future vaccine becoming the Mark of the Beast foretold of in the Book of Revelation

Reba1 -- what about the passages I listed -- 1 Corinthians 15 and Romans 10 -- you ignored them.

You found fairly Calvinistic.

The Holy Spirit Does draw a person -- it's called the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. But a person Still responds one way or the other.

So -- what about those two passages I mentioned.
Sue you sound , "Calvinistic" but you do not use Reformed terminology, you just change the wording. You said: " The Holy Spirit Does draw a person--it's called the convicting power of the Holy Spirit". That is what a "Calvinist" calls "Irrestible Grace". The I in " Tulip"! You just use different words. Baptist are nothing but "non- practicing Calvinist". Sue you are a "Calvinist" and don't know it! LoL!:p

PS. Most of all my friends in here are "Calvinistic", for they talk like one but use different words, they act like one, most of them "acting like Peter, warming their hands by the enemy's fire". And the maid said: aren't you one of them, yes you are, you talk just like one of those "Calvinist" and walk like one too, you even got scars like them! Yes you are! LOL! Under the guise of"cloak" with no dagger". LOL:eyes:

Brothers and sisters, We live in very crazy times but I also have my doubts about this whole Covid-19 thing. I listened to the whole video. I do not agree that a future vaccine will become the mark of the beast. However, I do not think this Covid-19 is as dangerous as they claim, and that is even if Covid-19 exists at all. It is debatable whether the “virus” has been isolated and has been identified as a virus, and not an exosome. I doubt mainstream media and these pharmaceutical companies care about saving people, or telling the truth about anything. I do not find the story about a vaccine altering DNA to be too far from reality, and that comes from Mr. vaccinate the world, Bill gates who is not a hero, or someone I’d trust– someone with very close ties to Epstein and other very sick and evil people. This Covid-19 is being used today to cover up human and child trafficking victims and this comes from the UN. Why nobody is talking about this in any mainstream media I really wonder. “Lockdowns, travel restrictions, resource cutbacks and other measures to curb the spread of the new coronavirus are putting victims of human trafficking at risk of further exploitation, while organized crime networks could further profit from the pandemic, according to the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).”

He is right. Today masks are mandatory, and they can do that with a vaccine. God knows what they are planning to put into our bodies and how many people will get sick and die from it.

1 Corinthians 15:1-3 " Moreover brethren, I declare to you the Gospel ........by which also you are saved,.........Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day, according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve."

Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." vs 13 "For, who so ever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
They are not ignored they say what they say . Again we understand them a bit differently

Yes i agree but to be true to Scripture Joh_6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Joh 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
Joh 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
Joh 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
Joh 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Our salvation does not depend on our accepting of Him but His accepting of us... Salvation is by His Grace . This is not the thread for that 2000 year old discussion.. :)

John 6:44 (KJV)
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

How does God draw men and women unto himself

John 6:45 (KJV)
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

And it was for this he called us

2 Thessalonians 2:13-15 (KJV)
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

The Holy Spirit calls men through the gospel; and it is the gospel that is the power

Romans 1:16-17 (KJV)
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

God draws people unto Himself through the teaching of the gospel

1 Corinthians 1:18-21 (KJV)
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

When they hear the gospel, they have the ability to respond to God's gospel call, but they also have the ability to reject it

Acts 13:45-48 (KJV)
But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Sinners are saved by God's grace when they respond in faithful obedience to the gospel that draws them to God

Matthew 7:21 (KJV)
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

God is always ready for men to repent and obey. I like this verse ;o)

Acts 17:30-31 (KJV)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

God calls us, God calls us to repent of our sins.

Luke 5:32 (KJV)
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

We have to respond

Acts 2:21 (KJV)
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

We have to respond

Acts 2:38 (KJV)
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We have to respond, we have to be born again from above

John 3:3,5-8 (KJV)
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

God calls us to repentance, salvation is the gift, but we have to respond, through Jesus, we have to be born anew.

Our salvation DOES depend on us accepting him sister.

If we don't...

John 3:16-21 (KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Reba1, I have a Free gift for you.

You have two options, you either 'reach out' and take the Free Gift, or you chose not to accept the gift. As in John 3:18-21 you accept Jesus died on the cross for your sins, you accept he shed his blood for your sins and accept God's gift into your heart or, by your decision, you choose not to acept God's gift and remain condemned by your decision.

GOD's CALL, offering free gift of salvation through Jesus. Gift of love John 3:16-17

1 - repent, accept the free gift and be saved, your sins are wiped clean, remembered no more, Jesus paid the price of your sins you don't have to.

2 - reject the call and free gift and pay the price for your own sins. The wages of sin being death.

God doesn't want any to be lost, that is why He Calls, that is why Jesus died on the cross, but a loving God as he is he does not force us to accept the call and free gift, he leaves us to decide.

And Reba1 -- would like to add to what Brother-Paul has shared -- John 3::3-7 -- the encounter of Nicodemus with Jesus Christ about his need to be born Again. Because we're All born physically -- but Spiritually dead. And in That condition, bound for eternity in hell -- no one wants to end up there. So -- we need to be born Again, but Spiritually -- so as to be able to spend eternity in heaven. So the being born Again, Spiritually is what takes place by accepting God's free gift Of salvation.

