Celebrating God and declaring a Holy Day are not the same thing

Liberalization of the Scripture. Who is man to attempt to make a Holy Day of His birth when His Father did not

Why do you speak words not found in scripture? Isnt that against God's word? That sounds like your logic.

Did God make all the days of the week? Isnt God Holy ? Every day , we should be praising our God. But He only asks that we keep one day Holy ( per week )

Why object if others wish to Praise God for the birth of the Savior , or the Resurrection of the Savior.

Yes, God's moral law written on stone tablets was given to Israel. Israel was to be a beacon to the rest of the nations, shining a light from their city on a hill so that the nations outside of Israel would also come to see that there is a God unto salvation. And even though the God of salvation would be evident by the light in Israel, it is the ONE TRUE GOD of the universe.

There is nothing wrong with not celebrating the birth of Jesus on the 25th. But you werent able to answer my question, were you? There is NOTHING wrong with celebrating the birth of Christ, who is at least MY savior. I dont know the exact date of His birth, but it doesnt matter. Why do i speak words not found in Scripture ? well many of our words are new. Cars. computers. banks you get the idea. Most likely kinda the same reason we use punctuations in todays language. If you choose not to accept there is a difference between common language and establishing a man made Holy Day that is not my problem.

I heard a pastor give a testimony that when he first became a Christian as a young person, he had said he would not smoke weed on Sundays, because this was the Lord's Day. It took him a long time to mature before he treated every day the same way.

I think it can seem hypocritical sometimes to choose to do one thing when something else is similar. But sometimes that is where we are in our walk with God and that is okay... We are saved in Christ Jesus. I think it is way more important to not do what we know is wrong and have no question in our brains about it. But I do believe in praying without ceasing and just being aware of things that may not be beneficial to do as Christians.

While I do not think celebrating with a Christmas tree can open demonic doors, I really believe Halloween can. At least it makes evil look innocent.

Jesus Christ came into this world because 'we' needed a Savior. That Savior was Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

His coming was prophesied in book of Isaiah and fullfilled in Matthew.

So you have liberalized by adding in new things. Its the same logic Reba1. And by your bolded logic.... you just nullified your argument, for most of your other points. The problem with the Pharisees is they honored the law over people. They looked down on people when others didn't live by it. People can choose certain things for God and still not be a pharisee... It depends on if someone has religion over relationship. The Pharisees didn't have relationship. They had religion.

That is one reason why I said it can seem hypocritical. Only God knows the heart of an individual and their motives for what they do. Praying about things about clarity and searching the Word for answers draws us closer to Him.
