who was on earth that would find Cain and kill him?

That all sounds 'fine', however, isn't Scriptures main point in the cross of Calvary / our salvation? Christian - living. How God dealt with various nations in the Old Testament. And, of course God created a beautiful nature for us to enjoy. Isn't all of that to be pointing us to God. His salvation? Either accepting or rejecting and eternity being in all of our futures?

@Admon -- well -- your interest in 'heptadic' study -- the study of 7's in the Bible. You and Waggles could probably have a good conversation about it.

Apparently it's supposed to 'seal' Scripture or something.

God's having inspired His Word to us and our not adding or subtracting anything from it should be enough.

Well, since nobody but God could write that way it kind of proves that the bible IS Gods Word....Am I right?
 
Does a person Need to do a heptadic study -- like Church Missler -- the video was showing? Meaning that a person can get So caught up in numbers --symbolic in the Bible -- that , well. We already know it's God's Word.

Nope....You and I knew years ago that the Word is Gods Word....It's just interesting is all.
 
Who was on earth that could kill Cain? Adam, Eve, the serpent, the beasts of the field. And perhaps hundreds of A & E's offspring.

No - at this stage according to scripture Adam and Eve had no other children - after Cain came Seth, after Seth came other other sons and daughters.
Read the scripture and stop putting your own narrative into the story.
There were other people in the world besides Cain and his parents - and he went to the land of Nod which was in the east and there he took a wife.

Wait a minute, you fraudster. You admonish me for saying "Who was on earth that could kill Cain? Adam, Eve, the serpent, the beasts of the field. And perhaps hundreds of A & E's offspring.", and then you put "your own narrative into the story" by adding to scripture where scripture does not say so, namely: "There were other people in the world besides Cain and his parents." What a fraud you are.

Cain and Abel is Genesis 4
4:8 Cain spoke to Abel his brother. And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him.
4:14 Behold, you have driven me today away from the ground, and from your face I [Cain] shall be hidden. I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.
4:15 Then the LORD said to him, “Not so! If anyone kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” And the LORD put a mark on Cain, lest any who found him should attack him.
4:17 Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. When he built a city, he called the name of the city after the name of his son, Enoch.
Seth is not born until after all of this
4:25 And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and called his name Seth, for she said, “God has appointed for me another offspring instead of Abel, for Cain killed him.”
4:26 To Seth also a son was born, and he called his name Enosh. At that time people began to call upon the name of the LORD.
Other sons and daughters to Adam and Eve are not mentioned until Genesis 5 and after Seth
5:4 The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters.
5:5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

Fraud. You don't speak for God with all your assumptions.
 
Looking at Genesis 5:4 "After he begot Seth, the days of Adam with 800 years and he had sons and daughters vs 5 So all the days that Adam lived were 930 yrs. and he died.

In the Old Testament we read of men begetting men. All we Do know is that Adam and Eve had LOTS of children over those hundreds of years.

We really have no idea how many daughters Eve was giving birth to over those years. Or really, how many years were taking place. So as time went by the brothers and sisters migrated to the land of Nod which was on the east of Eden. Genesis 4:16

We learn of the first murder and the punishment for it.
 
Read scripture alone and follow the timeline - Cain and Abel chapter 4 then Cain is expelled with the fear of other people punishing him due to his being marked (or identified) and he gets a wife.
Then comes Cain's lineage.
Last after all of this Seth is born as a replacement for the loss of Abel and Eve thanks God for the birth of this son. If Eve had other sons before Seth scripture would tell us that she would thank God for that son.
Gen 5:3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.
5:4 The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters.
5:5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

Scripture clearly informs us that Adam had other sons and daughters after Seth.