Even the 'elect' Do need to 'be saved'. And God is the Only one who know who those people are.

Brother-Paul has done a wonderful job Of sharing with you, And with everyone else who's been reading this.

but ROmans tells us we must beleive in Jesus and that he died and was was raised from the dead. We can choose weather to believe or not. If we dont believe we will not be chosen by God we will not be drawn in from God I dont think

Romans 10,9
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

@Sue D. I have never studied John Calvin's works Calvinist label was put on me when i had zero idea what a Calvinist was What i know of Calvin is the wiki bio... I do read Matt Henry . Seems from being labeled because of the way i understand Scripture John Calvin and i agree on some points just as you and i do.
To continue with : 1Co 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Paul is no long Saul. Paul speaks of His Grace.

Greetings Dave,

God does CALL us brother, he calls us to repentance, he calls us to give us a free gift, Salvation through Jesus Christ.

But like I put in Post 66, we have to reach out and accept the gift. We have to want the gift, repent and submit to God through Jesus.

God calls, it is our choice whether we accept or not, John 3:18-21

First is God's Call,
Second is the offering of the Free Gift of Salvation

At this point God has done all he can, Jesus died for our sins, that truly demonstrates God's love for us, but the next step is down to us, we cannot blame anyone else, it is our choice. John 3:18-21

Third - we choose - do we reach out and accept the Free Gift of Salvation or do we reject it?

Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

This scripture refers to our confession when we are ready to accept the gift and submit to God through Jesus.

Shalom

@ Reba 1 -- I am Not a Calvinist -- have never claimed to be one. Someone else has attached that label to me and I don't appreciate that label. I guess it was me that commented to that affect. So I should apologize. And, yes, he Did have some valid points, but so did Mr. Armenian. But both of them were merely men. God's Word should be our standard.

Mr. PloughBoy is determined that I am a Calvinist -- but I don't care for that label.

Physically a person has no choice to be born or not. We come from our mother's womb. Spiritually we Do have a choice. The Holy Spirit does the convicting of our soul. The Holy Spirit worked with me for a long time before I Did pray and shared with God what was on my heart. I asked Him to be my Savior -- thanked Him for His gift Of salvation. And at that moment, I knew the Holy Spirit had come to indwell my heart -- an inner peace was there that had not been there before.

Yes God Is the potter -- but we are not puppets. It can be a delicate balance between God's will for our lives/ those things He has planned for us. And our inner desire to follow those plans. But the Holy Spirit Will give us peace about doing what we should be doing.

Each person is a unique individual -- God works individually in our lives.

As often as i at one said the same as you i now see how the view i once held put man in control of his ow Salvation .. God is the potter...

Greetings sister

Man is not in control of his own salvation, no. Man is only in charge of his destiny, heaven or hell. God has done everything else, God has done everything except giving man free will to choose.

God in His Love for mankind, allowed His one and only son to die for our sins. The cruellest death ever invented, but Jesus being faithful to the Father in all things, died and shed his blood on the cross, he took upon himself the sins of the whole world, and paid the price for our sins so that we do not have to.

Salvation is a Gift from God, all we have to do is accept it, or reject it. That is all men and women have to do, accept the free gift, be forgiven, receive eternal life or reject it and pay the price for our sins ourself. Man only chooses his destiny, God gives a free gift of salvation to ALL.

You offer me a bar of chocolate Reba1, you say here take it it is free, it is nice, you will like it, it is good for you. You have done everything you can, I have to choose whether to accept or reject your good will, in love, offer.

A person's eternal destiny is determined By his / her accepting God's gift of salvation.

Free will -- the person who is one of the 'elect' will have up to their death bed to accept that gift. After That , it's eternally too late. Only thing Is, 'we' don't know when our 'death bed' will occur.

So -- the reality IS -- Now is the time for salvation.

As often as i at one said the same as you i now see how the view i once held put man in control of his ow Salvation .. God is the potter...

God is the potter indeed sister, but the clay has to be put in his hands first.

He takes us as we are, sloppy or died up clay he doesn't mind, then he moulds us to be the people he wants us to be.

But we have to accept the gift he offers, or we are condemning ourselves John 3:18-21

John 6:44 (NKJV)
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

God draws people unto himself, by the Power of the Holy Spirit, through Jesus Christ.

Metaphorically, to draw by inward power, lead, impel:
John 6:44 I [God] by my moral, my spiritual, influence will win over to myself the hearts of all

Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament.

Note: 'to draw by inward power', we cannot earn, work or receive salvation, except through Jesus.

God 'CALLS US'
He offers us the Free Gift of Salvation and forgiveness of sin, on the basis that we repent of our sins, accept and submit to Jesus.

God has done all the work, not man, when man chooses to repent, accept and submit to God through Jesus, God's Holy Spirit does the rest.

The only think man has to do is... Make a choice, eternal life or eternal damnation. Sins forgiven, price paid, or we pay for our own sins which is the second death.
