GOD thinks it the Word speaks it [Jesus] and the Power [Holy Ghost ] does it
WE are Made in HIS image three parts as our Creator is . He is just one being as we are Yet we too have three parts !

1Jn 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1Th 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

spirit [hidden man] soul [mind] body [the vessel or house we are in]

Rom 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,

1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

This is not in the bible maybe?
But I asked MY LORD ! How do our flesh thoughts and our Spirit mind go together at salvation?
BEcause I know our flesh mind rots and goes back to the dirt it came from!

He said ? Everything we did out of LOVE goes with our Spirits mind ! That is why we remember our Moms and dads after our bodies die!

all the evil thoughts or flaws go to the earth and are gone forever !

So it made sense how we are judged or will be rewarded for our Good works which are only Good if we did them out of LOVE!
the rest are worthless!

Everything we do must be done as unto our LORD JESUS CHRIST and out of LOVE!

you see our reasons are very important to our LORD!

It becomes necessary for us to decide what should we do with such verses posted in the post 147; remove them, declare that God was confused or deliberately confuses us or perhaps declare that God is a liar.

God bless

The wisest thing we can do , is ASK the Spirit of truth to reveal to us the true understanding of Scriptures as we read them .He will not fail us and will reveal the truth to us if we are willing to Hear Him and accept His teachings as Truth!

1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

GOD wants His children to know Everything! But We cannot accept it All at once and must learn slowly ?
Some learn quicker than others and some refuse to grow spiritually! Not sure why?

Heb 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Strong meat is spiritual trues!

We seem to have a strong fundamental pattern running through the entire scriptures that there is only one true God the Father. This fact had been clearly stated by Jesus himself as well as his apostles in many undisputed verses.

There have been many Hebrew and Greek words used whereby their original meanings were "expanded" to accommodate this doctrine. It has been manifested in contradicting translations of the Bible and magnified by man's "interpretation" seen in the establishement of thousands of denominations. The body of Christ has been teared apart.

Instead of listening to the knowledge given to each of us by God, people judge and condemn each other as if it was their responsibility to do so.

God bless

You seem to have missed the content of my post entirely:

Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

This is Father God calling the Son "O God or Ho' Theos" which translates Most High God. With the Father calling the Son Most High God there can be no mistaking that Christ is indeed God.

1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

God has revealed, not will reveal.

Building a doctrine on one distorted verse against hundreds of undisputed verses doesn't appeal to me.

God bless

I went to a "Jesus Only" doctrine church and they wouldn't answer me when I asked about the scripture
1 Corinthians 15:20-28 they seemed annoyed that I brought this up and when they wouldn't answer me, I didn't believe anything they said. I go to a church that believes as I do in Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus accepted worship and if you have the son, you have the Father also. The Holy Spirit would not come until Jesus left. Jesus' had the job of giving his life for us and the H.S. had His work afterward. Its all the same spirit, but three in one.

Another one in Revelation: I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.

By Dr. R B Zuck:

"JESUS IS LORD"
Stephen called Jesus "Lord" (Acts 7:59, 60), and we are to confess Jesus as Lord (Rom. 10:9; 1 Cor. 12:3).
"Lord" in these verses is Kurios, which is the Greek word for Jehovah in the Greek version of the Old
Testament. Is it not rather evident from this that Christ the Lord (Kurios) is Jehovah God?
2. Several verses show that the Christ of the New Testament is the Jehovah of the Old Testament. For
example, Isaiah wrote about Jehovah in Isaiah 6:1-10, and John in John 12:31-42 says that Isaiah saw
Jesus' glory and spoke of Him.
In Exodus 34:14 it is clear that we are to worship no one but Jehovah. But in Hebrews 1:6 the angels
worship Christ. In Isaiah 44:6 Jehovah is called the first and the last, but in Revelation 22:13 Christ is
the first and the last. Since there cannot be two firsts and two lasts, is it not clear that Jehovah and Christ
must both be God? This reveals that Jehovah is used not only of God the Father, but also of God the
Son. Though they are distinct persons they are each called "Jehovah" because they each possess deity.
3. Attributes of Christ show that He is God. Jesus Christ knows all things (John 1:48; 2:25; 6:64; 16:30;
21:17). He is eternal (Mic. 5:2), all powerful (Matt. 28:18; Heb 1:3), sinless (John 8:46), and unchanging
(Heb 13:8). Since only God possesses these attributes, this indicates that Christ possesses deity.
4. Certain works of Christ show that He is God. Jesus Christ has the power to forgive sins (Mark 2:5-7;
Eph 1:7), control nature (Matt. 8:26), give eternal life (John 10:28; 17:2), and judge the world (John
5:22, 27). Since only God can do these things, does it not follow that Christ is God?
5. Christ received worship. Christ is worshipped by the angels (Heb. 1:6) and by man (Matt.14:33), and yet
only Jehovah is to be worshipped (Exod.34:14). Christ Himself said that worship is due to God alone
(Matt.4:10), and yet He accepted worship.

Jesus is God and came in human form.
Jesus though God walked as a man as the perfect example for us. He (though God) did only what He saw the Father doing and then that only in the power of the Holy Spirit. That was not a sign of lack or inability but was simply what He came to do.

