Let's share a testimony of praise and thanks daily

You had a strong man (angelic) watching over the house, how often they help us, and some strong man's cannot be bound.

Mark 3:27
No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

This morning I would like to thank the Lord for Talk Jesus and for our dear brother Chad.

I have been a member for nearly ten years now and continue to find blessing and spiritual encouragement here.
Many times an inspired word from a Christian brother or sister here have proved to be timely help and guidance.

So thank You Lord for this wonderful site
And thank you bless you brother @Chad for all your faithful commitment and administration here.
And thanks and blessings to all the members and moderating team whose contributions can unknowingly touch souls near and far.

So shall My word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11

Greetings,

I'd like to share in my praise to the LORD for all He is doing in my life, for what He has done which is finished and for what He continues to do in and for me each day. Also My praise to the LORD for all He is doing in each member of my family; His faithfulness towards each one of us is both seen and unseen as He works His work in us, finishing that which He started. What confidence we can have in Him, even when we might loose confidence in ourselves and each other from time to time. The LORD never slumbers nor sleeps and is truly our Shepherd.
My praise also for all He is doing in the lives of each and every member of His family, of which I am grateful to be a member of, and for what He has already done, giving His life a ransom, while we all were yet sinners, that we might be saved.

Thank you Jesus... bless the LORD O my soul... You are altogether lovely... praise and honour and glory and dominion and power be unto You and You alone!!!

Bless you all ....><>

My wife was very sad today due to some bad news about her sister. But just before she went to bed, she smiled a genuine smile and kissed me, I saw joy on her face, and peace. And I thank the Lord that my wife can find joy amidst the turmoils in life and the lives of those we love.

I'd like to praise the LORD for the fact that even though I am as close to useless as a man can get and mess up constantly that He still loves me and that His assures me that His love for others i upset is unfailing and that He does and will work all things together for good for them.

Thank you Jesus.

Jesus said:

Joh 14:1-3 KJV ¶ Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Thank You, Lord, for the assurance that You give me that this world is not my home. Increasingly I want to go Home, but not before You're ready for me. And I thank You that as long as I'm here, I can redeem the time to get my affairs in order so I'm ready to go when You call for me.

Isa 25:1 ¶ O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

Jer 10:6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

How often do we jump in our cars and zip off somewhere?
Yesterday I travelled with the children....only around a 130 km round trip.
Its bendy, hilly roads from the coastal area we live to get the the suburban Adelaide area
There are some wild Australian drivers that hit those roads:angry: and always the risk of hitting a kangaroo.

Today I would like to thank the Lord for His journeying mercies
Our ability to travel is so taken for granted
Our richness in owning a vehicle is often negated with the want for something bigger and better

Also I am thankful that I dont have to walk 5+miles to a water supply daily like so many people in the third world do.

Thank You Jesus
Praise the Lord!

O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 107:1

I praise You Lord.

There is none as holy as You, Lord: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like You, our God. 1 Sam 2:2 KJV

Thank You for the air You have given me to breathe today, Father, and for the food You provided today. Thank You for my health and all the benefits You give me that I tend to take for granted.

Today as most days of the week, I was heading to work :-)
There is a stretch of road that runs along a railroad track. Sometimes on the other side of the road (two lanes) there will be people walking heading towards town. There is no actual sidewalk by which to walk, but enough room that cars and those walking don't have to worry about being run over or hitting someone! Thank God for that!

Anyway, there are times that I feel moved to stop and ask a person if they need a lift. Other times traffic doesn't allow one to by the time you see the person walking. Well, this morning there was enough time. I could see far enough ahead that cars just kept passing him by while he was walking with a cell phone in his hand. Burly young man, being that he was black, which in many countries doesn't mean much, but in the US it has a tendency to make folks fearful. Even by other black folks. Fearful enough that in many cases, too many if you ask me, won't stop to help them or anyone, even if they were to see them in distress.

Well, thank the Lord this young man wasn't in distress. Just a young man full of life! So, feeling the spirit move within me. I had enough time to stop and roll down the window to ask him if he needed a ride. The young man looking a bit surprised said yes. Don't know if he was surprised because I was old & white looking or just the fact that I stopped! :-) I moved my bible from the front seat, along with a box of tissues I carry there as well. No I don't do a lot of crying while I drive ;) Just do a lot of blowing my nose! :-)

He noticed what I had done, while getting in, but didn't say anything. I asked where he was going and he said work, but there was a convenience store up head which was about 4 miles away, and that he would appreciate being dropped off there. I told him no problem. While he was getting his seat belt on, I asked him if he minded if I were to continue to listen to a sermon I was listening to on the radio. He said "no problem". Not really giving any indication if he did mind or not.

We made small talk, with me the initiator of cause :-) The miles went too quickly, so as I dropped him off. As he was getting out he thanked me. Looking at each other eye to eye. I said I hope he had a blessed day and we shook hands. While still holding his hand I told him that even more so than a blessed day, if he really wanted to have a good day. I said "If you don't know Jesus Christ as your Savior, then you should make it a point to do so and have Him in your life. I hope you do."

After saying this. Looking at his face. A transformation took place. Before he was just one healthy young man off to work. The next a smile which was one of the most beautiful smiles I've ever seen. Took over his whole face. Holding my hand with a grip that I could tell could crumble stones if he had wanted to. Told me that he couldn't wait to tell his father about me and what I had just said to him!

As he left, and I pulled away from the convenience store I just felt in my spirit that his father had been talking to him about that very thing! Our Lord and Savior, Jesus!

God has a way of having people hear what they need to hear. Sometimes from the most unexpected sources! Thank-you Father God for allowing me to be a small unworthy vessel in your work. To Your Glory my God! Alleluia!

Thank-you all for allowing me to share! Sister Fragrant Grace don't you ever doubt that starting this thread and whether anyone would respond to it. I truly hope those fears have been allayed. No matter how dark the days may get in this world. Just remember that God will do His most powerful works during the most trying of circumstances. Even if we don't see or hear about them all. Rest assured that it's happening and these that you have blessed here at TJ by allowing to share the Spirits movement in our lives, is counted a joy! Yet, they remain only the tip of the iceberg of the Glorious Work being done around the World! So, blessings to you Dear Sister and continue to shed the light that is within you, that all may see Our Lord and Savior Jesus that continues to work in and through you!!

With the Love of Jesus Christ.

Thank you, Nick. That encouraged my heart.

And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
Acts 9:18

Today I would like to thank the Lord for our amazing eyes and the blessing of eyesight.
It is something we take so much for granted as we behold gloious sunrises, beautiful flowers, our dear children and the wonders of creation.

Whilst thanking the Lord for our vision.....lets remember the millions in the world afflicted with diseases that affect eyes.

Also for my husband, who has very poor deteriorating vision.....please pray that his sight may be restored.

Thank You Jesus
Praise the Lord!

People at work will probably see me as a bit too worried about cleanliness of the work area. But they dont see my workshop at home or my computer room, and see that I can get so sloppy that sometimes it causes problems, and today I am blessed to be caught up in bills, calls, and other things like fixing carpet problems, cleaning the shower, tightening the kitchen doorknob, replacing a light bulb. They are all minor things, but I have a tendency to put off minor things, and I am thankful to be caught up! Thank You Lord for giving me the mind to get these things done. I am so caught up, that I decided to dry some pineapple slices for snacks later. God is good!!

Hi every one, I was out for rural evangelism since early hours of TUESDAY and just returned home late Wednesday night. I went to share some printed materials to others. In the villages that we went, there is no electricity or Internet services,so it was had for me to check or post any message,

People were so receptive to the gospel and ask for more visit. I plan to show them the JESUS film in my next visit as they have never seen it before. I will rent a projector and take it there.

33 people accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior. PTL.

Please join with me to pray for these new Christians. There is no single Church there.

Sam.

I, too, would like to praise the LORD, and do, that I can see, albeit dimly and that He is watching over me, even when I am asleep.

Thank you Jesus

{A Song of degrees.} I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:
He that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, He that keepeth Israel
shall neither slumber
nor sleep.
The LORD is thy keeper:
the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Psalm 121
