Does Jesus love satan?

I think of myself to be as exactly as God made me and blessed me.
And that is His glory and it is magnificent.

Now if you think of yourself as nothing...maybe it is because you are nothing to God.

But to God I am His magnificent offspring in His own image.
Your youth and having little knowledge of the truth have made you open season for the enemy to use you to tear people down and not build people up which is what "love" does.

God is not going to punish me for hating His enemies an causing them to fail against Him.

Maybe God will reward you for loving and helping His enemies against Him.

We shall all see someday.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Luk 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
Luk 6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

You love your enemies. That would mean that you want them to succeed
Evidently you were at one time an "enemy" of God. Somebody "loved" you telling you the gospel of your salvation. Do you think they wanted you to "succeed"?

Col 1:21 At one time you were separated from God. You were enemies in your minds because of your evil ways.

Dear Brothers,
I believe it's time for everyone to step back for awhile.
I'll give you all some time to catch your breath, so you can pray and meditate upon His Word that you might gain not just understanding on the subject, but how to communicate with each other in a loving fashion that will elicit growth, and not create animosity.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Rom 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

How did Jesus overcome evil with good?

Mat 14:10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.
Mat 14:11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.
Mat 14:12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

Mat 14:13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.
Mat 14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

Hey Nick, Do you love Satan?

Hey Nick, Do you love Satan?
Dear Gry9,
The answer would be no. What does good have to do with evil? Not that I'm good, but surely the one in me is, as I try to walk the path set before me by God. Mankind, is corrupt and until they come to Christ Jesus, really know no better. However, Lucifer did know, and choose not to obey, and so as Satan has no love for God's creation (humanity) who has access to a salvation that he doesn't. For he is already condemned.

I guess the question would be, can or should one love a creation that attempts to keep one separate from our Heavenly Father, who loves us so much, and gave so much in order to bring us to Him?
I say no, but others may rationalize it differently, by bringing Mankind into it. However, I would say that Satan is not Mankind, and cannot be saved, whereas Mankind has the opportunity to be.

Our focus should be in spreading the Gospel to the ends of the World, which includes our own little cubbyholes that we happen to reside in.

I was just going to answer your question with a simple "No", but felt moved to add a little more to it. :-) Oh, by the way...Welcome to Talk Jesus!!!!

John 6:70
Jesus answered them,
Have not I chosen you twelve,
and one of you is a devil?

Do you love the devils?

Matt 5:24 "But I say unto you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.........."
That was then...this is now...

Revelation 2:23
And I will kill her children with death;
and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts:
and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

John 6:70
Jesus answered them,
Have not I chosen you twelve,
and one of you is a devil?

Do you love the devils?
And?
You do not speak for me, Nick. My focus is on my God.
If the one in you is good then why are you not good?
Dear Gry9,
Share your testimony and maybe, I'll answer your questions. I've been here for years, and my testimony is available to all who would like to read it in my bio. You have shared nothing of yourself or your testimony, and have only asked questions.

If you will notice in my closing I did not identify you as either Brother or Sister, because of the very fact that I do not know you, as anything but one who seeks conflict.

I do not know you, as anything but one who seeks conflict.
I follow Him.

Matthew 10:34
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:
I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Nick, since you took the liberty to measure out to me your opinion of me
I will measure it back to you... I do not know you, as anything but one who
masquerades as a child of God.

Hmmm... just curious... why do you think that?

We have defensive weapons, and one offensive weapon.

Eph 6:10; Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
Eph 6:11; Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
Eph 6:12; For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:13; Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
Eph 6:14; Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Eph 6:15; and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Eph 6:16; in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Eph 6:17; And take the helmet of salvation,...

all of these are defensive weapons... but we have one offensive weapon. We have a sword.

...and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (end of Eph 6:17; )

James 4:7; Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

I don't know that I would be too hasty to make friends with Satan.

James 4:4; You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God

I assure you, Satan does not want to be your friend, nor does he have your best interest in mind.

1Pet 5:8; Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
1Pet 5:9; But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world.
In the gospel of peace we are called to love our enemies, Romans 12:20 On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head. Acts of love and kindness are the weapons of a Christian.

I follow Him.

Matthew 10:34
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:
I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Dear Member Gry9,
How can I have an opinion of you when I know nothing about you?
If you had read my last post you would have an idea of what you could do to find out a little more of me or in addition to that you are welcome to ask any of the members who have interacted with me, and they might be able to share with you a bit more.

However, you need to understand that without introduction, and just joining TJ, making a statement to a Staff Member "masquerades as a child of God" is bad manners and totally unacceptable. I'll close this post as a Moderator, and not just with my name. Keep in mind that even in the early church there were letters of introduction that a church would know that a person being sent to them could be trusted, or should be provided support because of the confidence the writer had in them as a Sister, Brother, etc. We don't require that in these days, and so ask little here at TJ, as it pertains to interactions with each other, and that is be respectful.

As a warning, if you continue in this vein, you'll be given warning points, and accumulate enough of them and the system will ban you. I do not want this for you, for I'm sure you have much to share concerning Scripture, but understand that your behavior will dictate whether you stay, or continue on your path somewhere else.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Thank you Trevor, that has answered my question perfectly clearly. I had no knowledge that our 'weapons' are of love and peace etc, that defuse the weapons of the enemy. That is very enlightening and something I can call on when I have any future problems with the enemy.
And I can honestly say I would feed him if he ever turned up at my home hungry. He's trying to make amends. I just pray that his emissaries will follow his lead.
Thank you brother.
Who is trying to make amends? Satan? Satan doesn't love you on Christmas. Satan wants to drag us all to hell. I am sorry but I do not want to eat with satan. Can I toss him a sandwich and say " Begone satan!"?

Now if you think of yourself as nothing...maybe it is because you are nothing to God.

But to God I am His magnificent offspring in His own image.

I would advise you to pay no mind to anything written in a book by men unless it is the truth.

Especially if they say it is from God.

Look at your own life...how is that working out for you?
How can you come on here and be so rude to someone? You don't know that person! I can understand knocking the content but never attack the person personally. That shows cruelty and your arrogance shows pride which are both not of God. I suggest you check yourself as your attitude puts you early twenties if that and that equals zero life experience. You may have had a rough upbringing but who hasn't? Life experience will humble you before others and compassion ( or lack of) shows others who sent you. Would Jesus speak like that to someone? If what you are telling someone is a far cry from what Jesus would say- maybe you should re-evaluate what you are saying. Don't tear people down. Build them up with understanding and kindness. You can do better than that and if you are blessed good for you but material blessings come from both places. Remember satan can give you the world also. The Bible was not written by men. It was written through Men. There is a big difference.
