John 1:1- the CONTEXT and Christ!

12- While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me.

WHAT was that NAME? "Lord" as in most Bibles?
And Jesus saying he and the Father was one 'proved' that he was God, according to the clergy!
Are all Jesus followers a part of 'the Godhead'?

Col 2:9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].
Col 2:10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power]. (amp)

What does the Amplified version say?
 
John 7:28- So Jesus proclaimed, as he taught in the temple, “You know me, and you know where I come from? But I have not come of my own accord; He who sent me is true,
and Him you do not know. 29- I know him, for I come from Him, and He sent me.”

And churchoids insist that God came Himself, DENYING Christ!
 
What did Christ say to the first one after he had been RESURRECTED:
John 20:17- Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God!


In summary, how was Jesus "God"?
Moses, the judges of Israel and angels were called "God". (No caps in the original language)

WHY?

Because they SPOKE ("Word") for Him!
And Jesus the Greatest Messenger ("angel') of them ALL!

He has told us as quoted here in the Book of John:

1- That previous he was in Heaven with.... GOD!
2- He was told what to say from... GOD!
3- He somehow was transferred by the spirt to become human, by... GOD!
4- He received power and encouragement from... GOD!
5- He died and was resurrected by... GOD!

Jesus did NOT leave room for doubt.
 
Only by the Holy Spirit can anyone know that Jesus Christ is God.

There is no salvation to those who do NOT know, and confess that Jesus Christ is God!

Rom 10:9 And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. (TPT)

That PROVES how you don't know Jesus at all- but are CONSTANTLY saying the opposite (anti) of Christ.....

Rev 3:12- He who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God; never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.

How many more times will he have to say he HAS a God he serves, Curtis?

I did three volunteer tours in Vietnam and I tell you that you are braver than I ever dreamed of being, YHWH will forgive you if you grow wise and repent but I would not gamble with the unknown cut-off date.

Good questions standing in need of reasoning and an answer. And when you figure it out that because Our Elohim is neither of nor is He constrained within this Time/Space Continuum you will begin to see that except for the defining description found in His Holy Scriptures everything is possible.

But, in reading YHWH's revelation of Himself we ascertain that He is three persons revealing a Single Elohim. And if we use the gift of Faith properly, we will live Eternally in His Holy presence.
 
1Jn 4:2 This is how you will be able to know whether it is God's Spirit: anyone who acknowledges that Jesus Christ came as a human being has the Spirit who comes from God.
1Jn 4:3 But anyone who denies this about Jesus does not have the Spirit from God. The spirit that he has is from the Enemy of Christ; you heard that it would come, and now it is here in the world already. (GNB)
