Shocking Youth Message Stuns Hearers

AMEN!!! Thankyou LORD, for this website & for your messangers, & for letting me get the message.

And thanks chad for not writting me off

Video

Permotheus are you saying that this preacher has died? I have never heard about him until Chad sent this video to all of us. It has got us really talking together which I think is great. It makes us think where we are standing in our faith.

Chad, could you tell us a bit more about the background of this preacher, I don't know anything about him.

I think there will be others who rise up in this time, with the power of the Holy Spirit, to try to guide people to follow Christ in a big and powerful way. The world needs it so badly right now.

Veda...

He was not saying he died physically, but was referring to the Scripture below.

Romans 6:8
Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.

Romans 7:4
Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.

I never heard of Paul Washer until I saw the video yesterday. This is his bio:

I haven't watched the clip yet, but I took your e-mail the same way as cnkale80. Your comments above come across pretty harsh also.

But if you come across as agressive as you did with your reply....you will turn non-believers away more often than not. Bible thumping (not saying you do this) or in your face type of witnessing mostly reinforces the beliefs of non-believer's that Christians are "fanatics". Before I was saved, getting in my face about God did nothing more than turn me off and make me less open minded to the possiblilty there was/is a God. To be honest...I still don't like Bible thumpers as they don't seem open to discussion. You grab more peoples' attention and convert more people with a less aggressive approach.

Actually, you will get a non-believer curious about God if you do something for them that they consider out of the ordinary...like going out of your way to help someone that doesn't expect it, than getting in someone's face and preaching to them. Eventually, they will wonder why you are doing whatever act and then you explain that you are doing God's work and how you were saved.

Just my opinion, but I've found it to be a much better approach than what I call "aggressive witnessing".

I have broken into some crowds that I would have no chance at with just preaching to them. I have a cross with the words "With God all things are possible" tattoo'd on my right arm. You will be amazed how many people come up to me and ask about it. Something as simple as a tattoo opened the door to me witnessing to a group of bikers. Since I have a tattoo (only the one) and a beard, I was one of them in a way....not some straight laced Christian geek that wanted to convert them. Funny how God works......

I will check out the clip tomorrow when I have an hour to spare and I'm not bashing you....just giving my opinion.

In Him,
Randy

Listen to yourself...."You grab more peoples' attention and convert more people with a less aggressive approach."We are to spread the Word,The News,Christ crucified,it is GOD who converts! Not one man on earth has ever converted a soul!ONLY GOD convicts the heart of man!If the Truth convicts them and turns them away, that's between them and God,not the messenger!Christ did not come to spread peace,He came to convict the heart of man with TRUTH and they killed HIM for it,because of the very same pride that turns men away from Truth.Christ didn't ask the men about to stone the woman if He could "share with them".HE wrote their sin plainly before their eyes!I'll stake my life on it that that convicted them! There was no discussion! The Truth is the Truth is the Truth, needs no explanation, needs no interpretation! Here's the Truth, take it or leave it.We must always remember we are to spread the Truth, period,it is God who converts, thru the Holy Spirit which speaks directly to our soul.I question the true repentance of the hearts of most people who "answer the stage call" at most "revivals".Is it sensationalism over a sensational performance by the "pastor",or is it true repentance in thier hearts!Even after this mans "sermon" I wonder how many kids just fallowed the croud because it was sensational?I know this man would agree many just fallowed the croud! Now I wish not to end this with a sour word my brother.I ask that you search your heart and were I am wrong please forgive me.

These are some of the scripture I think this video is referring to, if any one is interested to check it out.

Matthew 7:21-23
Matthew 7:14
Romans 3:26
Romans 6:26
Romans 5:9-10
Isaiah 64:6

Sorry I haven't got more but I have to rest for now and not sure when I can get back to it. Please feel welcome to add scripture so we can all put it in our heart.

Your sister in Christ, Trishann

Thankyou for e-mailing this out, Chad. It is a very good wake-up call. I must admit, now, I feel worried - not only for myself, but for my brothers and sisters in Christ... but this is good, because it makes me think seriously about my actions...

