Beware of the "Rapture Ready" Forum

I am an ex RR member who can testify from personal experience just how unchristian and satanic the leadership of RR truly is.

I don't want to go into details too much but I will say that I was banned from the site for becoming too popular with other members through my posts. This is not sour grapes or conjecture on my part as I have proof of this in the form of copied PM's and posts made after my banning sent to me by some friends from the site who already had my personal contact information. It seems that if you take even a small part of the spotlight off the moderators and admin they cannot stand it.

I have never before run into a group claiming to be Christians who have acted is so blatantly an unchristian manner.

I too am a former RR member. I'm not banned from reading, but my posts have been blocked for reason's I don't even know. It was never explained to me...but had something to do with them thinking me a "pacifist". (which I am not) I was kind of hurt that I was all of a sudden blocked without warning like that, but it didn't surprise me since I noticed this happened often, before it ever happened to me.

But what I'd like to say is I do not in anyway think the moderators/group as "satanic" which has been a term loosely used here about them. That's a strong judgement about brothers/sisters in Christ ...a judgement I am not willing to make, nor do I want to stand before the Lord someday and try to explain myself for that. (accusing the brethren...) These brothers and sisters may not be treating their brethren in a loving way (which they too will be held accountable for if this is the case...) but that is a far cry from "satanic". All I'm am saying is we need to be careful here....we are one body thru the blood of Jesus, and we may not always agree or get along, but it doesn't call for such accusations. I think "some" of the RR leadership may struggle with pride and arrogance....not all though. But which of us doesn't struggle with some kind of sin?

Lets be careful...that's all I'm saying...coming from a sister who was pushed off of the RR fellowship.

The satanic part will come to you, as it did to me, if you go to the main page and read some of the articles posted there. The discussion boards claim just about everybody who doesn't believe exactly as they do is at least apostate or worse. But some of the articles from the main page are very questionable. I have seen articles there that would not fly in any bible believing Christian church I have ever been in.

They definitely have a dual personality if you go from the main page to the discussion boards.

Not all of the articles are that bad but they do slip in a few that will raise the hairs on the back of your neck.

Anyways I was ex RR. I am disgraced about mods the way they run the forums there. It hurts and even hurts my soul.

I haven't found anything santantic about the rapture ready forum Seems to be bible based to me.The rapture we meet the lord in the air. After the tribulation Every eye will behold him when he comes back to earth to set his kingdom up for a thousand years. Don't know about you but i'm looking forward to the rapture where i'll be at the marriage supper of the lamb .

I'm a pre tribber too..but there is to many ridiculous rules on tha forums. You cant tall about dreams and visions that you had, you cant talk about Rick Warren, 90 Minutes in Heaven, Rapture on Rosh Hashana, ect. Basically there is no freedom on Rapture Ready.

Just got suspended (again) from Rapture Ready, and I will not go back. I've had it with them.

I was a member for years. Mods are downright nasty, arrogant and rude. When they and a few of their minions gang up on you, might as well forget it.

I was raked over coals for going to the Glenn Beck rally this weekend. My goodness....you would've thought I bowed down and worshiped Beck. I went to pray for my country with other fellow Christians....that was IT !!

Geez...they turned it into some satanic ritualistic event, which is so twisted, and far from the truth, it's sickening.

It's time to move on. There are so many subjects you aren't even allowed to talk about....even ones that are taught in the Bible.

I wouldn’t call them Satanic. I defiantly have gotten this vibe it’s their way or the highway. It doesn’t even just have to do with religion. They’ve never outright said it but I get this vibe that if you don’t agree with them from a political stance you obviously can not be a Christian. Again it was never said directly just what I have interpret from other things.. There is really no freedom to say what you want, either you will get banned/perhaps put on read only or they will edit your posts to their satisfaction. They have that long list of banned topics/discussion.

Yea.....pretty much "their way" or the highway. I never got the impression of "satanic" issues either. However, I do feel they play God claiming to know everyones' heart.

500,000 people didn't show up in DC on Saturday to worship Glenn Beck. We prayed in "Jesus'" name...noone elses. Yet, they claim 500,000 people were praying with "other faiths", and so we were following a cult. I told them I guess I better check everyones' faith at the door of my church on Sunday, to make sure, if they were visiting, they weren't Catholic, Mormon, Mennonite, Jew, etc, cause I would have to tell them to leave, that I wasn't allowed to pray with them. That's what they were telling me about Saturday.

Yet, when I put their view in another setting (my church) I get banned.

That's not the first time that happened, so I just don't think I need to go back any more. Besides, I wanted to meet a "new" group of Christian friends.

