Please help me understand DECEPTION & the Deciever

You're welcome. If only more women would laugh at that. Remember, your french fries are HER french fries.
Yes, but never the other way around!!! :) Which reminds me of a story my brother-in-law told me years after I married his sister.
My wife's older brother when they were growing up tried to take some fries from her plate and was rewarded with her fork in the back of his hand!!! He still carries the scar from it!!!

Here's how it went down. Both were hungry and Adam was being lazy after a "hard" day of ruling over all the animals in Eden and "keeping it". Since God knew about but hadn't invented Uber Eats or Delivery, he sent her. Both were at fault.

Animals, huh?

I Wonder, when the heart is sick and the air goes bad, will the helpless simply be slaughtered as history has recoreded time and time again?

Honestly now.

Iniquity.. was it?

I find that ALL deception is self induced. Going back to the garden event the most marked change is the change in perception that takes place. God at His volition and choice brings all the animals before Adam and has Adam create the names and assign them to all of the animals. This event is remarkable in implication. God, is in the permitting of this process, encouraging and blessing Adams's perception and his expression, further implying a blessing conferred on all art in the heart and in the eyes of Adam. A few verses later that perception and those eyes would radically change. Adam and Eve suddenly become naked. They have always been but now they have an understanding outside of grace, outside of mercy, outside of Faith. Because they are now relying on discretion and a defining of things by a different kind of detail assessment. The orientation, the place they both viewed things from has changed, their perspective is outside of the embrace of The Spirit of God.
It is interesting that Rabbinical scholars don't hold the word eat in regards to the fruit in the same definition as the English translation. Many Biblical scholars see the problem as disobedience. But the Rabbis place this as a relationship matter. They consider this word eat as an incorporation into the person, as what becomes of food in the body once eaten. Rabbis see the issue as a relationship incorporation like a wife to know her husband and a husband to know his wife. A sexual kind of knowing. A union and a displacement of Adam and Eve in their relationship to God. An Interesting point sin from that point forward had an implication of adulterous conduct towards God. Christianity is relationship and failing that embrace has dire consequences for everyone on earth.

That old nature still exists and is ever present with us.
I believe Brother Paul had a lot to say on the subject.
We will have that sin nature till we die.
Greetings in the Lord,
@lentz go read Romans chapter 6
then perhaps we will talk some more.
All praise, glory and honor be unto God. Amen

Greetings in the Lord,
I did through those scriptures.
Do you understand the chapter?
Can you receive it?
Perhaps now go check out Romans 8:1-14
Perhaps we can talk again.
All praise glory and honor be unto God. Amen

You went straight from 6 to 8.
Why did you leave out 7? Because it would ruin your theory?
Also,Romans 8:1b was not put in by mistake as you undoubtedly believe.

Greetings in the Lord,
The Word of God is no theory.
I have given you nothing but the written Word of God, and you call it my theory.
You either receive the Word, or you don't.
How can you, who is saved, born again, you say, enter into heaven a sinner?
Do you know what condemns you?
Go read John 3:17-20.

Perhaps we can talk again.
All praise glory and honor be unto God. Amen

Nah, you’re just another once saved always saved theorist.
You don’t understand enough about it to discuss the subject.

Greetings in the Lord,
As I live, move and breath, have my very being, I do so unto God.
For He is in me, and I am in Him, and we go unto the Father.
It is not I that lives, but Christ in me.
You will not receive me, for you have not received Him who sent me.
I perceive you are very proud, set in your ways, and follow the traditions of men.
So as you have believed, so be it unto you.
All praise glory and honor be unto God. Amen

No one sent you, but you yourself.
You think too highly of yourself. I think you need the lesson in pride.
Good day

No sir, for I am not worthy to loose His shoes.

All praise glory and honor be unto God. Amen

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.

All praise glory and honor be unto God. Amen

Greetings in the Lord, @lentz
Do not be deceived...
Do you know...all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God?
Do you know...when you fell to your knees at the cross, crying out Abba Father, you died in Christ on the cross?
Do you know...now dead in Him, with Him, His blood dripped down upon you, covering your sins, blotting them out and remembered no more?
Do you know...when you rose up, out of the dirt, you are raised up in Him, resurrected a new creation; in Him, by Him, for Him?

Christ didn't only cover past sin; His blood on you covers past, present and future.
I do not say, go and keep sinning, that grace may abound. God forbid. One that continues to do this will come to know what it means to fear the Lord.
But, put on Christ; taking with you the helmet of salvation, your shield of faith, your breastplate of righteousness, your loins girth about with truth, your feet shoed with preparation of the Gospel, and the sword of the Spirit.

You see, for some, the old man is passed away, and indeed has been reborn a new creation in Christ the Lord.
My life, your life, (a believers life) is not their own anymore; for it belongs to God.
In Him, by Him, for Him, we now live, move and breath, have our very being.
I, we, (every believer) are entwined in Him, by Him, for Him; one Spirit, one flesh. He is not separate from us anymore, but we have been made one in Him, and with each other; the spirit baring witness in the Spirit.
He has not only baptized us in the Holy Ghost; but also sent another Comforter, called the Spirit of truth.
This Spirit is how a true follower (believer in Christ) knows when to listen, or cast it away. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
Yes, by our spoken words, one knows what we are, and who we belong to.

I pray God lift the dark veil and give you understanding in this matter.

All praise glory and honor be unto God. Amen
