I would agree. It is how the vow. . . two as one was created and why the ceremonial shadow. . not being unevenly yoked with daughters of men A phrase that speaks of unbelieving mankind fornicating with sons of God. Believers, men and woman of renown moved mightily by Christ working in them like that of Deborah

God destroyed men with a flood to show the urgency of not being unevenly yoked .Just as he killed Onan who refused to perform the ceremonial law .He spilled the seed .It began again after the flood with the sign of the rainbow to remind us not to be unevenly yoked , as in what does darkness have to do with light .

The spiritual seed Christ was protected that way until the time of the Son of man His birth fulfilling the shadow

The protecting of that seed is also shown by the second born as with Abel Isaac Jacob .

Adam the first born of men failed the second Adam (Jesus ) born of God performed the will of our Father
Garee Not one single human died in that flood....All life was corrupted by angel DNA If you mix angel with human, the offspring is not human or angel but a mix of both....an abomination that was never meant to exist...God did not kill people...He took out the garbage.

@Garee -- you Do have an interesting way of interpreting Scripture. Some of it being Way off base.

God sent the world-wide flood to destroy mankind and animal life except what was on the ark because mankind had become increasingly violent -- sinful. Had nothing to do with being unequally yoked with non-believers.

The rainbow was given to us to remind us /assure us that He would never again destroy people by world-wide flood.
@Garee, read Genesis again. The Bible tells us explicitly why God destroyed all that were alive on the earth, save Noah and all others on the ark: man was doing evil continuously. Anything beyond that, as in fallen angels copulating with human women, or man-beastiality amalgamation, is pure speculation and therefore unbiblical.

Jerry You need to read the Word on this topic....I mean...You really need to read the Word on this topic..

Uhuh...I see that....Yup yup yup
Violence, corruption, wild orgies, murders, idol worshippers, rapists, rulers who claimed to be gods, and any other evil behavior you can imagine was likely occurring when God commanded Noah to build the ark. What does God's word say the reason was for God destroying life on earth?

Genesis 6:1 "And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them."

If Moses wrote the book of Job, I might lean toward sons of God in Genesis as fallen angels. But there is no indication that Moses wrote Job, or that Job was written after Torah. And Moses never mentions Job or the sons of God as mentioned in Job to be the fallen angels of Genesis 6.

Looking at Genesis 6 -- the sons of God saw the daughter o men, that they were beautiful and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.

And that there were giants on the earth and also after that.

The book of Leviticus mentions beastiality as being wrong.

So all of that Has existed but not the cause of the flood.

And all of this has been going on for many years now, today! Has God changed His mind on this? Why has He done nothing on this? He must be changing His mind?

"Genesis 6:1 "And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."

Yes! The fallen angels kidnapped and raped any human woman they wanted, married or single. The bred with these women and giants and other Nephil resulted....The offspring was NOT human....I'm sure you understand that? Notice that the Word says " "5 Adonai saw that the people on earth were very wicked, that all the imaginings of their hearts were always of evil only. 6 Adonai regretted that he had made humankind on the earth; it grieved his heart. " He said 'people', not 'man'. People includes angels...
"7 Adonai said, “I will wipe out humankind, whom I have created, from the whole earth; and not only human beings, but animals, creeping things and birds in the air; for I regret that I ever made them.”" Why did God regret that he had made man? 9 Here is the history of Noach. In his generation, Noach was a man righteous and wholehearted; Noach walked with God." Noah was perfect in his generations....what does that even mean? Generations= genetics...Noah was pure in his genetics...He was not polluted by angel DNA....He, and his family, totaling eight people, were fully human....They went onto the ark and the rest people and animals were polluted by angel DNA No longer human... Of course you already know that.....

What you need to do is to read the WORD and lean toward that....unless you are falling into the foolish trap of trying to interpret the Word...No need to do that my friend. Its already in English

In your wild imagination, only. To be clear, the Bible, which IS the only authority, does not say these were fallen angels.

God repented in Genesis 6:6 when he destroyed all life on earth with the flood. God repented in Exodus 32:14. God repented in Judges 2:18. God repented in 1 Samuel 15:35; 2 Samuel 24:16; Amos 7:3. So, yes, the Lord does repent.

@ JerryfromMass -- I see what you're referring to in Job 1-2 --- you're understanding that the messengers who reported to Job about all the loss that was experienced were angels. Satan Was being allowed by God to mess with Job -- satan assumed Job was cave in. But he didn't.

I've always assumed that the messengers were people who worked for Job -- like ranch hands who reported to him about what was happening.

When I see Jesus, perhaps He will tell me who the Genesis 6:6 sons of God were. Right now, I don't have to know. We both know the Bible does not explicitly say who the Gen. 6:6 sons of God are. It's all speculation. So, I won't believe you or others who believe as you do simply because someone else told you and you believed.

you're understanding that the messengers who reported to Job about all the loss that was experienced were angels.
No. That's not what I was saying.

Angels are referred to as sons of God in Job 1 and 2. The messengers that reported the tragic events to Job were Job's human servants that survived the calamities they reported.

The NKJ reads in Genesis 6:6 "And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart."

Exodus 32:14 "So the Lord relented from the harm which He said He would do to His people. "

Judges 2:18 " And when the Lord raised up Judges for hem, the Lord was with the judge and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for the Lord was moved to pity by their groaning becasue of those who oppressed them and harassed them. "

The Lord 'relented' , was sorry, moved to pity" in those passages.

It's repented in my Bible.

So why was God sorry that He made man? He made man, He loved man, and along come these fallen angels and wreck the whole species except for eight people....I can understand why God regretted making man....

Okay -- in vs 6 of Job1 "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and satan also came among them."
