I can show you the solar eclipse described more places if you want.

15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

Joel foresaw the sun and moon go dark before the battle of Armageddon starts. The stars also will stop shining over Israel because a solar eclipse causes a twilight condition. Twilight occurs because there is still enough light in the sky to prevent someone from seeing the stars. We now have a similar condition immediately after sunset.

Amos 8:2–3, 8–9 KJV
2 And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the Lord unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
3 And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord God: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord God, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:

When the end comes for Israel, God will cause the sun to darken on a clear day. The darkness is not caused by clouds. Notice that it is noonday, so the sun is directly over Israel at that time.

Job 38:12–13, 15, 22–24 KJV 12 Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the
dayspring to know his place;
13 That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

172 AMERICA’S LAST WARNING

15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm
shall be broken.
22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
24 By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?

God describes what He is going to do to judge the wicked during the time of trouble and the day of battle. Job 38:13–15 tells us that He will take hold of the ends of the earth to slow the rotation in such a way that light will be withheld from the wicked.

yes it certainly talks about dark day but how do you know this is solar eclipse? and how does the author of the book proove he's "prophecy" is true?

God will send a shadow to Israel when the atmosphere is burned and the sun scorches men. Look at all my posts about the darkness, a permanent solar eclipse would fulfill all the passages.

When the sun is seven times stronger and the moon’s reflection is as hot
as our sun now as it says in Isaiah 30:25-26, how will anyone survive?
Please look at verse ten. God is going to send darkness on the seat of the Antichrist, which is in Israel, according to Daniel 11:45, and on the home kingdom of the Antichrist before Armageddon.

Quite frankly I don't know or care what Futurism and Preterism is, If the bible says something is true, then I believe it, and if the bible says something is false, I refuse to believe it, regardless of what names mankind gives them. [h=1][/h]

your theory of solar eclipse sure is fascinating as end times prophecies are.. but we will see then what happens for certain, when it happens.

Jari, the reason I stress this cause for the judgment on the seat of the Beast and his kingdom is that America is on the dark side of the earth when the sun stays over Israel!

If I am correctly understanding the prophecy, America is the kingdom of antichrist. Europe, Africa, Asia and the middle East are all in the light out side the 200 mile shadow of the permanent solar eclipse.

In Revelation 8:8 an asteroid the size of a mountain will impact the earth and make it wobble. So any solar eclipses we expect now will not happen then.

Please think about the sun and moon mentioned in verses nineteen and twenty. When people look into the heavens from Israel, there is still no light from the sun and moon even though they are in their heavenly positions. The permanent solar eclipse will start near the end of the tribulation period and last through the kingdom age for one thousand years. America will become an ice-covered land with no people.
