The church is being deceived to believe in a dual natured false Messiah and they do not know!

Just how important is i

Can you know Jesus with out understanding it??

2Co 11:3 "For I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the SIMPLICITY that is in Christ."

What a question in light of the above verse. To cause doubt in the unstable and babes in Christ!!

That which is being referred to Is found in Colossians 1:26-27 "the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory, ..."

To Sue
Post #111 refer to Galatians 2:20 KJV AND ESV Translations. Per Curtis.

NKJ " I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christs lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Galations 2:20.

It kind of sounds like you're being a bit nit-picky.

Going between the three versions -- so what.

Your comment sounds fairly Rude. Not necessary at all.

Yes . Just look at the churches that teach of only the One God . Yet there is Love and Cherity .

What does Jesus say about them . " Lord when did we see you hungry , when did we see you naked " and the reply , " when you did it for the least of these, you did it for me to "

I just want to say Sue , i am proud to know you .

Sure we have our moments , but we are still brother and sister in Jesus

Tell me . If you love God and have no knowledge of the Son or Holy Spirit. What part of God are you not loving ?

What part of God is not God.

The Jews loved God . But had no knowledge of the Son.

God is eternal , so when the Word speaks , it is an eternal statement . Jesus said , no one can go to the Father but through me .

Scripture ststes , Enoch loved God , and God took him .

In Enochs love to God , he was already loving Jesus , he just didnt know it

A person Needs to know the Son of God. Being 'saved' means a person is believing that Jesus Christ is God's Son and that He died , was buried and rose again the 3rd day.

The Jews Rejected the Messiah that they were given.

There are Very few people who don't know about God -- Jesus Christ -- the Holy Spirit. It's what they Belief About Them that matters.

Jesus Christ wasn't in the picture until the New Testament.

Yes, in the Old Testament -- people Did love God. Elijah was 'taken' and was seen no more. Moses was a friend of God.

All those things are true concerning Elijah and Enoch, but our Lord Jesus makes the statement that John the Baptist was the greatest man to ever live, But he says also that the LEAST IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS GREATER THAN HE. Leaves one wondering just exactly what happened to those two that were taken.

Scripture says that they were 'taken' they were not here any more. They were taken to heaven. They were individually raptured up. God wanted them then and there.

Just, please, don't try to scrutinize the daylights out of that. Just be willing to accept what Scripture says. :)

thats a good question, but I would have to think the Holly spirit would point you to Jesus as that is his Job. And those that have the bible in front of them and do not see it and deny Christ to be God is my worry.

All we can really 'do' is share the Gospel unto salvation with people.

And, yes, That is the job of the Holy Spirit.

It's not really a point of what part of God is being loved or not. It IS regarding God's One way of salvation. A person either accepts That or they reject His way.

For some reason , people Love to try to find some way to get around God's Way of doing things. Trying to find a loop hole around God's way of salvation.

So - maybe - instead of 'worrying' about it -- share when you can and be available for God to use 'you' as He sees fit. Be a positive representative of Christ in our daily living.

The comment made concerning John the Baptist "For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink. He will also be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb. And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God. He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, .... and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." That is quoted from Luke 1:15 - 17.

And David was a man after God's own heart. And Moses was a friend of God. He stood face to face with God in the cloud.

Lets talk about before Jesus. Those Jews never knew Jesus . Infact in the writtings of Peter it says that the Rock that Moses struck , followed the Israelites around the desert. And that rock was Christ.

If the Israelites drank from the rock , then they also had faith in God

You missed the point of that statement.

For a person who is deeply in love with God . Here on the planet , is not as great as the least in Gods Kingdom. But when the one who loves God so, then dies, that person will be great in Gods Kingdom.

It matters not the amount of faith one has, if you dont have love, you will never go to Heaven

The Jewish people Rejected the birth of Jesus Christ. They Wanted a king to come 'then and there' -- Not a baby born in a manger.

Try reading the narative in Exodus or Numbers where ever it was actually taking place. God gave Moses instructions to strike the rock / Numbers 20: 8 - 12 -- Moses was told to Speak to the rock to bring forth water for the people but Moses struck it twice -- disobeying God's command.

Your comments have nothing to do with the actual incident. Of Course they drank from the water that came from the rock. They were very thirsty.

It's where a person places his/ her Faith that Does matter. Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved Through Faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, Not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Hebrews 11 -- the by faith chapter.

And then we Do have 1 Corinthians 13 and 14. spiritual gifts and love and doing things. A different subject.

The person who rejects God's way - the Only way - to salvation Won't be going to heaven. It's through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Sue please . All of scripture not just pieces.

Faith alone is like a gong clanging in the wind. ( Paul )inspired by Jesus himself

Faith alone brings us to our salvation ( who is Jesus)

And now we have to recieve Jesus . No one can go to the Father but threw me. You have to recieve Christ into your heart. And what is God . Love

Were all the Jewish people represented by the person Moses. If so what of Elijah who came after Moses. The people didnt know about Jesus as He hadn't been revealed to them