All I can say is I agree! Huggs to you my sister in HIS name! The Holy Spirit is our teacher! Call no man teacher nor father!(in short of coarse)

Dear Chad, i watched the Message with a open heart for 1 hour, i gave it 110% attention just as you asked, After reading your email saying you were moved by the Holy Spirit to send the newsletter, i had no choice but to watch, plus for you who has never sent out such a newsletter before in the 5 years of Talk Jesus how could i not investigate further. And thank God i did. I was truly moved by the message, and the passion you had in your email that i should watch. How can i thank you more it brought me to tears and i truly question myself now and what Paul Washer told me that i believe is true. for instance when you take a look at Christianity in Europe it is based more upon a Godless culture, than it is on the word of God. Because people prayed one prayer in their life they believe they're going to heaven. I have to be honest i to have watched things i shouldn't have watched on television and so have alot of my friends in my youth group, i have talked liked the world and walked like the world but never feeling my conscience is truly clear i needed to watch this as a wake up call. Love and Peace, God Bless, Shelly

Glad to see everyone appreciating the video and preacher for telling it like it is.

The email turned out excellent and the responses great. Pass it on to everyone so you can touch their hearts with this Holy Spirit inspired preacher and message.

This thread has gotten over 2,000 views total since it was posted 24 hours ago and about 70 responses. The results are good. Let's keep pushing this to the lost and even those who claim to be Christians but live a worldly lifestyle.

wow Chad what can I say thank God for placeing on your heart to send me this email I will never look at my christian life the same way again. Note I said my from now on it's Gods way'thank you my friend God bless.

Thank you Chad for your reply. Maybe I will put this man's name into google to find out more about him. He is a brave man of God.

Chad,

Thank you for showing me this message, like others before me, I was a lil concerned about how this Christianity was displayed, which I will admit the major reason why I visited this website less and less, but I tell you now, I will try my best to change my life to follow the word of God!

Sincerely,
Red

Paul Washer

I have looked at his sites and I think he is a truly convicted man of Christ who is prepared to stand up very courageously for his faith. I see from this video and from what I read about him that he is asking us to do the same. I can see why many would not like to hear his message, it goes against human nature.

Thank you again for this Chad, I think it's so good that you passed it on and I also welcome the criticism, it means those people are watching it and thinking about it. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to hear it.

We have so much to be thankful for. Many countries don't allow a Bible. I have six different versions. I wonder how many people have taken the opportunity to read this wonderful book and I feel for the people in those countries such as North Korea etc who have no access to what we are able to access and learn about. One day soon people in the free countries are going to regret that they haven't read this most wonderful book. The best ever written.

I can't thank you enough for sharing this video! It's very powerful, and it helped me, as much as it did the rest of the people here. I remember having a similar conversation with my mother, about how the Church was full of very sleepy Christians, and as powerful as a message may be on a Saturday night, or Sunday morning it doesn't always truly wake them up, it's up to that individual to apply it to their lives, instead of just listening and agreeing. I pray that we all do that after we see this wonderful sermon, God Bless Paul Washer for his message, and you Chad for sharing this with us. This video truly blessed me!

Hi Randy,

I was interested to read your posting.

I agree that we as Christians should come over as gentle beings. We are that way but sometimes the message has to be put over in a forceful manner. It's like good parents. Most of their messages to their children are said in love and gentleness but when the parent thinks the children are in danger they speak very strongly to them in order to really show them that they are going against their will. The children don't normally like this but will later on in their lives see that it was for their good. I believe this is how our Father treats us.

I can't open any of the links :coocoo: What's the name of the Preacher anyway, so that I can try to find this video somewhere else. THX

I posted a video version, text version, audio version. They all work just fine. Try using Firefox browser (Firefox) and try again. You need the free flash plugin (download) to view the video.

His name is Paul Washer.

I even added a Youtube version to the original post.

Chad
thank you for this wonderful message. ive been absent from this site for over two years, i only posted once before. i soon as i saw i knew it was meant for me, God has been trying to speak to me for the last couple of weeks but i kept ignoring Him. i think this message applies to most of us if not all of us. we have replaced God with this "christian" culture that is killing us spiritually. we are afraid of being rejected not just by the world but by our churches. we have to realize that we are not here to please anyone but God.

Truly inspiring.

Sometimes we have to start with what truth really is, as our Lord said, He is the truth, way and life.

It shall be reminded that the devil works just exactly the opposite, to lead people away from truth, thus stray away from the way and to lose their lives.

Some said that this may not be the best way to preach to new believers, however, as for those already believed, they shall always be reminded that Christians should embrace what truth is as much as possible. Just like Paul Washer said, we can't be more sure about whether we are truly saved or not.

"Narrow Way"

Thank you for the link to a very worthwhile message. Watched it all the way through even though I did not have the time. I intend to keep a link to it for times of temptation to keep myself on the "narrow way".
