If the church is “Raptured” in this generation, what are the people left still, in the “Institutionalized church”, called?

You asked Why make the rapture so important? If Jesus Christ Is the center of your life -- you'll be raptured up when it happens. And it Is important because He will be taking the Church / Bride of Christ / up with Him. The Marriage Super of the Lamb will be taking place.
You are right to say i will go to Heaven . But not until my work on Earth is finished .

Or would you prefer to say, when His, work is done. Because He does not need you. You sound like a “Baptist singing one those nice Zion songs” in which I do enjoy.

Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Ever wonder if Jesus understood the difference between the words 'this' and 'that' ?

Of course and those he spoke to understood.
Every culture has their own “idiom”. You are reading a “translation” of words. Remember. That has it’s own “idiom”. Sometimes in context you have to look threw the lenses of the cultural he was speaking to and filter the translated words we have into their “idiom “. Notice I said: sometimes.

Like a song we used to sing, it went like this: “ Soon and very Soon, we are going to see the king. “Soon and very soon .....we are going to see the King! Hallelujah,,,hallelujah,,, we are going to see the King!
We song that song over 40 years ago.
Many, have left us through those passing years going to see the King. I song that song as well, it is so true today as it was 40 years ago when I st. song it. The culture of words of that generation.

I dont understand why some folks have such a hard time accepting the words of Jesus .

“It depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is. If the—if he—if ‘is’ means is and never has been, that is not—that is one thing.

It is His Work

It is the work He has assigned to me . There are only 2 who can do it .
Some years ago I told the Lord i couldnt be what He wanted me to be . I returned all He gave me . A few months later the Lord said come up here . I stood before the Lord in Heaven . I saw the Armor of God all polished with all the other things i had given back .

The Father said to me , there is no one else . I replied no one else is crazy enough.

So here i am , One of Two . And my work is laid out before me . As you say Gods Work.

There is no filter .

What is written is for each who reads it

Its just like looking at a sunset , everyone recieves it a different way . Yet it is the same sunset

Be Blessed and open , Hear the words i share . I type and God speaks !!!

Matt 24:29 "But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Matt 24:30 "And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory.
Matt 24:31 "And He will send forth His angels with A GREAT TRUMPET and THEY WILL GATHER TOGETHER His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
Matt 24:32 "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near;
Matt 24:33 so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.
Matt 24:34 "Truly I say to you,

Matt 24:35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

I have wondered about this passage in the context presented here. This generation will not pass away until these things take place.
There has been a lot of debate about "this generation". Some people say "this age" or "this dispensation". I don't know.

From (a presumed derivative of) G1085; a generation; by implication an age (the period or the persons): - age, generation, nation, time.
Total KJV occurrences: 42

But I have to wonder when these things happened?
When was the sun darkened? When did the moon quit shining? When were the powers in heaven shaken?
When did Jesus come back on the clouds with power and great glory? Did the church miss this event?
When did the trumpet sound? When did gather together the elect?
When did heaven and earth pass away?

I've read Mark's version also.

Mark 13:24; "But in those days, after that tribulation, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT,
Mark 13:25; AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
Mark 13:26; "Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN CLOUDS with great power and glory.
Mark 13:27; "And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven.
Mark 13:28; "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near.
Mark 13:29; "Even so, you too, when you see these things happening, recognize that He is near, right at the door.
Mark 13:30; "Truly I say to you,
this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
Mark 13:31; "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away
.

"the stars will be falling from the sky". Some say this is related to Rev 8:12; or possibly Rev 12:4; (which happened long before that generation).

Luke's version may be the most perplexing.

Luke 21:25; "There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves,
Luke 21:26; men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Luke 21:27; "Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN A CLOUD with power and great glory.
Luke 21:28; "But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."
Luke 21:29; Then He told them a parable: "Behold the fig tree and all the trees;
Luke 21:30; as soon as they put forth leaves, you see it and know for yourselves that summer is now near.
Luke 21:31; "So you also, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.
Luke 21:32; "Truly I say to you,
this generation will not pass away until all things take place.
Luke 21:33; "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
Luke 21:34; "Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap;
Luke 21:35; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.
Luke 21:36; "But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."

verse 35 here says "it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth". Not just some of the people.. "all those".
Not just part of the earth, but "all of the earth".

When did this happen? When did Jesus come back in power and take all these people?

I know a few churches teach this "preterism" stuff. But I don't buy it. Too much hasn't happened yet.

Rev 2:27; AND HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON, AS THE VESSELS OF THE POTTER ARE BROKEN TO PIECES, as I also have received authority from My Father;
Rev 12:5; And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.
Rev 19:15; From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.

When did Jesus rule the whole Earth with a rod of iron? When did He strike down all the nations?

Rev 20:2; And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
Rev 20:3; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

When was Satan imprisoned for a thousand years? Did this already happen?

Rev 20:10; And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

When was the devil thrown into the Lake of Fire? When did this happen? I guess none of us have the excuse of saying Satan is accusing us or tempting us anymore.

1 Cor 15:24; then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.
1 Cor 15:25; For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
1 Cor 15:26; The last enemy that will be abolished is death.

When did Jesus hand the kingdom of Heaven back to the Father? Does this mean Jesus isn't reigning anymore? When was death abolished?

2 Tim 2:18; men who have gone astray from the truth saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and they upset the faith of some.

2 Thes 2:3; Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,
2 Thes 2:4; who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

When was the temple rebuilt?

There are dozens more examples. But these are the obvious ones.

Some people say a lot of things what did Jesus say?

@B.A.C. -- You're right -- most of those things Haven't happened yet. So - yes, world events in light of Scripture.

He Did -- but it still needs to be accepted by the individual person.

And, yes, some of those passages are hard to understand.

you have so many events mix to gather as if they are one. You have “The Rapture” event, The 2nd Coming event that begins and usher in the “1000 year reign. Then after the 1000 reign. When all the demons and Satan has been release from the pit. To make war. Then they are consumed by the Word of His mouth.

you are addressing 3 events, that is entirely different. Through out the whole Bible these events has been specified. Clearly.

When did Jesus hand the kingdom of Heaven back to the Father? Does this mean Jesus isn't reigning anymore? When was death abolished?
What does Jesus say about the Kingdom?

Mat_3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
did Jesus cast out devils ?
Mat_12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Mat 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Luk_9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

Luk_12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Joh 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

God tells us what He says the kingdom is ..

Just as the Jewish leader ship 2000+ years ago missed Him cause they were looking for a different kind of King then He is .

ghen-eh-ah'

Luke 21:29; Then He told them a parable: "Behold the fig tree and all the trees;
Luke 21:34; "Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap;

Rev 2:27; AND HE SHALL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON, AS THE VESSELS OF THE POTTER ARE BROKEN TO PIECES, as I also have received authority from My Father;

Rev 20:2; And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;
Rev 20:3; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.

Often people do not realize how quickly things can come to pass, and how willing people are to give up freedom out of fear. Yet in a matter of days . The fear of this virus has spred globally .

The enemies of God are paying attention . Look for another great fear that the media will drive . And watch people give up thier rights . These will pave the way .

Be strong in Gods Love . The Out pouring of the Holy Spirit will come .and God will do wonders through you
