Some would call me a stick in the mud. I dont bend when the subject is homosexuality.

Forgive the sinner. Love rhe sinner, not the sin. Are some statements i hear.

Homosexuality is an afront to God. Period!

Most sins are uncontrolled heated moments. But this act of sin includes mind body and soul. A wilful act, every time. And many in the lifestyle try to hide the discusting practise of what goes on by saying, we are in love.

The public in general, at least have a moral sense. But the silence of the same ppl carry its own sin. The sin of society, of burying thier heads in the sand. Hoping it goes away. Non involvement.

Homosexuality, is a perfect possession. Know its wrong, and do it anyways.

Its a sin that is the person, how can we divide that.

A person is a human being regarded as an individual. A sin is an immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law.

So Yes! There is a difference between a person and a sin.

Now I'll ask you. Homosexuality is an ugly sin, but how does that sin differ from any other sin? The Word says sin is sin. God does not quantify sin, Man does. God simply says it's sin. So what is sin? Its disobedience to the Word....Disobedience is the sin.

I understand what you are saying. In my personal opinion there are 2 kinds of sin. Basically. 1, when you are not thinking, and plainly do something stupid, like swearing. 2 a wilfull act.

Any sin is separation from God

The issue i have with homosexuality and the ilk. There is definitely a wilfull act. But it is more, likeflunting in the face.

I love God. And this flagrant behavior disgusts me

Understood...God finds it abominable too. But what does He feel about the people?! He loves them inconditionally....If you love God, then you will love them unconditionally too. Right?

Yes indeed.

Gods love for His Beloved Israelites included stern discipline.

Yes it did...That was not our covenant. We are still in the covenant of Grace...They were in the covenant of law...Since we live by faith in Gods Grace we have no excuse to judge anybody or to not love them as our Father loves them...Right? Hate the sin all you want but if you won't love the person....then you're in sin.

If you love that person you will say something, if you hate that person you will not say anything.

Pro 27:5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.

Rebuke is one thing...Judgment is another....Can you rebuke in love? If not, best to keep quiet.

I got a question for you how do you handle having them come to your home and say spending the night with there partner in the same bedroom do you allow this in your home or not?

No....I would not allow that behavior in my home...Its their lifestyle but I have mine too...In my home, my rules apply. If they are not willing to accept my standards they can keep their standards at a hotel...Still I don't have to judge them...I simply will not accept the behavior. I can be kind while I reject their lifestyle. Can't you?

Can't you?

Dear brother thank you for your great answer we are in agreement my freind !! I would as why you question suggested that I can't with the way you phrased that question? is that not judgmental? :)
I will add I am in full agreement about not judging others, although as your answer shows we are to use judgment I think its easy to get confused on this. (not you but new believers)

I do not pass judgement on these people I have some as family members. But I am guilty of being judgmental in other cases, I would ask that today sometime if you get a chance to pray that God takes away my judgmental attitude. Just yesterday I was reading with a freind in the book of Romans (judging others) about this and I need work in this area so I Ask for prayers.

God bless

2Ti 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Tit 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

@Bill
1. Homosexuality is an action not a person.

2. People or Persons are male or female / family or stranger.

3. We forgive each other but not necessarily our actions; Better to learn from them

4. Yes I can see that though sin is sin some are more of an abomination than others.

5. The public is of the world and capable of conforming to it or overcoming it.

6. Each individual divides themselves of their own Sin.

No I was not judging you at all but challenging you. I have no judgment against you at all. Of course I'll pray for you. While I do that, you make a firm decision in your heart and mind not to judge others. Speak your decision our loud. Then whenever you feel pressed to judge someone, bless them instead.

Don't use scripture to justify judgmentalism....
Luke 6:41-42 (CJB)
41 So why do you see the splinter in your brother’s eye, but not notice the log in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the splinter from your eye,’ when you yourself don’t see the log in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye; then you will see clearly, so that you can remove the splinter from your brother’s eye!
Or in worldly parlance....Clean up your own backyard!

I am wondering if you even read what you post.

And you have nothing blocking your own sight? Really?

How long have you been saved, are you still blind, or at least can you at least see a little? What good are you if you never stand up for the truth. Do you think closing your eyes makes everything go away?

Standing for the truth is NOT jumping on others for their faults. It's preaching the truth of Gods Word. Tearing down other people for their faults in nothing more than judgmentalism...It's not love, it's not truth, it's not anything they need... Show a person a better way and they'll go for it. Show them a better product and they'll want it. Stop pushing religion and start walking in LOVE
