In Israel, nobody is called Lord except God. Have you ever heard of a noble man able to heal people in England?
Matthew 9:27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. 31 But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
I understand your point of view though since Lord is derived from the Greek word kurios, but it is defined in usage as "from kuros (supremacy); supreme in authority, i.e. (as noun) controller; by implication, Master (as a respectful title):-- God, Lord, master, Sir.
So how does one define the intent of the one calling Him Lord? But by how it is used in context. Can 2 blind men expect any noble man to heal or just the One Whom is God by Whom they had placed their faith in?
So the woman caught in adultery realized something; she should have been dead and yet she was not. How Jesus defended her can only elevate Jesus in her eyes as the Lord God for why Jesus said, neither do I condemn you and for her to go and sin no more when she called Him Lord in that regard.
Matthew 15:21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
What noble men in Israel, let alone in England, has been given faith to do things that only God can do? Indeed, what noble man has ever been worshipped for the things that only God can do?
