The Lord shall refine the Church!

I occasionally post this when needed:

Believers have a responsibility to point out error and guide others towards truth as part of their commitment to love, truth, and the spiritual well-being of the community. This responsibility is rooted in the broader biblical commands to love one's neighbor, to pursue righteousness, and to be agents of reconciliation and truth in the world. Several passages throughout the New Testament underscore this aspect of Christian duty: (We are called to love one another even when we disagree. Perhaps we can take a step back and approach ALL conversation with a spirit of humility and respect. While we may have different interpretations (The Word of God is the only true Interpretation), it's important to remember that God calls us to unity and love. Let's focus on those shared values in ALL discussions.)
Through the moving and operation of the Holy Ghost, I Pray what we say here (with Scriptural backing) brings the truth of these Revelations, truth by truth, or precept upon precept, to the heart of the hearer. Lay what we say before the feet of Jesus (Word of God) and compare, the Bible is Always truth, so if they don't match, we need to reevaluate our stance. What we say or do here will have lasting impact upon the believer and sinner alike.

Galatians 6:1 (NKJV): "Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted."

This verse emphasizes the responsibility of believers to help restore those who have fallen into sin. The approach should be characterized by gentleness and self-awareness, highlighting the importance of humility and care in correcting others.

Matthew 18:15-17 (NKJV): "Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector."

Here, Jesus provides a process for addressing sin within the community, emphasizing the importance of private correction and the goal of reconciliation. It shows a structured approach to pointing out error, with the ultimate aim of restoration.

2 Timothy 4:2 (NKJV): "Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching."

Paul instructs Timothy—and by extension, all believers—to be diligent in teaching the truth of God's Word, which includes correcting errors and encouraging right living. This exhortation underscores the role of Scripture in guiding the process of correction and the need for patience and dedication in this task.
James 5:19-20 (NKJV): "Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins."

James highlights the life-saving impact of correcting error and guiding someone back to the truth. It presents the act of pointing out error as an expression of care and concern for the spiritual state of others.

with meekness and fear: The manner in which believers are to defend their faith is critically important. "Meekness" suggests gentleness and humility, indicating that our defense should not be aggressive or confrontational but characterized by the humility that comes from understanding that our faith is a gift from God. "Fear" in this context refers to a deep respect or reverence for God, reminding believers that their ultimate accountability is to Him. This respectful approach ensures that the conversation about faith honors God and respects the dignity of the person asking.

These passages collectively illustrate that believers are indeed called to lovingly and carefully address error within the community, always aiming for the restoration and spiritual health of the individual. This responsibility is carried out within the context of a commitment to truth, love, humility, and the ultimate goal of salvation. It's important that such correction is done in a spirit of gentleness, respect, and love, reflecting the character of Christ.

It sounds like you're reflecting on the importance of living out the principles of faith rather than just adhering to rules and regulations. Your concern about how some approach Scripture, merely quoting verses without genuine understanding or application, resonates with the need for heartfelt obedience and humility before God. The caution against casting pearls before swine underscores the need for discernment in sharing spiritual truths appropriately and respectfully.

Your emphasis on allowing the Lord to guide when to speak or write reflects a reliance on divine wisdom and discernment rather than relying solely on human understanding or tradition. This aligns with the belief that the Holy Spirit, the Comforter sent by Jesus, teaches and guides believers into all truth.

The idea of being "all in" for the Lord reflects a deep commitment to loving and following Him wholeheartedly. Your sadness at hearing claims that love has no bearing on salvation reflects a concern for the genuine, transformative power of God's love in our lives, which Scripture teaches as central to our faith.

The reminder that "many are called, but few are chosen" and the caution against relying on outward actions without genuine relationship with God highlights the importance of a sincere, personal faith that goes beyond mere religious observance. It's a call to humility, gratitude, and praise to the Most High, acknowledging His sovereignty and goodness in all things.

In summary, your reflection emphasizes the need for genuine faith, humility, and obedience rooted in a deep relationship with God, rather than mere adherence to religious practices or traditions. It encourages a focus on the transformative power of God's love and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all aspects of life and faith.

Chastisement is a form of correction; it is an affliction of love to clean the individual from sins. Chastisement affects the person's lifestyle from sin.

To refine an individual to do good.

