Brother, this is unbiblical 100%. The forum rules state to back up your statements with Scripture. Scripture makes it very clear who the beast is, what will happen to the beast, who goes to hell and who goes to heaven. There is no debating this, there is no opinions. The Word of GOD is final.

In your profile, you say you became born again in 2003. In John 3, Jesus sets forth what is meant by the term "born again": "Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life." (John 3:14) "Whoever believes in him is not condemned. But, whoever does not (refuses to) believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." (John 3:18)

Being "born again" means one is a true follower of Jesus. Being a true follower of Jesus means that you study God's Word (all of it). Studying all of God's Word reveals that he is just as well as loving. He doesn't hate sinners, but he does hate sin and when people hear the gospel message but refuse to follow Jesus and, as a result, die in their sin, their sin causes them to be condemned. Its their choice, not God's.

I know some have responded to your post suggesting that you may not be a real Christian. I'm not going there. That's between you and God. I just want to give you a few things to consider...

Jesus of course has authority over everything in heaven and earth, including Satan and his servants. However, if Jesus changed the future (as you suggested) so that His revelation to John and us would not come to pass in God's timing, then that would make God The Word (Jesus) a liar. And as the Lord said, "let every man be a liar, but the Word of God shall stand [as unshakable truth] forever".

I don't know who told you the things you expressed, or if you came to these conclusions on your own; but you should know that God is not a liar, nor does He contradict His Word. When He who is the Alpha and Omega says something will happen, it simply will. There's nothing anyone can do to stop it. If we could, then we would be more powerful than God.

The prophecies of the end of this world are not a terrible or evil thing. If anyone thinks the end of this world is an awful nightmare, then they love the world more than they love God. Our hope and our home is NOT IN THIS WORLD.

Believers should read the Book of Revelation with excitement and joy. The time will come when the world will wax as evil as it could possibly be. The church will become pure and more powerful than ever (not in the world's sense of power). Jesus defeats Satan and his followers forever. A new heaven and a new earth are created just for believers, and we live there forever with our Lord. The new heaven and new earth cannot come until this world is gone. The church cannot be ready to inhabit it unless its purified (this is done by tribulation/ persecution). I believe [my interpretation] that we are coming into the last days. There is not more exciting time in all of history to be alive!

One of the very first Most important decisions that each born again believer has to make is this. We either believe the WHOLE Bible is the truthful Word of God or we don't. You see, if there is even one lie in the Bible, then we cannot trust anything else in the Bible either because there might just be lies all over the place, right. And who would want to base a whole new lifestyle on a book like that!!

John 17:17 Sanctify them by truth, your word is truth.

So it is very very important whether we believe the Bible to be the WHOLE truth. Although written by humans it is divinely inspired by God.

When we become born again, it is for the rest of our lives, the word of God is a life manual to help us get to know God better. There is just absolutely NO WAY any human could ever have reached God first by their own devises.

God saw that no one could ever reach Him or communicate with Him, He loves us, so He reached out to us first.

God communicated to us first, He made the plan to save mankind and God sent us instructions and directions through the prophets and Jesus Christ. ALL of God's words and deeds of communication to humans were recorded by way of the Bible.

When I think of people going to Hell (and for all eternity at that) I get downright scared! Especially because of my vivid imagination on God's word and descriptions of hell!

Mathew 5:22 ...will be in danger of the fire of hell...
Mathew 10:28...destroy both soul and body in hell...
Mathew 18:9...and be thrown into the fire of hell...
Luke 12:5.. has power to throw you into hell
Luke 16:23...in hell where he was in torment..

I also become even more concerned when i hear of testimonies of thousands of people who have actually been to hell and back and the Lord in His mercy has allowed them to come back to earth to warn us of the realities of hell. But i stay focused and very very grateful and always thankful for God's grace, for Jesus Christ and what He did at calvary for me, Jesus paid the price so I won't have to go there and it is important for us to spread this gospel and tell others.

