Why Christians Are Not Ashamed of Their Sin?

All born again believers have the Holy Spirit living inside them. When a believers sins it grieves the Holy with in, and if it grieves Him it grieves us as well. If not one should check themselves if they are truly saved.

2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

I remember the old preachers saying we fell out of grace. The alter call was not only for someone wanting to come to the Lord, or be healed of physical ailments but was also for those to repent your sins. Healing of the soul.

Not only is it a requirement to confess one's sin(s) when we miss the mark there is also a greater requirement for the Church when we see a person sin a sin sin that does not lead to death. We are to pray to the Lord God to forgive them of that sin(s), and God will forgive them, and give them life.

1Jn 5:16 If you see a fellow believer sinning in a way that does not lead to death, you should pray, and God will give that person life. But there is a sin that leads to death, and I am not saying you should pray for those who commit it. (NLT)

This is a huge responsibility that not too many believers do.

The sin that leads to death is "unbelief" We are not to pray for those in that situation.

Except, of course what the BIBLE SAYS!! (Gen 5:22)

Doesn’t say or mean he didn’t walk with God before Methuselah was born.
Although,I guess it could have said “continued “ to walk with God.
But then we couldn’t have this discussion

The sin may be forgiven but the effects remain until you change your ways.
Because one accepts Christ, that doesn’t mean the effects of sin don’t remain.
If you get cancer from smoking or liver disease from drinking, even though you are now saved, you will still suffer with it. Perhaps die.
(If… I got your meaning right)
If not,excuse the ring

Believe what you please (you will anyway).
