Are you sure? Does Calvin and Luther have your same beliefs? lol
I call it as I see it.Are you sure? Does Calvin and Luther have your same beliefs? lol
What denomination are you?I call it as I see it.
I understand now what you mean about in Christ we are made alive and it doesn't matter what color hair we have. People still associate it with something bad or wrong though.1 Corinthians 15:22
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
I'm just saying that Esau having red hair seems to have given red haired people a bad wrap, and that the red beans he ate is why the name Edom. Seems that the red lentils were the deciding factor though more so than his red hair.I said earlier I was speaking of “spiritual” things.
1 Corinthians 2:13
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
I’m non-denominationalWhat denomination are you?
The Lord does not judge by outward appearances, and neither should we.I understand now what you mean about in Christ we are made alive and it doesn't matter what color hair we have. People still associate it with something bad or wrong though.
Like I said before, the color “red”shown in The first man Adam, and in the firstborn Esau, and in the scarlet colored beast, and red Dragon was for a “sign” to symbolize the first “nature” working in man.I'm just saying that Esau having red hair seems to have given red haired people a bad wrap, and that the red beans he ate is why the name Edom. Seems that the red lentils were the deciding factor though more so than his red hair.
It was just because you said the thing about Esau and red and sin.The Lord does not judge by outward appearances, and neither should we.
John 7:24
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
2 Corinthians 10:7
Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? if any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.
I don't see it that way though.Like I said before, the color “red”shown in The first man Adam, and in the firstborn Esau, and in the scarlet colored beast, and red Dragon was for a “sign” to symbolize the first “nature” working in man.
The color “red” in them symbolized “sin”
Isaiah 1:18
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your “sins be as scarlet”, they shall be as white as snow; though they “be red like crimson,” they shall be as wool.
Not even non denominational is without influence from a specific denomination.I’m non-denominational
It’s the chicken or the egg argument, which comes first.@StewardoftheMystery
God of course knows who would believe and obey Him, but we still aren't saved until we believe and obey Him, and that is whom He chooses.
I have not read their teachings, I just read my Bible and let the Lord give me understanding in His Word by His Spirit of Truth. You have experience and acknowledge about Calvin and Luther's teachings?
You don't believe your beliefs are like theirs when it comes to electing and foreknowledge?
Very few do.I don't see it that way though.
Of course the chicken. Adam and Eve were made as adults. It’s the chicken or the egg argument, which comes first.
The Bible doesn't say it. You would have to convince me with the Bible. The scripture says because of the red soup being red is why Edom, and nothing about him being red haired symbolizing sin or the soup color meaning sin.Very few do.

THE BIBLE DOES TELL US WE HAVE A CHOICE, we choose.
John 7:17 Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.
James 4:4 You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.
Isaiah 65:11-12 "But as for you who forsake the LORD and forget my holy mountain, who spread a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny, I will destine you for the sword, and you will all bend down for the slaughter; for I called but you did not answer, I spoke but you did not listen. You did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me."
1 Peter 4:3 For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do--living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.
Joshua 24:15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
Deuteronomy 30:19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live