We read in Malachi 3:1-3 “Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," Says the Lord of hosts. "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? He is like a refiner's fire And a launderer's soap.
He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer the Lord An offering in righteousness.

Malachi 3:1, "Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts."

From a United Pentecostal perspective, Malachi 3:1 prophesies the coming of both John the Baptist as a preparatory messenger and Jesus Christ as the Lord who will come to His temple. This passage is understood as foretelling the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, who would fulfill the covenant promises and bring salvation. It underscores the divine initiative in sending the messenger to prepare the way for God's manifestation among His people, fulfilling the longing for the Messiah.

Malachi 3:2, "But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap."

In verse 2, the imagery of refining and cleansing portrays Jesus Christ as a purifier who brings judgment and purification. United Pentecostals interpret this as highlighting the holiness and righteousness of God's judgment upon sin. The refiner's fire symbolizes the purging of impurities, while the fullers' soap signifies thorough cleansing. This verse emphasizes the need for repentance and readiness before the coming of the Lord, illustrating His role in purifying His people and preparing them for His kingdom.

Malachi 3:3, "And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness."

Verse 3 continues the theme of purification, emphasizing Jesus Christ's role as a refiner who purifies and sanctifies His people. In the United Pentecostal interpretation, this verse signifies a spiritual refinement process that believers undergo through the work of the Holy Spirit. It highlights God's desire for His people to offer worship and service in righteousness, purified from sin and dedicated to Him. This purification process is seen as essential for believers to fulfill their priestly role in offering acceptable worship and service to the Lord.

Jesus is the incarnation of the one true God. John 1:1-14 reveals that the Word, which was God, became flesh and dwelt among us as Jesus Christ. Thus, when we say that Jesus created man in the image of God, we recognize that Jesus is the visible manifestation of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). There is no distinction of persons within the Godhead, but rather a distinction between God's transcendent nature and His immanent presence in Christ.
Greetings in Christ JESUS

Sorry for my delay in answer to the your post, what I do now, and it as follow:

GOD THE FATHER - HERE'S AS I INTERPRET BY SCRIPTURES
Invisible GOD is the Word, as is written, the Word is from everlasting to everlasting, since everlasting time the Word reveals Himself as an invisible Person-John 1:18 and Hebrews 1:1-3 and 8, and the Word was made flesh around 2000 years ago according to His will since ancient time, and manifested and introduced Himself by the name of JESUS-Luke 1:31-33.

GOD SON - JESUS
GOD the Son revealed He and the Father are One, both ARE One-John 10:30. But JESUS also revealed and said: My Father is greater than I.-John 14:28. Here's JESUS Himself makes a distinction between the Father and He Himself. Both ARE One, but distinct Persons, one is greater than the other. Hebrews 1:1-3 and 8:
1 GOD who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds; 3 Who being the brightness of His glory, and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

8 But unto the Son, GOD the Father saith,Thy throne,O God,is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy Kingdom (REVELATION 11:15-18 combined with Daniel 2:44-45).

But the unknwon Person of the Holy Spirit also exists, he is not a ghost as is written English language, he is also a Person as is written in the Word of GOD, someone like Melchizedek, and is known as the Comfort, the Paraclete-John 15:26-, something like a Lawyer, but he is also a warrior, a Prince of GOD, Isaiah 63:10. The two olive trees, and the two candlesticks, are standing before the Person of the Holy Spirit, as God of the earth-Revelation 11:4. Great mystery.

In Genesis 1:16- the fourth Day, or around 4000 years after Adam,as GOD revealed to Moses, the person of the Holy Spirit appears as the lesser Light to be enlighted by the Greater Light-JESUS-, as is written in John 16:12-15 combined with John 15:26.
The assertion that only those who are born again bear the true image of God, while others remain in the image of the devil, oversimplifies the concept of humanity being created in God's image. All humans are created in God's image, but the fullness of this image is restored through new birth in Christ (John 3:3-5). Ephesians 1:3-8 emphasizes the spiritual blessings in Christ and the transformative power of being born again, but it does not negate the inherent value and image-bearing nature of all humanity.
In my understand, you need to re-estudy this your point. Our opinions are good for nothing. What matters and prevails is the Word of GOD. It is written, the testimony of GOD is greater, do you agree? The current mankind since the fallen of Adam and Eve, all born under the power of the MAN of sin, the Devil, they have the image of their father, i.e. the image of the Devil.(JESUS came to redeem and save the world taking the souls from the power of the Devil-1Corinthians 15:24-28)

