We are all born into a time slot brother, every generation in every country is at a different stage, we are influenced by the circumstances that are taken for granted in that time slot, every generation the same.

Abortion in the past would have never been accepted, look at it today.

Putting others before ourselves, saying please and thank you and being polite and cautious, it was the accepted norm, now it is putting self first and expecting everything for nothing.

How the world has changed since 1948, accelerating from the early 1960's to what we see today.

The TV used to be the polite friend in the corner of the room, now it is but an obscene, filthy, sinful, sexually orientated, drama queen, where all forms of sin are pushed at people and accepted, many do not know where the off button is.

When I was younger, I had chips with fish, now they are in computers. A mouse was a rodent, a hard drive was through a mountainous pass. A bit on the side was a salad bowl next to a meal. [I wasn't innocent, to the contrary, I was a heartless rat, I was born into a time slot, I accepted what the world did, I was not born again until the late 1980's]

When I was younger, woman were more respectable, most kept their mouths shut, not all, most wanted to be women, not like men, now they want to do the same as men, many argue they are better than men, many are argumentative, loud mouthed, opinionated, self centred. Women used to wear clothing that covered their bodies, from the 1950's dresses were below the knees, from the 1960's above the knee, half way up the upper leg until they became little more than wide belts. Ever time slot we drop into, are born into, people accept life at that time as norm all across the world it is the same. Look at what kids are born into today, abortion accepted and expected, same sex partners accepted and expected, porn, swearing, etc, etc, accepted and expected, these sins and more have grown like a cancer to what we see today, those born into it are schooled through, it is law, it is acceptable today.

God's wrath is rarely preached these days, God is love is the in statement. Fear God is not preached today, God is love is the todays theme. In fact it is only when we seriously look at all these changes we see clearly, everything God says is right and good for us, the world does the opposite. Sin, sin, sin, the world says it's ok, white lies or fibs, or as many celebrities have been heard saying 'this is what our generation does'! Basically this is what we do in this time slot we were born into, they know no different, they see no wrong, they are taught the law says it is ok!

Thank God for scripture, thank God for prophesy, thank God for Jesus, thank God for The Word.

I would say REPENT of the sin against the body, ask Jesus's forgiveness, and then ask the Father in Jesus's help to stop this behavior that you don't want to do. A lot of people Do have sex outside of marriage. We all have hormones and -- at times -- there Will be a temptation for couples who really want to be together To 'be together'. THAT is not going to send a person to hell.

There Are born again believers who Do give in to sexual temptation -- God created us with the desire to be sexual with the opposite sex. He's also given us guidelines as to 'with whom and when'.

The 1 Corinthians 6 passage -- the list of activities that will keep a person out of the Kingdom Of God. A life-style of those things -- definitely, yes. If a person finds themselves doing any of those things then there is something definitely off-base.

I'm going to use myself as an 'example' of sorts. I'm an older adult -- married most of my adult life and now single. How would I react if someone of the opposite sex -- someone from church because that's really the only place I go. If a relationship Would present itself. How Would I respond. I would Hope that 'we' would be on the same page in these areas. I would want to be Talking about important aspect of life. I'm Hoping that we'd put Biblical guidelines ahead of personal chemistry/ desire. How much friendliness To allow.

Many years ago -- there was a young couple who'd just gotten engaged. A couple of weeks later, she'd been arrested for shop-lifting. It was quite a shocker to everyone. It was in the local paper. So -- what Does the guy Do. She was a decent-looking young lady. Depending on Her attitude towards being caught and arrested. Either break off the engagement OR go with her to get whatever help she needed. Shop-lifting indicates a problem. Why is she doing it. How important is that other person To you. How much do you care about that other person.

Sometimes when there is a lot of 'chemistry' between people -- a guy / young lady -- there can be a tendency to over-look 'stuff'. So - they get married -- in Spite of -- crimes are committed and the spouse ends up in jail / prison. Are they going to divorce? are they going to be a faithful spouse in spite of.

There are times when the Obvious response isn't always the one expected to be received.

Also -- many years ago -- there was a couple who'd graduated from Bible college -- he felt led into an evangelistic ministry. They would go to various churches preaching / teaching. After a while, the wife was picking up on attitudes her husband was showing towards various church secretaries. He was approaching the various church secretaries with obvious needed planning, etc. and ended up having affairs. She ended up divorcing him and he obviously left in disgrace.

Another situation all those decades ago -- there was a young lady at college -- she'd spent some months in a mental hospital as the result of an emotional break down. The church she'd gone to had a young couple come as youth pastor and wife. The youth pastor and this young lady -- well -- she was very attractive and kind of laid-back. Apparently he'd befriended her -- bad decision. Ignored a boundary. They got caught -- at the church. The young lady had an emotional break-down and the youth pastor and wife left.

Satan is out to destroy believers / churches. Sometimes Non-believers have higher moral standards than others. Maybe it's a good-works' attitude. And , maybe, in todays Society -- no one takes Biblical morality seriously.

And I will say this "NO man can come to JESUS unless THE FATHER DRAWS that PERSON TO "JESUS" You cannot even come to JESUS unless you are drawn by GOD the FATHER. Then after you have come to JESUS, then you go to the FATHER in JESUS name. You can called upon Jesus all night and through out the years, ain't going to mean nothing unless The FATHER DRAWS you to Him. The terms "love" and "sex" exists in the English language. If you want to pretend that these two terms do not exist then go for it, pretend away, neither are offensive.

This wasn't a reply for me but I do feel led to share a few things regarding your comments.

Love and sex should never be compared, they are not the same, they never were, the Bible has at least 7 different types of love, each with a different meaning. The English language uses one word fits all. So there the problem starts.

People talk about making love, sex, but that is because the English language chooses to call it making love and not intercourse.

Many in the world quote God is love, believers and lost souls, he is, but which love? God's love is agape, it is a divine love, a hesed divine love, a steadfast divine love. There is no other love like it yet the world, particularly English speaking world talk of God's love and all other types of love as the same.

People love their children, their parents, they also love their pets, some love their job, others love their hobbies, car, holidays, many now a days love themselves, (this was prophesied), some love killing, some love killing games, some love porn, and on it goes.

The two terms you quote are in the English language, but we cannot understand the Bible by considering the world or the English language, far from it.

We Do have 1 Corinthians 13 -- the KJ uses the term 'charity' -- the NKJ uses the word 'love'. vs 4 starts describing 'love'.

And, yes, the term 'making love' -- it's actually Should be 'showing love' in a physical way to your husband/ wife. And, yes, intercourse would be the culmination Of -- the result Of 'foreplay'.

Didn't know there are 7 kinds of love in Bible. Three - yes. I just looked up the seven that you mentioned. The article said that only three are actually in the Bible. Agape, phileo , and eros. There are the other kinds that the author did mention.
Sex is Usually thought of as the way that husbands/ wives show physical love to each other. Or when people who've been dating for a while -decide they want to take their relationship 'to the next level'. It's 'assumed' that there will be some amount of sexual activity taking place 'after a while'. If Not, then that relationship ends and socializing is put in a different direction.

In various cultures -- the parents pick the mate for their grown kids. Or politics puts couples together. And That is possibly why the men are Told to 'love your wife' Or 'wives'. (women don't have more than one husband -- men have had more than one wife - which is now illegal). In Biblical times -- men had at least 2 wives and some had concubines. Some had Many. There would be at least one of them available for sex.

When a woman feels loved -- she's much more likely to respond in a positive way.