I once came across a group that goes under the name "universalism". When i had read quite alot about their theory of "How" everyone is eventually going to land up in Heaven, I must say I was seriously relieved and Happy. But i did pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth and to know if what I was reading was God's truth?

I mean everything they said sounded so so right, about people that did land in hell only being there for a time, until they had been cleansed and purified by God's fire. Made sense to me. And boy they sure quoted scripture and explained original greek meanings alright! They also say that eventually EVERYONE is going to land up in Heaven. But after praying, hearing more testimonies, asking advice, and searching God's word some more (and kept checking my gut instinct) I believe God's word. It is simple and we complicate it.

There is day and night / God and the devil / good and evil / heaven and hell / angels and demons / Life and death / eternal life and eternal damnation.....God said YOU choose. But remember when you ask God something know this...

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists, and that He REWARDS those who earnestly seek Him

Mathew 7:9-11 Which of you if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone, or if he asks for a fish will give him a snake? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him

What do you think God will reward you with? First of all our Father God in whatever He does give you, will always be truthful about what He gives.

You will know the TRUTH about things, and then you will grow in wisdom and understanding and be able to bear much fruit for God and even teach others to be TRUE disciples so that they can teach others to be TRUE disciples and you my dear friend will be bearing much much fruit for God, THE MOST HIGH.

I have been with the Lord for many years now and have many times fallen away. God has brought me back into a relationship with Him deeper than I have ever ever experienced, BUT I do still stumble (as we all do) no one is perfect yet, but boy are we sure on our way, LOL. I do still have to UNLEARN some things that i thought to be truth and are not. I tell God, I want your truth God, no one else's, only yours, give it to me Lord in Jesus name...God is teaching me TRUTH, HIS TRUTH.

John 8:31-32 Jesus said "and if you hold to my teachings, you are really my desciples. Then you will know the truth and truth will set you free

It would be nice to believe everyone will eventually go to heaven. However, that would make Jesus' death a complete waste. We have this life to either accept His sacrifice as our cleansing, or refuse it. If we accept it, we are born again, with a clean slate. When God the Father looks upon us, He sees only the precious blood of His Son, not our sins.

If we refuse it, then we stand, at the end of this life, before God, uncovered. Our sins convict us, and our just God must give us what we deserve. To do otherwise would make Him contradict Himself. I don't serve a schizophrenic God. He is pure and sin cannot remain in His presence. Our iniquity causes the unredeemed to be separate from Him. Its not what He wants for anybody. But we reap what we sow.

I used to work with a wiccan (witch), and she asked me once: "You mean that, if I live a good moral life, but don't believe in Jesus, I'll be sent to hell?"

I answered her: "If you lived this life in rejection of God's Son, why would you want to spend eternity with Him?" I further explained that heaven is God's home. If you come through the Door that He has opened to you (Jesus), you are a welcome visitor. But if you try to enter His home by any other way, you are an intruder, and unwelcome.

We all deserve hell. We have all sinned (Rom. 3:23). But by His grace extended to us through Jesus, we may have eternal life with Him (Rom. 6:23). Heaven is not a place we can reach on our own.

Dear sister, search the teachings of universalism about some key doctrines:
1. the Trinity
2. sinful nature of humanity
3. who do they say Jesus is?
4. Who do they say Satan is?
Continue to let God The Holy Spirit teach you.

And oh yeah... be prepared to not feel comfortable about what He teaches you!

Back on topic for this forum. My Apostle (head of my church) said Sunday morning that he's not worried at all about the future. He said he's concerned that he has already been deceived into being a part of the system. He mentioned that he has credit cards and debit cards, and uses them more than cash.

While the Scripture does not identify specifically what the mark is, it seems clear that it is an economic measure (with some far deeper and eternal ramifications). In Revelations when it says that all those whose names are not written in the Book of Life will "worship the beast", we need to remember that the word "worship" means "serve".

