Job is proof enough satin has to ask God permission and there are other scriptures also that support it. Hmmm One needs to understand what is going on before one makes blanket statements like this. For one thing, God is not in control in the Earth...At the time of Job, Satan is in control. Satan is the master of the Earth...Adam gave him dominion. That means that Satan did NOT need permission. Job allowed his fear for his kids rule him...That is a sin. Sin opens the doors to Satan's attacks. Job did bring it on himself....rather he opened the doors for the attack. Get used to it. Job WAS a good man, but he was only a man. He put his pants on one at a time just like we do....

God is in Total Control of Heaven and this is why there is no curse or sickness or evil etc.

Man is in control over much of the affairs of this world and that is why evil runs rapid.

Thy reign come: Thy will come to pass, as in heaven also on the earth.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

So to say God is in Total Control in this world would be in Violation of what Jesus Told us to pray. His Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
If God did what ever then it would be as deception telling us to pray His will be done here in this earth as His Will is Done there in Heaven.

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have itmore abundantly.

So when these things happen that you say God gave permission to......are they stealing health (sickness) or anything else or destroying or killing even your trust or faith.......then it's simply satan.

There are so many other scriptures to show all this.

Im sorry if I have offended you. I do agree indeed. All of us need to pray and discern what the bible is actually saying. From where I grew up, it is in my nature to protect everyone. I have had to defend myself my whole life. Forgive me if I have wronged anybody. I didnt delete my Facebook to come here and argue(I DID DELETE MY FACEBOOK BECAUSE IT WAS UNGODLY PRAISE JESUS) I came here to learn more of scripture and have a better understanding of it. We are on earth, He is in Heaven. If we do our part He will agree without having to come down here.
Jesus taught to pray His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. When we so pray in His will He must comply, for all we ask in His will is promised. Too many people just don't have much confidence they are at His will enough, or know His will to dare believe for and ask. Folks want God to get the Devil off their back when the way for us to that is made.

So no, Satan doesn't have authority over us if we use the authority we have over him in Jesus' name. God won't override us about that, permitting Satan to harm us if we are in covenant, using the power Jesus gives us. God keeps Hi word and holiness. Job didn't have that name, actually none had it in the old covenant days. They appealed directly to Father God mostly for mercy.

Jesus triumphed over Satan and all his demons through His work of redemption, particularly by canceling the power of sin at the cross. (Matt. 12:28-29; Eph. 1:19-23; Col. 2:13-15) Satan is already condemned. (John 12:31; 16:11; Rev. 20:7-10)

The principle of authority is that we are in the kingdom of Christ. Jesus is Lord and head of all power and authority. Satan has absolutely no legitimate authority over the believer. We are free from Satan’s claims upon us. All sins are forgiven, all condemnation is ended, all cultic vows, promises, covenants, etc., were broken when a person comes into Christ's sphere of authority (Col. 1:13-14; 2:9-15). One must never compromise this principle by saying that sin gives a demon legal right to invade a believer or attach itself to your soul. Believe in God; disbelieve Satan.

Our primary weapons against demonic stratagems are faithful application of the fundamentals of the faith (Eph. 6:10-20; 1 Pet. 5:6-9). Light expels darkness.

The only spiritual information to be trusted is from God Himself. This comes through the Bible interpreted naturally. All other knowledge, information, experience is guilty until proven innocent and suspect even then. Be particularly cautious about deeper meanings or uses of passages out of context. These are the same methods the dark world uses. Any information that comes from demons is always presumed a lie or facts given for dark purposes.

Basic patterns of ministry are found in the Bible. Patterns that differ substantially are always suspect.

Avoid every form of contact with the demonic including astrology, new age paraphernalia, demonic movies and music, charms, séances, games, Ouija, etc. (Lev. 19:26, 31; 20:6; Deut. 18:9-13; Acts 19:18-20)

Using deliverance as a substitute for dealing with our flesh or in place of spiritual disciplines, is dangerous.

Most sins don’t need any kind of demonic involvement. Demons often claim credit for sin or a tragedy, trying to profess more power than they possess. Allowing this to go unchallenged may lead to an unwarranted sense of helplessness on the part of a believer.

One must be very careful not to give Satan and his demons too much attention. This can lead to fearfulness or overestimation of his power, to a fascination with evil, or even a kind of satanic worship. Don't know anything more about the demonic than is pastorally necessary. The Bible says nothing specific about demons' origins, hierarchies, territorial jurisdiction, names, or specific functions. That suggests that we don't need to know these things for success in spiritual warfare. It also suggests that we curb our natural curiosity about such things.

18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

We are on earth, He is in Heaven. If we do our part He will agree without having to come down here.
Jesus taught to pray His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. When we so pray in His will He must comply, for all we ask in His will is promised. Too many people just don't have much confidence they are at His will enough, or know His will to dare believe for and ask. Folks want God to get the Devil off their back when the way for us to that is made.
James 4:1-8 (KJV)
1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

So no, Satan doesn't have authority over us if we use the authority we have over him in Jesus' name. God won't override us about that, permitting Satan to harm us if we are in covenant, using the power Jesus gives us. God keeps Hi word and holiness. Job didn't have that name, actually none had it in the old covenant days. They appealed directly to Father God mostly for mercy.

On the seventh day God was finished with his work which he had made, so he rested (retired) on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
