Joseph never got the chance to punish his brothers when they betrayed him so he used his brother Benjamin to find reasons to punish them. That is a totally forgivable response because Joseph was wronged in a major way and carried pain all these years. He wept so bitterly after he met his brothers in Egypt showing that he carried the pain of being betrayed for very long. Of course Joseph didn’t actually repay evil for evil, but he did want to take revenge at one point and God never condemned him for it.

So stop your church bs about condemning people for wanting to take revenge. It is a natural and very emotional response that comes from deep seated pain. People reacting in this way deserve as much compassion as they can to move on, not your church bs that is self righteous, judgmental and void of sympathy for people who are already struggling in pain.

Your church bs that is quick to point out “you are not following Jesus’ teaching” not only doesn’t make anything better, it adds wound to already wounded people and make them even more bitter than they already are. That does not come from a compassionate God.

The only time you should be pointing that out is to evildoers who are doing harm to other people for no reason but to satisfy their evil desires. Directing it at a person who suffered great pain and needs compassion to recover is going to cause more harm and does nothing good.

You people are no different from Job’s friends who care only about pointing out how wrong people are rather than considering that people like Job needs to be comforted rather than corrected. And the comfortable lifestyles of most churches is the exact reason for the ignorance.

yes i agree just been reading my younger boys the story of samson and also in provebs to help them before they enter the world of women my older boys learnt and suffered the hard way didnt listen .but having said this men also scare me if outside Gods will and ways brute beasts come to mind x insightfull and helpfull post to many a man and woman x

well all i can say is my experience of relationships between men and women in and out of the church as i have witnessed personally .
so only being truthfull as i know .ive had 5 kids 3 in broken relationships with men and women and saw a lot of destruction to all sides and it does effect us in different ways my younger two are not yet full grown men so i guide them from Gods word firstly and experience as a.mom whos seen a lot of relationship problems including my own from a christian man so i dont mean to be harsh i love all folk regardless but am aware of problems with christian couples and non christian so i hope no offence taken wasnt intended x God bless always

I do have a spine, don’t worry. I have yet to burn myself out with any playboys because I know one when I see one. They don’t fool me.

In the world are good people and bad people, in the world are saved souls and lost souls.

Some good people are lost souls, it is a cocktail mixture for sure.

Relationships and marriage add to this cocktail, so does temptation and sin.

I have heard girls/women say, 'He is not my type of man'. Yet the ones they choose treat them bad, so what are they looking for, or looking at, in a man they search for?

Our eyes can deceive us, when we look in the eyes on another what do we really see, a fairy tale marriage, there isn't any such thing. The problem so often can be we do not see the sinful signs, was it what the man was wearing, was it what the woman wasn't wearing, was it the look, he/she seems a nice person, he/she is popular with others, he/she seems funny or makes me laugh, but what is actually going ion behind the eyes, and in the heart?

A born again lady may find a single man, he is not born again, but she says, hay ho, it doesn't matter, does it or doesn't it? May be it doesn't at that time, but the devil loves relationships that are split this way, he sees it as an opportunity to set one against the other to get the saved soul to bow to the partners unsaved ways. The world is full of relationships like this, most don't last, some do depending on the faith and prayers of the saved soul and others praying for them. The bad so often doesn't show its face until after they marry, it is so often after they 'become one body through marriage' that is when the devil attacks and the persons true colours tend to show.

If a saved soul, marries a lost soul, the saved soul is stepping into the devil's playground. The enemy of souls will attack, it is only down to time.

If two lost souls marry, some will have issues others seem to go through life with few, it may even seem they don't seem to have any issues at all in their lives. If they are both lost soul the devil does not have any interest in them, they are lost, but if one comes to Christ the enemy of soul will no doubt attack their relationship, his sole aim is stopping us coming to Jesus and being saved, knowing about sin and having them forgiven.

The issues people experience is not just down to flesh and blood, it is also down to the spiritual. We cannot see the bad in a person when we meet them, they show their good side and so do we, if we cannot see the flesh side how can we see the spiritual side. A lost soul would not understand the fruits of a good person, they see them as a good person, a born again person should be able to tell by the fruits, but love is also blind, and as said earlier we all show our best side at first.

Life isn't easy @Enxu, Jesus never said it would be. I know what it is like to me the only saved soul in a family/extended family, but we must Trust the Lord with all our heart, we are not to lean on our own understanding, in all our ways we are to follow him, take Jesus yoke upon us, learn from him, he will guide our paths. And when the time is right he will guide us to the right person, or the right person will be guided to us. Meanwhile, earth is the devil's playground, be wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove, pray for protection through the blood of Christ daily and pray he will guide you in your relationships with others. Praying as the spirit guides you.

Jesus loves you enxu, we do too.

A lot of stuff they will not read to you, because "The Institutionalize Church' do not want to offend you by what is in God's Word. They play "Leap Frog". or find a weak and "Slight of The Pen" Translation of "The Holy Scripture' to appease your sinful life style and all of the time damming you and your children to Hell. For they are "Skilled in Deception" for they have had centuries of Dogmatic practices.