I believe, through the false prophet's miracles and message, MANY will be deceived into believing this man will be Jesus returned to earth for the millenial reign. After all, this man (the beast) will end war, poverty, famine, and unite the world in "peace and prosperity". All those who submit to his system will have financial security. To multitudes, even biblically-illiterate believers, he will appear to be the savior of the world.

The only ones who will be poor, and considered fools at best and likely outlaws, will be the Christians who understand the time and signs. Those unswayed by the siren songs of convenience and functionality in a new world society will eventually be cutoff. You won't be able to work, buy anything, you will lose your home, you won't be able to drive your vehicle since you won't be able to buy gas. You won't be able to hide (Praise God hiding will be impossible! God does not want His people to be in fear at that time- He wants us to be bold and don't try to survive in this world). Then, it will come down to being at gunpoint: "take the mark [they probably won't call it that] or die". Those who would save their life will lose it; but those willing to lose their lives will be saved.

Let's face it brethren, why would Christians fear death? We will overcome the world by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

Be joyous that the time seems close!

I don't know if a computer chip will be directly related to the number of the beast, but will probably play a role in it. On that note our pets can have an encoded chip inserted beneath the skin between the shoulder blades. The chip has data re. it's owners name, address and phone number so the animal can be returned home.

A number of years ago, grocery stores gave you an ID card which contains information on you and keeps track of your purchases.

Now other stores are following suit.

Our Social Security numbers are used for almost everything to keep track of us, on that note, " I Do Not give out my Soc. Sec. number unless I know exactly why they want it and I NEVER GIVE MY SOC. SEC. number over the phone. One more thing, when you buy gas and use your credit or debit card, press "Clear" when you are done. Theives can retrieve your card number and use it, if you don't press clear!

while this chip is intereting and I have no doubt in my mind that it will be used by the beast to control us. I would not put it as the mark itself but rather a tool to stop bying and selling etc. the mark itself is on hte forehead or in the hand interestingly enough the bible talks about the hand as our actions and the forehead as our beliefe or thoughts. notice in Bible old testament that the seal of GOd is in the forehead or the frontlets between the eyes and the hand also.

and notice that we are told to keep the law there which is why the jews used to have scrptures tied on their forehead and hand althought we know that that is not what GOd ment but rather our thoughts and our actions. this fits with James who said lets not be hearers only of the word but also doers. David said I have hidden thy law in my heart so that i will not sin against thee. take note that in Bible times even in the new testament the heart was used also to portrey the mind. see how they fit with the seal being in forehead (mind thoughts beliefe) and the hand (our actions)

so the difference between the mark of the beast and the seal of God is simply our beliefe and or actions. in the end some will follow the beast even though they know it is wrong but out of fear. others will becasue of neglect believe or think that the way of the beast is right.

this mark of the beast will not be some phisical object or marking but rather its about who do we follow GOd or man. those who follow God will believe with their mind and their actions will show the world that they are His while those who recieve the mark of the beast will beleve man and their actions will show that they follow the beast.

Knowing the Bible says their fruit will show who they are and the beast will be able to deicern us throught our words and actions.

the final issue is over who we follow man or GOd those who follow GOd will understand as Solomon did that fear God and keep His commandments for this is the whole duty of man.

chose you this day who you will serve but as for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Daniel said the beast would seek to change times and laws whose times and whose laws? obviously Gods and those who accept these changed times and laws will follow the beast and therefore have the mark for the beast which will be manifest in their lives. their fruits.

the issue as I have mentioned once or twice is worship beast or God.

Hear is the patience of the saints here are they who keep the commandments of GOd and the faith of Jesus Christ.

