not a fight or argument but that is a big claim and some validation is preferred as anyone could say such a thing, as you well know.
This is not about any medical or pseudo-medical nonsense but about => a claim regarding God [with the understanding that 'God' refers to the God and Father as we read in Scripture.

I was responding to a claim by one on this thread seriously accusing pro-vaccine supporters of upholding evil and denying Jesus

and that a pro-vaccine belief was not following Jesus and working against the Holy Spirit.
And this nonsense goes unchallenged, and vaccination suddenly somehow becomes a salvation issue !!!
Thus as a Spirit-filled Christian praying in the Spirit and seeking guidance from God daily in the Spirit in all things I responded to the above claims as best I could for myself.
It is not an evil thing to do getting vaccinated.

I have much confidence in divine protection, healing and miracles, having received these many times:
but I know that healings and miracles are to do with faith and our walk with the Lord (and with a wise Father knowing what we need spiritually at all times).
My church does not condemn the use of medical services and doctors; nor prayer for an operation or procedure to be blessed by God.
Our access to supportive good health services in our developed societies is in itself a wonderful blessing from God - it is in the very poor third world where saints do not have access to doctors and
to hospital services that they rely on marvellous healing miracles.

There are many things that I am forced to obey and put up with under the laws of the land. As a Christian I follow the scriptures and obey the laws of government.
The antivaxxers have a problem in that they continue to be a source of disease and death for the rest of us.
The overwhelming numbers that have died from coronavirus and are also in ICU beds and hospitals are the unvaccinated (and some who have had only one inoculation).
Public health laws affect many areas of life for our health and wellbeing.
Children in first world countries are dying from preventable diseases such as whooping cough and measles because of nutty antivaxxer parents.
What about the rights of children to be safe from their parents??
Courts have many times overruled Jehovah Witness parents refusing life saving medical intervention for their children.

The wearing of seat belts in cars has been mandatory for decades and yet out here in rural SA dumb people still insist that it is their right not to have to wear seatbelts.
Guess who incur the greatest number of fatalities on our country roads? - It ain't those who choose to wear their seatbelts.

The law of the land in America is our constitution, if the people in the Gov do not uphold the constitution, why would we feel obligated to obey them??

When laws are unjust such as the laws America once held in place about slaves being property that people could own,,, would it be a christian thing to obey this law,, or to help the slave gain there freedom by any means possible including braking the law.

We should know in our hearts what laws are just and what laws are unjust.

IF people want to get a experimental drug that has NO long term history and was rushed to the public skipping procedures on safety,,, that is up to you.

but to say something in such a nasty insulting accusing way to people who do not want to take drug,, that does not prevent you from getting the cvoid and does not prevent you from spreading cvoid. Simply is not a Christian thing to do. Non of us are perfect, and I know you are better then that,,,, it is our God given right to choose what goes in out bodies, no Gov has any power to force us to take a unknown drug that has killed and sent many to the hospital .

To get vaccinated or not to get vaccinated and the politics of anti-vaxxers is NOT a Christian issue of concern, NOR a salvation issue, NOR a doctrinal issue.
These issues are worldly and political. They are not divisive to Christian faith and obedience to the gospel.

I have had two inoculations of the AstraZeneca vaccine and on both occasions I simply prayed for God my Father to bless me.
So far so good. I have not grown a second head, nor am I developing reptilian features.

When laws of the land directly violate or challenge the gospel of love then we are to obey God rather than men. Hence the great issues of conscience over abortion being mandatory on all medical staff.
But when the laws of the land are not morally controversial in directly challenging the teachings of Christ Jesus and the gospel then we under scripture are obliged to obey them as examples of good citizens.
Hence I wear my seatbelt or wear a medical mask while shopping or stop at red lights.
