future vaccine becoming the Mark of the Beast foretold of in the Book of Revelation

And That is the point. God's Word is telling those who read it -- that there will be those teaching Against Jesus Christ being the Son of God. People Will be and have Been in the past teaching Non- Jesus Christ. They have been teaching antichrist. And in the Future there will Be an actual person the Antichrist -- a world leader who everyone will be following and he will become the Antichrist. He will turn Against anyone who believes / trusts him. He will have an antichrist -like spirit indwelling him.

When translating from one language to another, ya have to deal with getting the Best word useage to get the right thoughts / ideas across / understood in the other language. Which means that there have been and continue To Be those who teach Against Jesus Christ being the Son of God -- they teach non-Christ most everything. And there will also Be a person doing exactly that during the 7 yr tribulation period. 1/2 way through -- the Antichrist will take his place.

Dear Sue, have we not shared enough in the past for you to know that I know what you say here?

So true sister but if you don't know the word translated from, how do you know what you are reading is correct?

It is also important to understand in context, I add his here but know you know this is so.

Blessings

I've shared a lot with a lot of people.

I'm not a translator -- my sister and brother-in-law were, though. They still do to some extent.

Honestly, I understand enough in English and trust those who've translated the Greek / Hebrew into English. I have in my possession the books needed to 'dig deeper' if I chose to. I simply don't choose to.

As for the antichrist. There have been and continue to Be and in the end there still will be one person who claims that role. We don't know who he is.

One of the assignments my brother-in-law had while in Seminary was to translate from the Greek into English the book of 1 John. They learned Brazilian Portugese on the field.

Nice to see you quote 'antichrist' Sue.

Put the right people in their right places.

Jesus IS Lord. \o/

But if there are items that can mislead these must be made clear. I do not accept God's Word as a preacher may put it, I check it for myself, I check the translation as I did here.

Are you telling me Sue that you would put Devil or devil, Satan or satan?

Greek Strong's Number: G500
Greek Word: ἀντίχριστος
Transliteration: antichristos

antichrist

NOT Antichrist and NOT antiChrist.

May be you choose to capitalise devil, satan, antichrist, I certainly don't, and it is not translated correctly with a capital.

Shalom

Our pastor always gives us the passages that he's using. Lots of times having us turn to them ourselves in our Bible.

I choose to Not capitalize 'devil' or 'satan'.

I Used to capitalize the C in antichrist until I realized that those people would teach anti / against Christ. So I changed to simply 'antichrist' when talking about all of the anti Christ teaching being taught.

But, again, there Will Be a future man referred to as the Antichrist. But born again believers won't need to worry about that.

There will Sue, we just need to keep our eyes on Jesus, trust in the Lord.

So long as we are born again from above, take up our cross daily and follow Jesus, repent and practice righteousness, we need not fear, not even the tribulation periods, which is as we know, subject to when our Lord Returns in Glory.

Bless you

Will the reference be from mankind or Scripture?

It is prophesied, it will happen, woman be sure if that.

God gave us The Word, His Word, so that we can know these things. It will all happen according to God's timing.

Bless you

We disagree on our interpretation of Scripture . :) Yes all of God's prophesy's will happen according to His timing..

Our salvation does not depend on our accepting of Him but His accepting of us

maybe but scriptures says those who seek find, we must keep knocking.

Matthew 7:7
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Jeremiah 29:13
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

Deuteronomy 4:29
But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

then there is repentance none gets chosen unless they repent.

Did you notice in the parrable of the wedding guest all were invited but no one accepted.

Joh 6:43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

@reba 1 -- The term Antichrist is not found in the book of Revelation, but I just relocated it specifically in 1 John 2: 18 " Little children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many anitchrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. " There are a couple of areas we do Not agree on -- the free will and our salvation. Our salvation is Not based on anything we can ever do to work our way To heaven. We Do need to make a personal decision To accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.
From reading this post "Our salvation is Not based on anything we can ever do to work our way To heaven. We Do need to make a personal decision To accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior."
Which is it ? We must make a personal decision to accept Christ or salvation is not based on anything we can ever do. ? One of the points we disagree on.
You show me you have the fairly standard view Scripture via dispensationalism. What i read in your posts tells me that ... I no longer hold to that view... One simple example in mind is the words of Jesus where he says "this generation" we differ on those words i accept the phrase "this generation" to mean the generation He was talking to you read it as future. Believing dispensationalism teaching was how i was raised, accepted it as capital T truth till i was in my 40s. There are a ton of reason some i dont know how to even explain ... Is there a Scripture that says there will be a 7 year tribulation? The phrase 'The Great Tribulation' is not in my KJ . When in your eschatology is the resurrection? There is a lot we differ on but the main thing is we love the Lord.

Many of our brothers and sisters in Christ and people of the world do not understand, is that we have, what we call " biblical terminology" and these terms are documented . That we all may understand, one meaning when using the documinated "terminology". Now days we have the internet, and every "Tom, ****, and Harry" have their own "biblical definition" of a "terminology of a biblical terminology". This type of division among our brothers and sisters was "orchestrated by institutionalize church" and their Pastorialship Leaders" team. The purpose, to cause division and confusion in the body of Christ". " a house divide against itself, cannot stand"! "Come out from among". My sheep hears my voice and will not follow another! " Come out from among them for the gates of hell ,will not prevail, over "My People"! [ how you like that "paraphrase ". I like that "My People"! My People, "My Pecular People" the gates of Hell will not prevail! For they are "Sealed".

Sorry for the side bar.

Reba1 -- salvation is the most important decision a person will ever make. Scripture is very clear about it.

1 Corinthians 15:1-3 " Moreover brethren, I declare to you the Gospel ........by which also you are saved,.........Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve."

Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." vs 13 "For, who so ever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. "

As for the 7 yrs. tribulation period -- look at Daniel 9 :24 - 27 --- vs 27 -- the covenant for one week= 7 yrs. and in the middle of the week = 3 1/2 yrs. is half way through. Great Tribulation.
70th week has not happened , yet. The 7 yr tribulation period.

I'm also aware of the question of what does "this generation" refer to.

Loving the Lord -- who do we believe the Lord Is? People say they believe in Jesus Christ -- well -- what do they believe About Jesus Christ.

I'm thinking that Dispensationalists have 7 different ones. I hold to the dispensation of law and then of grace. We are now living in the dispensation of Grace,

So -- are we agreeing?

Seems to me God make the decision .. Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

When do you believe the resurrection will happen?

Loving the Lord -- who do we believe the Lord Is? People say they believe in Jesus Christ -- well -- what do they believe About Jesus Christ.
Answering as if this is a question to me. Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. As Thomas said Joh_20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Our Saviour .our Redeemer

Even copying and pasting those words brings this old hymn to mind
Wonderful, wonderful
Jesus is to me,
Counsellor, Prince of peace,
Mighty God is he.
Saving me, keeping me
From all sin and shame;
Wonderful is my Redeemer
Praise His Name!

Reba1 -- what about the passages I listed -- 1 Corinthians 15 and Romans 10 -- you ignored them.

You found fairly Calvinistic.

The Holy Spirit Does draw a person -- it's called the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. But a person Still responds one way or the other.

So -- what about those two passages I mentioned.

Reba1 -- yes that song is one I grew up with. And we'd have youth sing-along times and sing that one. One of my favorites.