Did Jesus deny the words of Thomas as He called Him God?
Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
Joh 20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

In the Book of Matthew The Words the Holy Spirit spoke through Isaiah tell us
Mat 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

It is clear in the following verse that Word is not just an expression or thought but the Word was God.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
and that God was Jesus Christ:
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

The Son is the again referenced as God in Isaiah:

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Scripture teaches that :
Exo 8:10 And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

Yet Jesus:
Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
and again:
Joh 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

This could go on for a very long time but sheer numbers of scripture will not change anyone's interpretation.
There is however no grounds to say that the following scripture should be ignored as isolated:

Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

The very fact that in the scriptures Thomas called Christ God, Isaiah called Christ both God and Everlasting Father and John and in John 1 the very Father God Himself calls Christ "the Most High God" plainly demonstrate the deity of Christ. Emmanuel- God with us come in the flesh and walking as a man.
To deny the deity of Christ one would have to remove a lot of scripture from the Word of God. To say that He was God and also a flesh and blood servant of God would not.

All red emphasis on scripture mine.

This is a common thread throughout the whole bible-

Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
There is none like God:

Exo 8:10 And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

Deu 33:26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.

2Sa 7:22 Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

1Ch 17:20 O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

Yet Christ is like God (and is God) in every way:

Exo 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

Luk 24:51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

God The Father,God The Son and God the Holy Spirit

To deny the Trinity is to deny the word of God.
To deny God's Spirit is to commit the only unpardonable sin!

(1 Jn. 5:7) “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word (Jesus), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

Amazing how TNIV seems so different:-
For there are three that testify: 8 the [a] Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.

How the crackers did they come up with that?

that is NOT the unpardonable sin!

Act 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

Act 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Act 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Act 19:7 And all the men were about twelve.

Mar 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Mar 3:30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.

Mat 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Luk 12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

Not the same in the KJV

The actual quote from 1 John is this: "For there are three that testify; the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and the three are in agreement." (1 Jn 5:7-8)

The Old Testament reference is to Deuteronomy 17:6 - "On the testimony of two or three witnesses shall a matter be decided."

SLE

I Jn 5:6-8
6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
(KJV)

John Gill Commentary

Good reference but most, if not all, of the modern versions will either leave that out or say in the foornotes that it does does not belong. Their assumption is that it is a marginal commentary note that somehow got into the text as it is not in the bogus texts used by the MVs but is in the texts used by the KJV tarnslators as well as in versions, letters, lectionaries and commentaries much older then Westcott-Hort mess.

This is just part of John Gill's commentary on 1 John 5:7.

Verse 7. For there are three that bear record in heaven,.... That is, that Jesus is the Son of God. The genuineness of this text has been called in question by some, because it is wanting in the Syriac version, as it also is in the Arabic and Ethiopic versions; and because the old Latin interpreter has it not; and it is not to be found in many Greek manuscripts; nor cited by many of the ancient fathers, even by such who wrote against the Arians, when it might have been of great service to them: to all which it may be replied, that as to the Syriac version, which is the most ancient, and of the greatest consequence, it is but a version, and a defective one. The history of the adulterous woman in the eighth of John, the second epistle of Peter, the second and third epistles of John, the epistle of Jude, and the book of the Revelations, were formerly wanting in it, till restored from Bishop Usher's copy by De Dieu and Dr. Pocock, and who also, from an eastern copy, has supplied this version with this text. As to the old Latin interpreter, it is certain it is to be seen in many Latin manuscripts of an early date, and stands in the Vulgate Latin edition of the London Polyglot Bible: and the Latin translation, which bears the name of Jerom, has it, and who, in an epistle of his to Eustochium, prefixed to his translation of these canonical epistles, complains of the omission of it by unfaithful interpreters. And as to its being wanting in some Greek manuscripts, as the Alexandrian, and others, it need only be said, that it is to be found in many others; it is in an old British copy, and in the Complutensian edition, the compilers of which made use of various copies; and out of sixteen ancient copies of Robert Stephens's, nine of them had it: and as to its not being cited by some of the ancient fathers, this can be no sufficient proof of the spuriousness of it, since it might be in the original copy, though not in the copies used by them, through the carelessness or unfaithfulness of transcribers; or it might be in their copies, and yet not cited by them, they having Scriptures enough without it, to defend the doctrine of the Trinity, and the divinity of Christ: and yet, after all, certain it is, that it is cited by many of them; by Fulgentius {z}, in the beginning of the "sixth" century, against the Arians, without any scruple or hesitation; and Jerom, as before observed, has it in his translation made in the latter end of the "fourth" century; and it is cited by Athanasius {a} about the year 350; and before him by Cyprian {b}, in the middle, of the "third" century, about the year 250; and is referred to by Tertullian {c} about, the year 200; and which was within a "hundred" years, or little more, of the writing of the epistle; which may be enough to satisfy anyone of the genuineness of this passage; and besides, there never was any dispute about it till Erasmus left it out in the, first edition of his translation of the New Testament; and yet he himself, upon the credit of the old British copy before mentioned, put it into another edition of his translation.

Spirit1st,
I'm a little confused at what your saying:"that is NOT the unpardonable sin!".......What is not?

Scriptures speak for themselves !
Means we are Not to say , a person has a evil spirit , when they have the HOLY GHOST!
Or We are not to Speak Evil of GODS Spirit , It pretty clear , I think!
