We will disagree.... there is not Scripture saying Priscilla or Chloe are pastors. Daddy was a pastor Mom was his helpmeet she was not a pastor.

Maybe looking up the term 'house of' would be helpful . Most often the term 'house of ' could be household or family

I have no doubt God has used many women, the Bible is full of the wonderful stories of their lives. In the Scripture provided God has laid out the Church authority . That authority does not include female pastors . Queen Esther is a fearless hero.. Sarah a great example of a Godly woman. Rahab and Ruth are 'grandmothers' of Jesus

I can not imagine the mothers pain Mary had at the foot of the Cross.

We women are told our husbands are the head . No place are women included in the passages God has laid out for the authority of the church, except as wife.

Well -- Biblically they Both are very important. The marriage ceremony / whatever that would consist of/ comes 1st in front of friends / family and then consumating the marriage. Things are to be done in proper order to be done the Right way. And to have God's blessing. If a person isn't concerned about having God's blessing on their marriage -- then they probably don't care about who does or doesn't worship God.

My thought is that since we Now have the complete 'canon' of Scripture -- there is no need For prophets. We have God's Word / Holy Spirit to read, study, share.

The only reason two Christians (male and female) should be sleeping together who are not married is when it necessitates sharing body heat in extreme cold conditions in order for survival.

If all they are doing is dating, Christians should not, indeed would not, be sleeping together except for the foregoing reason.

Years ago in Granger there were a bunch of us who had a Bible study going.

We would alternate homes to meet in. But it wasn't necessarily the person Living at the home that presided over the study time. But there was always a man leading it. Never any of the wives.

According to the references they were not alternating homes...Each of those women, Cloe for example was running a church group in their homes....Put doctrine aside and look at the Word...What does it say....Believe what you read instead of reading what you believe

God's word is true. Women pastors are unbiblical. Pastor = Shepherd. Shepherds lead the flock. The shepherd's were always male. The flock is the ekklesia. Women can lead government and business and be helpers in the ecclesiastical, but not teachers and pastors of men.
