70 Weeks of Daniel Prophecy - Already Fulfilled or Not?

@ Bill -- Jesus Christ is the One who will be taking all born-again believers up to meet Him in the air. It's not something anyone is asking or begging Him to do. It will happen in the twinkling of an eye and only God the Father knows whe it will happen.

It sounds like you're upset with pre-trib rapture people.

The most important aspect would be whether or not a person is born-again. A person could be hit by a car and die tomorrow. Or try a drug for the first time and it would kill him. So it's more important to make sure of your own salvation.
How sure of your salvation are you. Lol there are many who are certain of thier salvation, saying "Jesus is my Lord and Saviour" with thier mouths, yet thier hearts are far from God..

If God does not find love, compassion, forgiveness within them, they are not His.

You run away from the term "works" ( a catholic thing ) but you dont understand its meaning.

A person can stand on a mountain top and scream Jesus is my Lord and Savior, but that will not save them.

It is only DOING the Will of the Father that will save you.

If the Father asks you to clean up the poop. Will you do it? If the Father asks you to help out the poor, the sick, the lame. Will you do that?

Do you remember the scripture of the virtuous, how the King said, you fed the hungry, clothed the naked. When you did this for those, you did it for me.

@Bill -- I'm positive of my salvation because of thr wonderful inner peace that I felt immediately. It was the Holy Spirit indwelling me. Hadn't been there before
I'd had a great head knowledge of.salvation--could probably ha e led someone to Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. But there was no inner peace. Kind of inner turmoil
And then pastor said that going forward didn't save anyone. That a person can pray / talk to God anywhere about their inner confusion. I did that and thanked God for the salvation He provided through His Son Jesus Christ - that He died on the cross and rose again the third day. And immediately there was the inner peace. It was the Holy Spirit that came to indwell my heart.

If you noticed my lol after the comment, i said it jokingly. I already know you will be in heaven. And i will as well. So you can now either amuse yourself, or cry lol at the thought of having someone like me around for eternity. Hahaha !!!

My true message was for you to hear what is most important. Because God is Love ( from the heart ) and Love is God. So the person who Loves one another. The person whose compassion is so Great, that the person is filled with Love for others. Already has God ( Jesus ) in them, even if that person does not know Jesus in thier mind.

Listen carefully to the story of the Last Judgement. Matt 25:31-46
Then The Virtuous will say to him in reply, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and make you welcome, naked and clothe you, sick or in prison and go to see you?" And the King will answer, "I tell you solemnly, in so far as you did it to one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it to me."

Many that scripture speaks of did not know Jesus by name, yet they knew Him in heart. And many know the name of Jesus, yet refuse to open thier hearts to Him.

It is also why Paul says Romans 1:13-15 It is not listening to the law, but keeping it that will make people holy in the sight of God. For instance, pagans who never heard of the law but are led by reason to do what the law commands, may not actually "possess" the law, but they can be said to "be" the law. They can point to the substance of the law engraved on their hearts.

We who are Christians, are called, not to look for only our own salvation. But to help everyone else find Jesus. It is best to Know who Jesus is, as Our Lord and Guide*, than not to. As the devil is ever seeking the ruin of mankinds souls.

Even if the pretrib rapture was a real thing, which it is not. Would you be willing to give up that ride of an early gettaway. Knowing already you are with Christ, and stay here just to help at least one more soul to find Jesus?

My heaven is already with me, because i know the Father Loves me.

*(of course Lord and Saviour. I wanted you to listen to what i was saying)

@Bill I found d your response and have been thinking about hie to respond back. This being Sunday-- I get picked up in about an hour and still need to get ready to go. It will be this afternoon before I get back.

@Bill -- took me longer to get back to you than I thought it would.

Lots of people know about God -- they believe He exists- intellectually-- they might even have read the Bible-- but they haven't accepted Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

No one has heaven already in us.
You might die tomorrow and not be able to lead a other person to faith in Jesus Christ.

Only God the Father knows when it will be time for Jesus Christ to come and meet all born-again believers both dead alive in the sky to be with Him forever.

You don't know what you're saying, when you say no one has Heaven in them.

Does Jesus live in you?

I know that Jesus lives in me, and where is Jesus? And is not Jesus God? And is not God the Father? And where is the Father?

So if the Father is in Heaven, and Jesus and the Father are One. And Jesus is in me, then Heaven is already inside of me.

Something to ponder!!!

Sue, i will not die today, or tomarrow, or the next day.

I already told you who i am.

