I entered the church to hear the Word of God (the wisdom of Solomon), and all I hear is the world...sigh
I entered the church in hopes of a spiritual stirring...in hopes of finding like minded people.
Again I felt like I walked into a coffin.
I found the world and all the gadgets that come with it.
All the overhead devises, with laptops to preach from.
A simple Bible is good enough; but they have to bring the worldly rhetoric into the church. And take time to fight with it to work correctly.
Dogs running around in the house. Jesus would have done flipped over the tables and ran everybody out.
Now, they praise men first, singing happy birthdays and such. They have wasted 30 minutes or more on garbage, before they even get to the (message).
And I found no message, just a worldly man who wants to talk; and if the Word is mentioned, it is watered down.
However, he can preach the cross.
For over two months now, I hear the same thing. Jesus died on the cross and loves you so much.
But preacher there's more, there is so much more.
Oh no, I am not allowed to speak. No, I can not testify. NO!!!

Those folks are searching for the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
And preacher tells them the God isn't asking you to go and die for Him. WHAT!!!?
We die to self everyday; and if it be Father's will, we will die in righteousness serving Him, just like Stephen did.
So what does pick up your cross and follow me, mean (to him)?
They do not know the Way, the Truth, or the Life.
Most are hoping the Holy Spirit shows up today; and are teaching classes...! sigh
So I work with the preacher, as God gives an open door to do so.
But he is a proud man. A spirit of pride a mile wide.
As the Lord leads, so I do.

I tell preacher that preaching the message of salvation to a saved people is not going to go anywhere.
He agreed and said, until we teach them to reach the lost...
And went on to say that he is training an army for HIS work.
Let's teach them to proclaim the gospel of Christ, God has the army already.
No doubt...when I proclaim the gospel of Christ, there are 10,000 angels beside me; and the HOLY GHOST within me.

So yes, scripture is True...a great falling away has been happening for 2000 plus years.
And the farther away from His day we get, the more diluted the Word has gotten.


I bless God for them; they are doing the best they can.
They are doing what they think they are suppose to do.
Follow the leader to slaughter, you know.

There is a principle of not casting pearls before swine, which pretty much means stop talking to people who won't listen to you, or in other words, there truly are people out there whom one should just ignore. It's a good sign when Christians need only accept the voluntary suffering that comes from being annoyed. (As opposed to torture.)

A long time ago I was in a bible study where a fellow was glorifying God that he overcame being annoyed by anything ( I was hearing a lot of Buddhist like words). So since he was sitting directly to my left, I lightly poked him in the shoulder with the sharp end of my pocketknife blade (literally). And as he kept speaking (looking for validation and acclamation from the others for his newfound blessedness), I just went "poke.... poke.... poke."

He became annoyed.

Now if he had just calmly asked what I was doing and if I would please stop, I would have conceded the point (metaphorically). Rather, he finally had to admit that he was mistaken about his "overcoming."

Bias confirmation is a real thing, and people react violently, whether in speech or action, when shown to be wrong. To acknowledge that one is wrong means that this part of you that believed this wrong thing must die, and trust me, most all believers have their core-identity-of-self intrinsically tied in with their beliefs (doctrines, etc.). Instead, to preserve that part of their life, they react with condemnation mostly from an emotional state - a combination of hate and insecurity.

The believer, however, is called to forgive. But forgiveness will be painful because it requires voluntary suffering (whether one is right or wrong) rather than justification. In the parables of Jesus, he speaks of forgiving debts that are owed. And note that this person doing the forgiving (typically the king) is Never paid back. The King voluntarily suffers the loss, when in compassion and mercy, he forgives the debt (which never gets paid back).

It would seem that plough is advocating that you take an ADVIL when finding yourself to be annoyed.

( I'm not sure that's wise medical advice, though.)

But I am forced to amend my previous post. Sometimes condemnation can take the form of IGNORING others and walking away in high dudgeon, rather than lashing out in speech or physical action.

Yes, Jesus is now within this house, the temple of God, the body of the believer is where he dwells.
He told us to come out of the house made with hands; cause we will not find Him there.
Could be because of the great falling away.
God wasn't found in those places when Jesus came.....
Now, that very house that was made with hands are the ones that sought to kill HIM.
They paid a greedy disciple to tell them where He would be.
And sent Roman soldiers to take HIM and bring HIM to them.
Now, Pilate found no fault in HIM; and desire to release HIM, but NO, they cried the more to crucify HIM!!!
They were happy to let the murderer go, though.

They would not take HIM in public, while the people were gathered. For they feared the people.
But they would go apprehend HIM in secret, for now they were in control. Now, the people feared them.

Or why do you think HE says...
Fear no man, and what he will do to you.
Once he has killed there is nothing more he can do.
But I will tell you whom ye shall fear,

The wisdom of Solomon is the Word of God; still, right now today.
If you want to know what the world is made of go read Ecclesiastes; Solomon the preacher.
His wisdom is still alive through Christ today.