Just got tired of the belittling, and condescending attitudes.

Rapture Ready is the forum that lead me to TJ. I tried to join the conversation their but found it to constricting for my taste. Then I wandered into the apostasy section of their forums and to my horror I saw Christians slamming Christians. Some very nasty un-Christ like. I got a tad upset over some of it. Wrote something not nice about the practice and whose daddy it was linked to. I got the ban hammer, my post was removed, and my IP address got blocked.

I felt bad about my behavior there so I wanted to apologize to them. When your IP address is blocked it makes it hard to do. I had to find one of the moderators through another Rapture themed forum that I found by doing a google search. In that Google search Talk Jesus popped up. This big thread in particular. Wow. I found the kind of Christian forum I wanted to take part in.

Funny, something tried to keep me from joining RR I was uneasy about it from the beginning. I thought maybe it was God trying to tell me I didnt need it. Now I wonder if it was Satan trying to keep me from TJ. So I sent Mr. Hat an apology got a reply that said if I wanted to return I can. I never sent him a reply to that. I don't need that negative attitude. What I have seen here in T-Jesus is far better than RR.

I spent sometime reading this thread. Particularly the big discussion on the whole tribulation and everything, the Rapture conversation. One person in particular said something about what if the whole idea was like the Jewish view of a warrior messiah that when it happens then the enemy uses it as a tool to distract the faithful from Jesus when he returns. I dove into my study on that principle and seen alot about rapture. Did you know that this whole idea was only around for the past 200 or so years. Made me wonder why no one thought of it for 1800 years. One possible idea is when a word slowly changes its meaning from one idea to another over generations. I'll be posting something about that down the road I really want to read my bible more while studying this subject.

I'm also glad I found TJ. Seems much more "loving" and "accepting" than RR. Let's face it...we don't all agree all the time. We have different opinions, and see things differently. But, noone can do the job of the Father, and that is what they try to do on RR. They claim to know the mind of God in judging everyones' heart.

My suspension is up on Monday. I won't be going back. I've had enough of it. I'm thankful to have found this forum.:wink:

I wouldn't say Rapture Ready is Satanic but like others have stated, the members are quite hostile. I was told it's really a pro Zionist / Israeli forum using Christianity as a front. If you talk about having friends who are Palestinian, Iranian, iraqi, or any other Middle Eastern origin but are Christians, the members of Rapture Ready pounce on you as if you betrayed them, God, and Israel. Even if those same people were born in America or barely escaped persecution for following Jesus rather than Islam. You can witness how they chastise other Christians, politicians, and celebrities who do not put Israel before America or Jesus. I asked them to remove me from their membership once it was confirmed to me what that forum is really about by the evidence from many others as well. Its a forum to support Israel rather than a fellowship with Jesus.

Btw, I am half Jewish so I hope people don't take it as an anti Israeli post. I love Israel as well as it's neighbors and love to see peace in the region

I am a member at RR and on rare occasions have had my "hand smacked" for a rule violation but overall the folks are friendly and the site is Christ centered and Christ honoring. As the number one rapture site on the internet I am sure the mods have their hands full fending off bogus and troll oriented posts. Since it is under attack it most be doing something right. Another great site is 'Celebrate Jesus' a spin off from RR. They would tend to agree Mods at RR come across as insensitive and controling at times.

I am a peacemaker at Heart and desire unity in the body of Christ!

Gimme a break OP. This goes on in every Christian forum. Talk about healing and tithing on TJ and they get ready to ban you too. All these sites are the same. If the woner doesn't agree with your biblical beliefs you are immediately labeled a heretic and promoter of unbiblical doctrines.

You honestly believe that? I've been reading their weekly "midnight hour" commentaries for several years and they certainly are Christians. They're a bunch of baptists that preach about sin and condemnation and suffering for Jesus all the time. Never preach victory, always preaching defeat on that site and how God is going to smite His children, who are blessed with the blessing of Abraham btw. They love to criticize Christians who believe its God's will to heal and to make people prosperous, just like ti says in the Bible. They're misguided Christians, but Christians nonetheless. They certainly tell everyone on that site that Jesus is the only way. That's the message of salvation they preach. I don't agree with a lot of their commentaries but they are believers just like you and me. They just don't believe a lot of things in the Bible just like many on this site don't. At least they do warn people about the Tribulation and have a fairly good guide for those days. That's got to count for something.

Best we don't critisise God for making the good Christians prosperous or anything then, cause that just wouldn't be right, I think.

Just went over to another site and realized this is the same guy who predicted Sept of 1994---Guess that answers my question.
