Let's share a testimony of praise and thanks daily

'Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience,
and our bodies washed with pure water.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;
( for He is faithful that promised )'
(Heb 10:22-23)

Praise God!

'For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish,
disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures,
living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done,
but according to His mercy He saved us,
by the washing of regeneration,
and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by His grace,
we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.'
(Tit 3:3-7)

Thank you, Lord,

For the finding of the journal within my bedside drawer, and, reading it, discovering evidence of the assurance I had gained, through reading your Word, and discovering the sure nature of your promises, and the completeness of your finished work in Christ Jesus. Finding the peace and stillness of a heart at rest in the sure knowledge of your faithfulness, and the promise of an eternity filled with your loving kindness and grace.

Thank you, Lord.

Thankful for victory in Jesus Christ.

And also my daughter was sick over the weekend and doing much better. Very happy about that.

'For the LORD God is a sun and shield:
the LORD will give grace and glory:
no good thing will He withhold
from them that walk uprightly.
O LORD of hosts,
blessed is the man that trusteth in Thee. '
(Psalm 84:11-12)

'O ye Corinthians,
our mouth is open unto you,
our heart is enlarged.
Ye are not straitened in us,
but ye are straitened in your own bowels. (ie., their affection)
Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,)
be ye also enlarged.'
(2 Corinthians-6:11-13)

Hello there,

What a plea this is by Paul to believers at Corinthian, isn't it? That they would open up their hearts to himself and those with him: for his heart, and the hearts of his co-workers, in Christ, were enlarged towards the believers at Corinth. Their mouths were open, and the ministry of Christ was pouring out in love and grace towards these believers. Yet it would appear that it was not being reciprocated, their hearers hearts ('bowels' - or the seat of their affections) were constrained, and they were not able to respond in kind.

May this not be true of us.

Praise God!

That His word is sharper than a two edged sword, separating soul and spirit, and discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart. That He sees and knows all things, that there is nothing that is not open to His sight.

'For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh:
and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.'
(Gal 5:17)

Hello again,

My sister and I are sisters both in the flesh and in spirit, and we have learned from experience the truth contained in the verse above. For we meet together once a week to catch up with each others lives, and to have fellowship with each other. These times are precious to us, reading the word of God together, and sharing what we have learned throughout the week. Yet we find that we have to be on our guard, for the flesh within us both will seek to prevent or mar the fellowship we have in the spirit. It has sought to divide us, by bringing in adverse feelings, strife and even sibling rivalry! Anything to disrupt our time of fellowship with each other in the Lord.

We pray before we meet that the Lord will give love and grace, and He does, for though the flesh manifests itself every time, He has enabled us to see it for what it is, and instead of achieving the disruption it seeks, it becomes a source of rejoicing for us, as we realise that it will not succeed . For He that is in us, is stronger than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Praise His Holy Name!

'But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world,
and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment
let us be therewith content.'

My daughter had vacation Bible School this week, her first one. Not only gave me a couple hours free time for five evenings straight, but a very nice 6 year anniversary dinner on Friday night with my husband(anniversary tomorrow, but he works thirds).

My three year old daughter ran up to me and yelled, "I am a treasure!" It melted my heart and really made my evening Thursday. She had a lot of fun this week.

I've been having some mental health concerns going on this week and may need to go talk with someone about things. But I am so grateful to God that He is still working. I have a lot to be thankful for. I am grateful at this young age my daughter know how loved she is by God. And had a little alone time with my son too in the evenings, so that was nice.

My son turned one last week. It is a blessing, because I can take him to the daycare/preschool with me now. It was the only thing holding me back from working more, because hubby works thirds/sleeps during the day. It is actually good for me and the kids to be there, and it is Christian based, so I get to speak life into a lot of kids from 1 to 5 years old. We have a lot of school ages kids for summer also up to third grade. It is a blessing to be able to assist here and be able to share the love of Christ to them. I get anxiety when I have too much free time, so I am grateful to be working longer days now. Things just always work out perfectly as God's child, and love that.

Praise the Lord!

How comforting it is to know that our Salvation is sealed by the Lord.

That His righteousness covers us

Our past can no longer condemn us when we belong to Him

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name.
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
Psalm 103:1-4

Thankful for a new school year! I work at a Christian preschool 1-5 year olds. It is a blessing bringing my kids too. I pray that we can help bring these kids a good foundation in Christ Jesus before public school.

'For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life.
For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through Him might be saved.
He that believeth on Him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because He hath not believed
in the name of the only begotten Son of God.'
(Joh 3:16-18)

Psalm 4:
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness, thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me and hear my prayer. O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the Lord will hear when I call unto him. Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. There be many that say, Who will shew us any good? Lord, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us. Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

Praise ye the Lord!

'And He said unto me,
"My grace is sufficient for thee:
for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
"
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities,
in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake:
for when I am weak, then am I strong.'
(2 Cor. 12:9-10)

* May this same spirit be ours when adversity comes our way.

* Praise God for His mercy and His grace, and His great love

' In every thing give thanks:
for this is the will of God
in Christ Jesus
concerning you.'
(1Thess. 5:18)

I praise God for a long retrospective view, achieved by simply living each day, and getting older. For I am able to see how the Lord has been with me, even in the times when I was least aware of Him. We are in His hands, and that to bless.

Praise God!

Hello @Fragrant Grace,

I praise God for the wonder of His provision that I have witness throughout the years, not only for myself, but also in regard to my elder sister, for Whom He has shown Himself strong to save, and strong to deliver, and a very present help in time of trouble. She has only in the last few years been a widow, and has found the loneliness very hard to bear, while enduring pain and physical discomfort and diagnoses which have proved to be wrong on so many occasions, which has resulted in her relying on pain management with no prospect of medical intervention to relieve her situation. Yet through it all the Lord has, each day, given her the means to overcome, and the ability to rejoice and give thanks. She has flourished in her knowledge of God, through the reading of Scripture, and has a living testimony of an experiential knowledge, which has strengthened her faith, and brought us both joy, which has issued forth in praise to Him, Who loved us and gave Himself for us.

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris
