Let's share a testimony of praise and thanks daily

There are so many scriptures which tell us to rejoice, even in our suffering, and even when we are being mistreated and persecuted. It is a hard thing to do sometimes, I admit, but it is not impossible, because we don’t do it in our own willpower and strength, but in the power and strength of the Lord!

I can tell you that, even if you are going through some very difficult times, it is enormously healing to just sing songs of praise and thanksgiving to God. It has a way of lifting our spirits, and pulling us out of the pit of depression, and giving us new hope and healing, and renewing God’s purpose within us.

Amen, sister. More than once the Lord has encouraged me just that way in the midst of a terrible time when I've listened to the song "You Raise Me Up" on YouTube. When I think of myself as a little girl being held by her Heavenly Father on His shoulders (figuratively), I'm reminded that I am completely secure and I praise Him for it.

Christ, by highest heaven adored,
Christ, the everlasting lord
Late in time behold Him come,
Off-spring of a Virgin's womb
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see,
Hail, the incarnate deity
Pleased as Man with men to dwell,
Jesus, our Emmanuel.
Hark! the herald angels sing,
Glory to the New-born king

Thank You Jesus for your birth......Hallelujah What a Saviour!

She okay brother?
Been a wreck or two in my life and seen quite a few other ones.
It's after a day or two that you realize the shock of it all has upon you mindset and body.

Will keep her in prayer brother!

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

I am guessing she will be more sore than usual tomorrow. But she felt good enough to go visit her sister tonight, I drove my truck since her car is in the shop, not currently drivable.

I thank the Lord that he is patient with us, and that he helps us to grow in him, and learn from him, and that he teaches us so much that we need to know about life, love, humility, fellowship, relationships and communications, etc. I am thankful that he walks me through my circumstances every day, and that he teaches me where I need to grow, and where I need to change, etc. I guess what I am trying to say is that I praise him for the Christian walk and that we even have that opportunity to mature and to not stagnate. I am so glad he didn't leave me where I was years ago, but that he brought me out from under some things which were overwhelming me, and he turned my life around, and he even gave me a ministry for his honor and praise, even though I was so undeserving of his love and grace. He is awesome!

I praise the Lord for the quiet time I got to sleep in, after the barking was taken care of (dog wanting to go out to take care of business) around midnight and the cat demanding at 3am that I fill up the food bowl. Then it was restful sleep. Got to be responsible for those entrusted to us, but seek the rest of the Lord as well.

I will both lay me down in peace and sleep for Thou Lord only makest me dwell in safety
Psalm 4:8

Thank you @Lanolin and @Brad Huber for sharing your thanks and praise regarding rest.

Thank You Lord for the days off I have had over Christmas, for fun time with my dear children without the hustle and bustle of work.

Thank You Lord that we, the brothers ans sisters at Talk Jesus can lay in peace to sleep in our comfortable beds within our "luxurious" modern homes

No room for the baby at Bethlehem's Inn,
Only cattle shed,
No home on this earth for the dear Son of God,
Nowhere to lay His head.
Only a cross did they give to our Lord,
Only a borrowed tomb,
Today He is seeking a place in your heart,
Will you say to Him "No room"? *

Thank You Lord for keeping us all in Your love peace and safety over the past year.

And as this year draws to an end may we all keep looking to Jesus as we step into 2018

Praise the Lord!

Lord, for the years Your love has kept and guided,
Urged and inspired us, cheered us in our way,
Sought us and saved us, pardoned and provided:
Lord of the years, we bring our thanks today.

Lord, of our world where men disown and doubt You,
Loveless in strength, and comfortless in pain,
Hungry and helpless, lost indeed without You;
Lord of the world, we pray that Christ may reign.

Lord, of ourselves, in living power remake us
Self on the cross and Christ upon the throne,
Past put behind us, for the future take us;
Lord of our lives, to live for Christ alone.

Yes Lord amen!!

I am thankful to be able to grow apple tree seedlings from some seeds last fall. I just planted them a couple of days ago, right beside my computer in front of my window to the world. I have grown other types of seedlings before there with some success, but this is my first try with apple seeds. I cut down 3 of my 6 apple trees late last fall after there has been no fruit on them for over 3 years. They are dwarf apple trees. My newest apple tree purchase was a columnar apple tree (nearly no branches at all), and I got 2 apples off it the 2nd year, which is good for its small size (nearly 3 foot tall, sorta like a branch sticking out of the ground). They take up less space and I have less than an acre total including my house space and my outbuildings spaces (3 of them, metal storage shed, chicken coop, and workshop). I love to grow things and I thank the Lord He gives me these outlets to grow good productive plants for my little space here. The Lord is Good!

That is wonderful that you have that gift. That one passed me up. :) I finally found one plant that could survive me. I only have to water it once a week and it takes care of itself otherwise. I don't even know the names of plants, for the most part.

I am thankful that we lived to see another year, by God's grace. I look forward with great expectation to the marvelous things God is going to do this year in and through each one of us for his purposes, and for his glory, and in his power and strength within us, for we cannot do it without him. I pray he gives each and everyone of us wisdom and understanding of his will for our lives, and that we would all walk in his love and in his grace forever. I love you all in Jesus! So glad that we have one another.

I thank and praise the Lord for my dear little 3 year old sons health
He has been very poorly for a few days with tonsilitis.
He is on the road to recovery now!

It has been such a blessed assurance to know and feel the Lord's presence and comfort easing away the fear and anxiety that seeps into a mummy's heart when a little one is unwell.

Praise the Lord!

O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
Psalm 136:1
