Does Anybody Believe in Hell?

Goodness -- no Wonder you're confused. I would be Too If I was trying to 'wade' through all of that.
I'm not the least bit confuse. Everything I've said has been shown with sound logical arguments from Scripture.

Ya know -- there Is more to Scripture than logical arguments. -- more like "let the Word of God dwell in you richly"

That's hard to do if a person doesn't understand it. Logic is part of God's creation. He gave it to us so that we could understand things.

God's Word speaks to the heart.

Psalm 62:8 "Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out you heart before Him; God is a refuge for us."

Not sure what this has to do with the discussion. Are you rejecting logic?

I'm saying that there's MORE to God's Word than logic. Not rejecting logic. But you don't appear to be seeing the 'heart' part of it. You're Only focusing On logic. Or so it appears.

Because logical arguments are how we know we understand something correctly. If something is illogical it's wrong.

Well -- the conception of Jesus Christ by a virgin through the Holy Spirit Isn't logical. But it Did happen.

Daniel and the lions den isn't Logical but It Also happened.

God forming Adam out of the dust of the earth / blowing into him the breath of life and his then becoming a living soul Isn't logical , either.

Amen Sister !!

It seems like you're rejecting logic. If we reject logic we can say anything is true. Those who wrote the Westminster Confession rejected logic when they said that God ordained all things yet He isn't the author of sin. In order to keep their doctrine they defied logic. If we defy logic we can say the dead are alive, a place that doesn't burn forever can have people burning in it forever, or whatever. The Sky's the limit.

You aren't answering my question. Did those events in Scripture happen or not?
It wasn't a question. It was a statement. However, yes they happened. They're not illogical as you suggest. God has the ability to do them. If you told me that you created man from the dust that would be illogical, because humans don't have that power.

However, I do have a question to ask you. I've made quite a few sound Biblical arguments. So far you haven't, but can you show me any that aren't logical? If so please point them out. If you can't show that they are not logical, then why don't you believe them?

I guess that after a while I just get tired of your 'sound logical Biblical arguments'. You don't seem to Appreciate God's Word. Life isn't made up of 'pure logic'

The first sentence is my reaction
The second sentence is your comment that I've been responding back To. Specifically "if something is illogical it's wrong". Thus I brought up those specific situations. None of which were Logical. Which means they were Illogical as per your comment.

Which also suggests that they didn't happen. But you do concede that they Did happen.

They are logical. If God created all that is, including logic, then surely He has the power to override it. Thus, those things are logical.

Logic was brought up because it's how we reason. It's how we look at the Bible and determine what it means. If we know that dead people can't speak, then when we look at the Bible we conclude that dead people can't speak. If we see something that uses dead people speaking we know it's a not literal, but rather an allegory or some other figure. If we know that dead people can't speak yet claim that the Bible is literally teaching that dead people speak we've come to an illogical and incorrect conclusion. We're not supposed to throw logic and common sense out the window when we start reading the Bible.

But you didn't answer my question. Which, if any, of my arguments isn't logical? If they are logical why don't you believe them?

Greetings,
Yes I believe in hell, just as I believe in heaven.
Some got somewhat off OP I'd say.
