The “Woke “ Jesus

Don't start.
God is a spirit and He is male. If He and Jesus are male where does it say the SpiritA common mistake made with regard to the Holy Spirit is referring to the Spirit as "it," something most translations of the Bible are careful to avoid. The Holy Spirit is a person. He has the attributes of personhood, performs the actions of persons, and has personal relationships. He has insight (1 Corinthians 2:10-11). He knows things, which requires an intellect (Romans 8:27). He has a will (1 Corinthians 12:11). He convicts of sin (John 16:8). He performs miracles (Acts 8:39). He guides (John 16:13). He intercedes between persons (Romans 8:26). He is to be obeyed (Acts 10:19-20). He can be lied to (Acts 5:3), resisted (Acts 7:51), grieved (Ephesians 4:30), blasphemed (Matthew 12:31), even insulted (Hebrews 10:29). He relates to the apostles (Acts 15:28) and to each member of the Trinity (John 16:14; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). is "neither male or female"?
Masculine terminology dominates the scriptures.
Specific names for God (e.g., Yahweh, Elohim, Adonai, Kurios, Theos, etc.) are all in the masculine gender. God is never given a feminine name or referred to using feminine pronouns.
In the New Testament, the Holy Spirit is referred to by the Greek word for "spirit" (pneuma), a gender-neutral term. In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word for "spirit" (ruach) is feminine (see Genesis 1:2). But the gender of a word in Greek or Hebrew has nothing to do with gender identity.
Paul makes it clear that Jesus was the exact image of God in Colossians 1:15 calling Jesus "the image of the invisible God."
*There is no Biblical basis for the Holy Spirit being female or neutral.
The Holy Spirit is just that Spirit.. so tell me again how r you bringing glory to YH with wanting to argue a moot point?

I've explained it using the Bible. It isn't "moot". In fact, a high majority of Christians focus on God and Jesus and the Spirit tends to take back seat in discussion.
From your initial response you made a statement "just puffed up pride seems pride gets the best of all of us at one time or another.. "
You made an assumption and by definition not based in fact or evidence.
The Bible shows how and what the Spirit is and your "suggestion" that He is genderless isn't true. It isn't a focus but the Godhead is male. Why does that upset you?
I gave you scriptural verses. You did not.

Your opinion it's a "moot point" is just that.
Your opinion I haven't is an opinion.
Twice now you have NOT given scriptural evidence to back your claim. I have.

Your second sentence is barely comprehensible.
Three times you still haven't given scriptural evidence for your stance.
No one talks like that either let a lone types like that.
You're not going to reach as many people doing that.
When someone says something that is untrue in Scripture any Christian can point it out and as I've given scriptural evidence to correct it.
Point is, Twistie, people HATE being wrong in front of others and even worse hate being corrected.
I wonder what Paul would say when you tell him he's wrong.

I know three people at this website that talk in a similar fashion. And I have no problem with it

I think we are all getting off the beaten path, and I think we need to withdraw pointing fingers at each other. Or we'll have Brother Bear coming down on us, slapping all of our wrists

Assumption and opinion with no evidence.
pride pride pride is what ur filled with.
Assumption and opinion again. You've no way to know or discern what emotions if any I have on this. I can't do it on you either. We're both just reading words and non have suggested emotional instability.

I'll type it one more time.
You didn't provide ANY scripture to back your stance. I did.
You won't understand its fruitless to discuss it with you it will just lead you into sin.. your words testify that u can not Hear not all things can be taught by man.. only Spirit can teach the Spirit you must spend time with YH and seek your answers.. your ways are not of YH..

14Remind the believers of these things, charging them before Goda to avoid quarreling over words, which succeeds only in leading the listeners to ruin.

23But reject foolish and ignorant speculation, for you know that it breeds quarreling. 24And a servant of the Lord must not be quarrelsome, but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, and forbearing. 25He must gently reprove those who oppose him, in the hope that God may grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth. 26Then they will come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, who has taken them captive to his will.

Thank you for proving the point about Mary being the spouse of God the Father
