Speaking in Tongues: Required for Regeneration?.

You have to make up your mind if you are going to defend the word of God, or other people's words.
You need to do this as well.
For you are not defending the salvation once delivered to the saints but defending your own words concerning the Bible evidence of praying in tongues.

So why have you failed at doing this??
You only want to promote what the doctrines a denomination you believe, a denomination that tickled your ears. That is how God's Truth is chosen by many. If someone wants God's Truth and not some denomination's truth, then they are to go only by the scriptures.

You need to do this as well.
For you are not defending the salvation once delivered to the saints but defending your own words concerning the Bible evidence of praying in tongues.
Are you really going to claim you started speaking in tongues just after reading the Bible and obeying Jesus and not joining a denomination or doing what someone taught you?

Where do the scriptures say Abel was sent.

Give the scriptures for what you say. We can't just say Abel was sent to talk to Cain if it is not in the Bible.

By staying in context you can find the intent

Genesis 4: 6-8 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Some say Cain was upset with half brother because his mother had a a adultness' afar .the context is clear he heard the gospel and then lied that he did not know where his martyred brother was .

Abel is not mentioned 21 times because Cain saw him as a half breed. His living sacrifice had to do with unseen spiritual matters

Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.

Has this always been your beliefs or you just getting deeper in the hole?

No - and I am not alone.
Amen! Neither did I.

A friend (re)baptized me in Jesus’ name, and I came up out of the water Spirit-filled, speaking/praising in tongues.
I was actually still a registered member of a Calvinistic-Baptist church at that time that was openly cessationist in their doctrine and didn’t believe tongues were for today.

I had been fasting (which I’d never done up to that point), repenting, and praying earnestly for God to fill me with Holy Ghost the way those on the Day of Pentecost had been filled. And praise God, He filled me!

Sought out a body of truth-seeking/preaching Apostolic Pentecostal believers after that and the Lord showed me the way home! There(here) I have been every since!

The bible defines the words within . . rather than scratching the surface perhaps you might want to dig in . Perhaps you might find a pearl of great price .

A little digging never hurt any one .And remember without parables Christ the Holy Spirt spoke not .

Matthew 13:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

Are you first to deny the foundation of the teaching or doctrine of tongues found in Isaiah 28?
Geez Garee. How many times are you going to post this? Can we put it to rest?

Yes, we know that the prophet Isaiah was essentially referring to drunkards babbling....speaking God's Word incoherently. We also know that Paul, In 1 Corinthians 14:11 was likely referring back to this prophesy in correcting those in the church who were using tongues incorrectly.
However, if you look at close translation of "tongue(s)" from the two corresponding verses, you will see that two entirely different words are actually being used. The "tongue" of which Isaiah speaks, appears to be that of a foreign people....perhaps the Assyrian conquerors of Israel......while Paul uses glossolalia, which refers to the same tongues spoken by born-again believers through the Holy Spirit in the New Testament and to this day.
So we can conclude that Paul was using Isaiah's words as a teaching tool for the church at Corinth......not as a link between modern tongue-speaking and Isaiah's prophesy.

Isaiah 28 is not /was not teaching the "doctrine of tongues" as you put it. It was a warning/rebuke of the Jews and their unGodliness.

The tongues that we see in Acts and in Paul's teachings are the actually the direct fulfillment of Joel's prophesy:
"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
" - Joel 2:28-29

Peter clearly confirms this to those who were gathered in his sermon in Acts.

We know that Isaiah was speaking to the Nation of Israel. The tongues present on the Day of Pentecost were for ALL believers.....THIS was confirmed by the fact that Paul, who brought the Gospel of salvation to the Gentiles, spoke tongues, taught of tongues, and references tongues being spoken in the Gentile churches.

That was really cute, lol, but we still can't add to the scriptures. There is no scripture saying what you said.

Abel is in the Bible, and he is not called a martyr or a prophet as you called him. You can't say things about the Bible that aren't in the Bible.

You will never see one either, because they no longer exist.

Again, you demonstrate that you have very poor reading comprehension. I did not call Abel a prophet or a martyr...yet he was murdered because he was following God's rules and Cain wasn't. So, while I did not call him a martyr, yet he was according to the definition of the word. You are sorely lost, sir. And, they do exist...I said I have never met one PERSONALLY, but I have listened to a couple on videos in the past.

They all teach falseness.

You make bold claims that you cannot, and do not even try, to uphold or defend with Scripture. There is only one reason for that...you are not of God and teach spiritual darkness even when you have been deceived to believe that you are. So...according to you...you are the only one who has the correct understanding of Scripture - even when it has been demonstrated with Scripture that you don't know what you are talking about. I am surprised that they have allowed you to continue here unabated...
