Where is the respect?

I believe that some women want & almost need to have the control, the upper hand & the final say. I'm in no way timid or passive BUT I will accept the fact that I am not able to do what men are able to do, not entirely that is. I work on cars, I can fix pretty much anything in my home but I also like having a man to lean on & look for support from. I understand we, male & female are equal however... someone has to have just a tiny percentage of more of a say. I'm not speaking about the man described in the post above mine. I'm talking about a compassionate, caring, loving, understanding & willing man. Too many men these days depend on women to carry them due to having self entitlement aka freeloading idea that has slowly faded into today's generation. Everything seems to be flip flopping & I think it's seen everywhere. Once men worked & women stayed home, then women started working & men stayed home but not many men did what the women used to do. Laying around, waiting for a meal to be cooked & money to get handed to them is typical now a days as pathetic as that is. Might not be you or men you know but its happening more now than ever before & its going to get worse. Women & men are changing roles. I am all for equality but only if the men are men & women are women.

I've carried too many loads & in all honesty I'd like a break not only for my body but my mind & emotions also. So I'm also letting a man, a deserving man to take the lead.

LordKnows, It is ladies like you men should be so glad of! Taking the lead for a man is needed for the man,but not to cause his woman to become a slave to him,like my dad did with my mom. My mom was Edith Bunker! Before Edith Bunker came to be on the scene in All in the Family! LOL She was content to allow my dad to be a jerk.And before Jesus came into my life i learned well from my dad!

I missed out a lot because i was content to be a jerk! Now as you saying goes,with Jesus, throwing the dice is always a seven! LOL Life is not a gamble anymore,because a woman has so much value to me! It sure took some years to clean my mind up from the mess I put into it,but Jesus really helped me to understand just how much value a woman has in a man's life! I am no john doormat,and one should never mistake my kindness for any weakness!

However!!! Being and staying loyal has always been, and will always be number 1 to me in Christ as well as in any relationship I may have with a woman. A woman needs to be secure and feel secure in her man at all times! The cost a man pays for doing this is very high,but also VERY well worth all the effort! ( Luke 12:32-34) The kingdom of God rests also upon our every word, and every deed! Because Jesus paid such a high price for us,are we his servants to treat another any different?? ( John 13:34-35!) I think not!

As to men that stay at home to take care of children while the wife works, there is nothing wrong with it, but... women are usually better at nurturing than men, although sometimes that's not the case either. I have seen women that prefer working and bossing others around and haven't an ounce of patience with kids. If men stay at home and are lazy there, that's no worse or better than a woman who does the same. Its a fallen world filled with fallen people, both male and female, and the times are becoming more and more like in the days of Noah.

A man being the head should be no more than the captain of a baseball team...He passes the 'orders' on and takes responsibility especially when something goes wrong..But he does not dominate anyone.

I like the fact that you can fix things..There is no reason women can't if they have the ability....My youngest daughter has strong mechanical abilities and does fix things when I'm not home..she installed storm doors and fixed the water cooler for example..she dismantled it and found the problem, fixed it and reassembled the thing. It makes me feel so proud!
I watched my Lady as we were raising our kids...I put in a fourteen hour day at work as a heavy equipment operator in a mine...I would come home to my Lady and four daughters and see her dragging her tail around...Even girls can drain resources of the best mother. LOL I came to the conclusion that a stay at home mother works harder than a fourteen hour a day equipment operator every time...In truth I could not do what she had to do...Women are better than men! On my days off I would chop and haul wood (we lived as off the grid as we could) I would haul water after our well cratered.. Maintaining vehicles, butchering animals for meat. etc..stuff my Lady could never do..Men are better than women!
My Lady loved to make me shirts, I tried that..Ha! Women are better than men! After some fourteen hour shifts I would come home, put our stuff into the truck and drive twelve hours to Seattle so we could visit my Lady's folks..she could not do that...Men are better than women.....LOL Enough!
The fact of the matter is....God took woman out of man...Man is not complete without his woman..Since God did not change man into a woman the woman is not complete without her man either....A woman has skills and strengths that the man does not have and the man has skills and strengths she does not have...But put them together and Wow! What a team!

In any group someone has to lead, to take responsibility, to speak the direction they want to go, and keep things on track.....God chose the man. Why? Man was on the scene before the woman was.....Just that....No more...
One more thing? God created man....Male and female created He him.....Look it up.....
Here's a question then.....When a man commits 'Christian abuse of his wife dominating and demanding and not helping.., and his wife is a part of him, is he not abusing himself too? Cruelly and thoughtlessly? That's warped!

LOLOL I remember a pastor asking me....Are you going to follow me or not?! He freaked when I told him...If you follow Jesus I'll follow you.....Why should that make him angry? Hmmmm? LOL