By the way, if you have any debts, get out of them before the end of the year. Next year Jan will be too late.

Tell your church pastor's, to tell thier members. Get out of debt.

@ Bill--.you're the guy who thinks he's one of the two witnesses in Revelation 11 ?! Or am I getting youixed up with someone else.

The two witnesses are "two lampstands", and in earlier chapter, a lampstand is a CHURCH - a called-out assembly; also they are the two olive trees, the same ones Zechariah saw in his vision, and back in his time it was Zerubabel and Joshua - "Out of Babylon" and "Salvation". Then you think about the New Covenant in Jer. 31:31-34 with the Two Houses of Israel, which was ratified through the blood of Christ, you connect all the dots, I think it's pretty reasonable to draw a conclusion - these two witnesses are two church leaders, one Gentile and Jewish, representing the two houses of Israel, which could probably also be the only two good churches among the seven - Smyrna and Philadelphia. Whether they are Moses and Elijah, though, that remains to be seen.

There are many interpretations. But ultimately, they are the Two Prophets of God. Hidden to most, revealed to a few.

The Two Witnesses
Rev 11:1; Then there was given me a measuring rod like a staff; and someone said, "Get up and measure the temple of God and the altar, and those who worship in it.
Rev 11:2; "Leave out the court which is outside the temple and do not measure it, for it has been given to the nations; and they will tread under foot the holy city for forty-two months.
Rev 11:3; "And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."
Rev 11:4; These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.
Rev 11:5; And if anyone wants to harm them, fire flows out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way.
Rev 11:6; These have the power to shut up the sky, so that rain will not fall during the days of their prophesying; and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.
Rev 11:7; When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them.
Rev 11:8; And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
Rev 11:9; Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.
Rev 11:10; And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
Rev 11:11; But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them.
Rev 11:12; And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." Then they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them.

Who are the two witnesses? I've heard a number of explanations. Some say the church is one of them, the problem with this is...
First the two witnesses will only "witness" to the world for 42 months ( verse 3 above ) or 1260 days ( verse 4 above ). So that means the church hasn't been a witness to the world
for the last 2,000+ years? Also it says if anyone wants to harm these two, they will be killed by fire coming out of their mouth and killing them. This doesn't sound like something the church does.
Also the two witnesses have the power to turn water into blood and cause "every plague" to strike the earth as often as they desire. Does the church cause plagues to fall on the earth ( the enemies of God )?
It seems that some these plagues are similar to old testament plagues that Moses and Elijah did. Turning water into blood, stopping rain, etc...
Some believe Enoch and Elijah are the two witnesses because they never died a physical death. Yet these two witnesses will be killed ( verses 7 and 8 ) maybe because they didn't die before?

Another problem with one of the witnesses being "the church" here is...

1Thes 4:14; For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
1Thes 4:15; For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.

Some Christians ( the church ) will be alive when Jesus returns. But yet, the witnesses are killed and sent to heaven in verse 12 above. How can any Christians remain, if they are all dead?

Mat 24:40 "Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.
Mat 24:41 "Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.
Mat 24:42 "Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.

Yes, of course, but if you want an interpretation soly based on the bible, or in other words, let the bible interpret itself, then this is what you've got regarding the two witnesses - always have been and always will be the two houses of Israel.

May the Lord fill us with His wisdom.

As i said , some of the interpretation is silly . People read and read the scripture all thier lives , yet have 0 understanding of it.

The fire that comes from the Witnesses mouths, is the Word of God.

Have you never read, "the word of God is like a fire in my heart".

As for Elijah, remember what Jesus said about John the Baptist. He told the Apostles that John was Elijah. He also said "no greater a man born was John". And Jesus said that Elijah would come again"

What Jesus is telling us. John had the spirit of Elijah, and that another will come who also has the spirit of Elijah.

Elijah is in heaven. I have spoken with him many times. He is a teacher to me.

The Two Witnesses are born, have mothers and families. Just as John the Baptist was born and grew up in a family.

The Two Witnesses are alive today. Growing in knowledge, faith, wisdom, and spirit. They have all the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and those Gifts are endless.

You have no idea, lol.

I realize, the Witnesses have not been revealed yet. The Lord has told me, that i would show many who i am. But they would not believe.

And how could i expect you to not be incredulous. If i were in your place, i would keep an eye open. Be cautious. Use my Gift of Discernment.

Of course that would prove interesting, as the Holy Spirit will not confirm who I am, to anyone. But a strong discernment will also discover that the Holy Spirit will not deny me either.
