Let's share a testimony of praise and thanks daily

You have been blessed Brad and been a blessing to your wife and sister too.

To God be the Glory.

Hope you enjoy the fruits of your labour, I can almost smell the rhubarb crumble and custard.

May the good order bless you all.

The Lord blessed me with a lot of good things today, and I am very thankful. The herbs I have planted for healing of the body have sprung up recently, and it seems to be a banner year for them. I was able to weed my strawberry patch, weed the raised beds that have been so successful this year, open up and spread about 8 bags of mulch (and weeded the area first before spreading the mulch), and plant a grape vine. And also checked up on the pumpkins I planted and the rhubarb, they are all doing well. The rhubarb is several years old but has done poorly past years, tried a new method this year and its doing much better. I made some final measurements to build a handrail for my sister from her garage to her kitchen. and also made it to the library with my wife and got a few treasures. All this in one day. Thank You Lord in all things, but I must say, I gotta love the good things better than the hard things that produce patience. LOL. Thank You Lord, You are greatly to be praised!
This is where it is at!

Directly, God is invisible to most of us but ,indirectly, He is everywhere.

He is Omnipotent and everywhere at the same time!

He is the maker of EVERTHING and He is in everything , NOTHING exists without
Him.

He is in me and I am in Him, like the tree, grass , air and everything else!

If only we could see Him in just the small things!

Thanks Brad!

I thank God for His mercy and His grace. For His faithfulness and longsuffering, His patience and the surety of His promises. I thank Him for His word, and for the power that He has towards all that believe, For the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.I thank Him too, for His wisdom, and for the Holy Spirit, Who searched the mind of the spirit within us, and is able to pray for us, according to the will of God, for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought. I thank Him that He knows our needs and that He is able to strengthen us by His Spirit in our inner man.

Thank Him that His love never faileth, and that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

Praise His Holy Name!

Love that song for worshiping at home or in the vehicle. But like many songs, I add in a word here and there as my spirit moves me, in this one, I say....

"Blessed be Your name O Lord, blessed be Your glorious name, Jesus......", I figure since the name is so blessed, it should be said as I sing it in worship. And you complete, helped to add a mini worship session while here at the computer, bless you also.

Dear Heavenly Father,
God of all grace, and all comfort
God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Thank you for your wisdom and your lovingkindness
Thank you for treating us as your children
For chastening us when we have needed it,
Forgiving us our trespasses, and delivered us from all evil.
For testing us and trying the reins of our hearts,
For washing us by your word, from the influences of world.
For drawing us with cords of love, and binding us to you.
In Christ Jesus our Lord and Saviour,
Now risen and glorified
and sat at your right hand
Thank you

Thank you Lord,
For poppies and meadow grass,
For hills and valleys.
For rivers and lakes,
For the sea and all it's creatures.
For the sky and all that fly therein,
For light without which we would never see,
The glory of the rising sun, or it's going down.
For our senses, which enable us to hear and see, and smell and taste,
For the earth beneath our feet, and all that lives within and on it.
Thank you, Lord.

Thank you, Lord,
For your promise made to Noah, and al living
That you would never destroy the earth with water again,
Thank you for the rainbow that betokens that promise.
With it's colours , red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet,
Visible after rain in every clime,
that all may see and remember,
and know that you are there,
and that you care.
(Genesis 9)

Bless you sister

Every morning I open the curtains in the bedroom and look at the garden and say another prayer,

Heavenly and most loving Father, we thank you for this new day you have created (regardless of the weather)

We give you thanks and praise for the birds, the bees, the flowers and the trees,

We praise you for all creation, and for the wild life you make available for us to freely enjoy.

We praise you for the colours of the flowers, their foliage, for the trees, shrubs.

We thank you for each plant and the food they provide for man, and for the animals and birds.

But most of all, we thank you Lord for taking time, to hear our prayers today.

In Jesus most precious Name we pray

Amen

Morning has broken, like the first morning... This IS the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another
in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.'

Hello there,

I have just read through the entries on pages 1-3 of this thread, and intend to read on when I have time: but I just want to say a 'thank you' to all of you (listed above) for taking part on those pages, for each response was such a blessing to read. To see the mutual love and grace which passed between you, and hear the individual praise and thanksgiving going forth to God, with each testimony expressed. I played the video clips shared as I progressed, and have found the whole experience both uplifting and chastening.

Thank you:love:
In Christ Jesus

Thank you, Lord, for today and for all my days, for every lesson and blessing along the way, and for everybody you sent my way. Help me, oh Lord, to walk in your path each and every day, every step along the way, for when I am in YOUR WAY there is nothing that can lead me astray or take me away. In your precious name, Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen.:blush::love:

'For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways My ways, saith the LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are My ways higher than your ways,
and My thoughts than your thoughts.
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven,
and returneth not thither,
but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud,
that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
So shall My word be that goeth forth out of My mouth:
it shall not return unto me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.'

(Isa 55:8-11)

Hello again,

When I looked over my previous entry, I saw that @Bro Bear's name was not showing up 'green' like the others, for I had missed the space between the dot after 'Br' and 'Bear'. Just a little thing, but it made the difference between my 'Thank You' reaching him, and not. This reminded me of how important every word and detail is in God's Word, and how we can make it of none-effect by not quoting it correctly and taking it out of it's context.

Praise God! - For His Word, both Written and Living.

'And the man bowed down his head,
and worshipped the LORD.
And he said,
"Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham,
Who hath not left destitute my master of His mercy and His truth:
I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.'
(Gen 24:26-27)

Hi @Jerryfrom Mass,

Your words reminded me of Eliezer, Abraham's steward, who was, ' ... in the way ...', doing his masters will, and so God was able to use him.

Praise God!

He is Risen, Praise the Lord

Many, O LORD my God,
are Thy wonderful works which Thou hast done,
and Thy thoughts which are to us-ward:
they cannot be reckoned up in order unto Thee:
if I would declare and speak of them,
they are more than can be numbered.

Psalm 40:5

Thank you, @Br. Bear,

What a lovely quotation this is! The words, 'Many', ... 'are' ...' Thy thoughts which are to us-ward'': brought to my mind another verse where the word, 'to us-ward' is found, and in looking it up, I found another, both of which I will quote because they are equally a blessing when read within their context:-

'And what is the exceeding greatness of His power to us-ward who believe,
according to the working of His mighty power, Which He wrought in Christ,
when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenly places,'

(Ephesians 1:19 )

'The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering
to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.'
(2 Peter 3:9)

'Longsuffering' - towards 'us-ward' as mankind: and 'the exceeding greatness of His power', to 'us-ward' who believe.

Praise God!

How wonderful these glimpses of God are, aren't they?

With love in Christ Jesus
Chris