How can we interpret the follow dialogue between the Jews and JESUS:? The Jews said to JESUS, such as you also say, as follow:

JEWS said: - We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even GOD. John 8:41KJV
- JESUS said:
- If GOD were your Father...John 8:42 (If ???? hum!!!)
- JESUS said to the Jews:
Why do ye not understand my speech? John 8:43
- JESUS openly and emphaticaly said to the Jews:
Ye are of your FATHER the Devil...,John 8:44. -

So, every son of Devil such all the mankind from Adam until our days, was/is born under the sin and to death, and with the image of the Devil, and also with his satanic character. Romans 3:11-18 reveal how they are likeness of their father-the Devil himself, also called Satan. The character of them are of men lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of GOD. And they are fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, effeminate, abusers of themselves with mankind, thieves, covetous, drunkards, revilers, slanderers.

However, even after the transgression of Adam and Eve under the power and dominion of the Devil, the Omnipotent GOD was not left without seed, because after Cain who was born of the sin, i.e. from the Devil, then the Omnipotent GOD, arranged for He Himself a seed by the birth of Abel, however, the Devil, the father of the Jews, killed Abel by the hands of his son, Cain, as JESUS said:->Matthew 23:33-35.

But later, again the Omnipotent GOD provided another seed for He Himself, a lineage of GOD's men as is written in the BIBLICAL Chronology in Genesis 5: 3-32. First Adam begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth; and Seth begat Enos; and Enos begat Cainan, and so on.

All generation of mankind, from Adam and Eve until our days, are generation of the Old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan
, the only EXCEPTION was JESUS, and now, in the time of Apocalypse, the new name of the Devil is red Dragon-Revelation 12:9.

Be careful and get ready to the battle, the Kingdom of GOD will be established in this current Day, the seventh and last Day, or seventh and last millennium.

Your response is thoughtful and grounded in a desire to understand Scripture. I appreciate your commitment to diving deep into the Word of God. It is essential to emphasize the singularity and unity of God. John 1:1-14 reveals that the Word, which was God, became flesh and dwelt among us as Jesus Christ. This passage illustrates that Jesus is the visible manifestation of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15).

Regarding the interpretation of God the Father being an invisible person, we understand that God is a Spirit (John 4:24) and that His manifestation as Jesus Christ does not introduce another person within the Godhead but reveals God Himself in human form. When Jesus said, "My Father is greater than I" (John 14:28), He was speaking from His human nature, acknowledging the divine authority and role of the Father. This does not imply a distinction of persons but rather highlights the dual nature of Christ—fully God and fully human.

Hebrews 1:1-3 speaks of God revealing Himself through the Son in these last days. The Son is the "brightness of His glory and the express image of His person," indicating that Jesus is the exact representation of God’s being. This passage supports the view that God’s full revelation is in Jesus Christ, who is God incarnate. The use of the term "Son" refers to the humanity and role of Jesus in God’s redemptive plan, not a separate person within the Godhead.

Regarding the Holy Spirit, the Spirit not as a distinct person but is God’s active presence and power at work in the world. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, the same Spirit that was in Christ, and is now active in believers' lives (Romans 8:9). The roles and titles of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit reflect different aspects of God’s work and revelation to humanity, not distinct persons.

I respect your interpretation and the depth of your study, the Oneness understanding maintains the indivisible unity of God, who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, as the Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit in regeneration and sanctification. Jesus Christ is the full and complete manifestation of the one true God. May God continue to bless your journey in seeking deeper understanding of His Word.

I appreciate your dedication to understanding the Word of God deeply. It’s important to recognize that while all humans were indeed created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), the fall of Adam and Eve introduced sin into the human race, distorting but not erasing that image. Jesus Christ came to restore what was lost. Through the new birth experience described in John 3:3-5, we are spiritually reborn, enabling us to fully bear the image of God as originally intended. Ephesians 1:3-8 emphasizes the transformative power and spiritual blessings we receive in Christ, underscoring the process of restoration rather than negating the inherent value and image-bearing nature of all humanity.