Letusgo27 - amen. I'm constantly amazed how people believe that some electronic device is the mark. It is as you say, of course, it is a mark given by God Himself. It is the opposite of the seal of God.
Christ said all sins would be forgiven men except blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Apparently He forgot to mention accepting some man-made electronic device. Or He didn't, and there will be no physical mark.
This is the same type of secular reasoning used to "count up" the "name of the beast" by calculating a man's name. The arrogance and absolute stupidity of this is mind-boggling. These theories are so horrible insomuch that they emasculate God. As if God wants you to be on a witch hunt to calculate every leader's name given to him by his mother.
As for some futuristic beast - read Revelations 13:8 and tell me how this beast hasn't already been around for quite some time.
It is of some amazement to me how many people believe that most of Revelations is futuristic - including this mark - when the opposite is true.

hi the chip has been around since the late 90s and has been in use in humans since 1999 it is i believe .
when studying the " mark " in context it seems more a tatoo rather than an implanted chip . is there such a device available a tattoo that has the history of the wearer engrained into it ? yes it is in use these days in pennatentarys in texas .so this system is possibly a closer representation to the mark of the beast except for one point .
the mark of the beast is not forced on people except that they will not be able to buy or sell without this mark . so this almost suggests that it is a monetary system device and at the same time a spiritual mark as christians have all their needs met by JESUS so if we are to rely on money then prhaps the mark is a magnetic tatoo that is more intricate to the magnetic strip on the back of an atm card or credit card ?
as many inks in tatoos are of a metallic nature it is entirely possible to place this information in the tatoo.
also please remember that the mark is not 666 as such it is originally written and stated as six hundred threescore and six , to type it numerically in modern numbers it reads 62020206 .

I believe the 2 witnesses are Enoch and Elijah because they were the only two men who didn't die, but they were taken up to heaven. The reason why it should be those 2 men is because, they didn't die. According to the bible, every man should die once and then they should be judged.

Hebrews 9:27: And just as it is destined that each person dies only once and after that comes judgment

So they will come to earth and they will be clothed in sack cloth and they will prophecy for 3 and a half years (Revelation 11: 3-11) and after that, they will be killed. 3 and a half days after they are killed, they will be ressurected and they will be taken to heaven.

After this, the angel blows the 7th trumpet (Revelation 11:15-19) and then the Anti-Christ will be revealed.

the two witnesses are past friends the old testament tells us who or what they are see if you can find it. but none the less they are the new and old testament which prophicied in sackcloth for 1260 years the same time given to the gentiles 42 months and 1260 years are the same. its to do with the Jewish calander.

from 538 - 1798 this period took place in a time when the church hid the word from the public yet there were some refomers and others as we know that tried and got the word of God out there so while it was in darkness so to speak it still remained. notice also that they died for 3 days which coencides with the fact that preceeding the french revolution which brought the papal reign down, they publically burnt Bibles and made it illegal and this lasted 3 years then the word of God cam back. hmmm. only the word of God has the power to stop the reign and those who go against it will be devoured by fire in hte judgment day. while I have left much unexplained im sure a little study and prayer will help to see if what i say is true blessings all.

They died before the crucifixion of Jesus, but they did not die before He lived or before He acted on earth, and both had personal experience with Him.

Keeping John 1:1 in mind look at Genesis 15:1.

I'm sorry- I'm not finding the similar reference for Moses.

My understanding is that many places where we havd "LORD" was originally the Word of the LORD.

I am trying to learn where all that has happened in the OT.

It certainly makes sense in the Genesis though, since no-one can see God yet God appears to Abram/Abraham several times.

Genesis 19:24 is one place where translating the Word of the LORD as simply LORD causes a bit of confusion.

Is there a reference specifically to Abraham and Moses not knowing Jesus somewhere in the NT that I have missed? My reading of the OT is constantly revealing His presence throughout the entire time of Creation's existence.

And yes, this is relevent to the chip, somehow.

It's a concern we all should have.
Many many pagan practices have entered into our daily lives so much so that we don't even notice.

God says how many times not to even allow the names of these false gods to come from our lips, yet almost every day of the week, most of the months, and how many corporations, products, and children share these names?