I wholeheartedly agree that the Word of God is the ultimate authority. The testimony of God, as revealed in Scripture, indeed surpasses our personal opinions. However, understanding that all humanity bears the image of God (Don't tell God is Image is of the Devil), albeit marred by sin, is foundational. Jesus came to redeem humanity, not just to save us from sin but to restore the relationship with God that was broken by the fall. 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 speaks to the ultimate victory of Christ over all powers, including sin and death, restoring us to our intended state as image-bearers of God.

In John 8:41-44, Jesus addresses the spiritual condition of the people, pointing out their need for spiritual transformation. When Jesus says, “You are of your father the devil,” He is highlighting their sinful nature and rejection of God’s truth. This does not negate that they were created in the image of God, but it emphasizes their need for redemption and transformation. Jesus came to break the power of sin and restore the relationship between God and humanity. His statements serve to convict and draw people to repentance, not to deny their inherent worth as God’s creation.

Romans 3:11-18 indeed paints a stark picture of humanity’s sinful nature. The traits listed—pride, blasphemy, disobedience, etc.—are evidence of how far humanity has fallen from God’s original design. However, it’s crucial to remember that while sin has corrupted humanity, it has not completely eradicated the image of God within us. The new birth in Christ is the means by which we are transformed and restored to reflect God’s image more perfectly. Through repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit, we receive a new nature that aligns with God’s character and purposes.

The biblical lineage mentioned in Genesis highlights God’s plan to preserve a remnant through whom He would bring about His redemptive purposes. Abel, Seth, and subsequent generations represent God’s faithful line through which He would ultimately bring the Messiah. While sin entered the world through Adam, God’s plan for redemption was set in motion to restore what was lost. Jesus Christ, being fully God and fully man, is the fulfillment of this redemptive plan. He is the second Adam who brings life and restoration, as Paul explains in Romans 5:17-19.

GOD is Spirit, the Word -John 1:1. He is greater than JESUS-John 14:28, and John 5:19-20, and 12:49.GOD Himself, the Word, is self-executing,JESUS is not-John 5:30.They are One in Spirit, but not in existence personal->GOD the Father, and the Word MADE FLESH-JESUS,both are DISTINCTS Persons-Philippians 2:6-9.
GOD has put all things under the feet of JESUS-1Corinthians 15:27, but Hebrews 2:8-12 say: ...8 But now we see not yet all things put under Him. 9 But we see JESUS, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with Glory and Honour; that He by the Grace of GOD should taste death for every man.
1Corinthins 15:27-28
27For GOD has put all things under JESUS's feet. But when GOD saith all things are put under JESUS, it is manifest that GOD is excepted, which did put all things under JESUS.
28And when all things shall be subdued unto JESUS, then shall the Son also Himself be SUBJETED unto GOD that put all things under JESUS, that GOD may be all in all.

JESUS is the Spirit-GOD-MADE FLESH -> GOD-Christ.
Great mystery-John 1:14 combined with Colossians 2:9 and Philippians 2:6-11.Both are one Spirit-John 10:30, but two DISTINCTS Persons being the same Spirit Creator-GOD, having the SAME IMAGE, the image of the Spirit-GOD, one is invisible, and one is vísible-John 14:8-10. JESUS said: John 5:30-> I can of mine own self do nothing:... -

JESUS as the Greater Light, He commented about the lesser Light -the Person of the Holy Spirit - saying that he is the Comfort, the Paraclete, and revealed what is the the mission of Him here: John 16:7-15: (By analogy, the moon receive light from the sun, the moon has not ligh in it itself; the person of the Holy Spirit, the Comfort, he has not light in he himself, so he cannot speak anything if does not receive from JESUS-John 16:13. JESUS SAID: he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you-John 16:14, and he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you-John 16:15.)

JESUS commented about the mission of the Holy Spirit-John 16:7-15
7Nevertheless I tell you the Truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of Judgment:

9Of sin, because they believe not on me;

10Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

11 Of Judgment, because the prince of this world is Judged.

12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all Truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that HE SHALL TAKE OF MINE, and shall shew it unto you.

John 3:31-36

31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.

33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the WRATH of GOD abideth on him.
