Falling away

@Rhema @Twistie
why not just recieve wrong and go on....cause neither one of you are right.
tearing at each other like a couple of unruly devils; neither of you in scripture, speaking it or doing it.
neither of you, apparently, KNOW HIM.

The problem I see with Rhema's posts is she seems to be on a crusade to expose people on here who she believes to be in a cult. Maybe she sees anyone with a different point of view as a potential cult member? Idk. But what's clear to me is that this "crusade" is not directed by the Spirit of God.

Why does Twistie need to justify her decision of allowing only God to teach her? Why do I need to justify whether my "inner knowing" is from God?

Its a fruitless endeavor of gaslighting and resembles a spiritual attack from the enemy of our souls more than anything.

Not to mention there are non-Christians watching this forum from time to time and we have become clowns infighting each other and bringing scorn to the Gospel of Jesus.

As Tucker Carlson said, "Reasonable people who are acting out of honorable motives should be happy to explain themselves."

Now I've known for decades that people confuse their emotions with the Holy Spirit. I've also known for decades that most all people think with their emotions rather than with their reason. It's obvious when one starts to look - really look - at the "reasons" given for any (any) particular belief or behaviour. Very little, if any, is based on fact, and very little, if any, is based on data.

And I can understand why, as there are no mechanical compartments in the cloud of electrical activity bouncing around inside the brain into which emotion and reason can be separated. Emotional thoughts are not tagged green, while thoughts of reason tagged blue. There's no easy color coding. They're all zipping around within this grey matter, the structure of which we truly know little.

But Reason and critical thinking skills have to be learned. Emotions do not. Reason does not need to be controlled, while emotions do. Math is hard, anger is not. And this is why people who are born with poor thinking abilities will embrace "intuition" or "feeling" or other vague and inexpressible "reasons" to believe something that is fundamentally irrational. And even intelligent well educated people will let their thoughts become clouded with emotion. It can be clearly seen in this thread.

But I've found that if one is truly unable to express or describe some mystical or holy or spiritual experience, then it is probably a figment of his or her imagination rather than a Truth, since Truth by definition can be rationally communicated.

And to elevate the mystical to the principle determining factor of Truth is merely to elevate one's own ignorance.

Again, as Tucker Carlson said, "Reasonable people who are acting out of honorable motives should be happy to explain themselves."

But instead of doing this, every participant in this thread, as far as I can tell, everyone has instead decided to hurl out accusations and emotional vomit against me, in order to avoid the clear and obvious evidence that NO ONE can or will describe this mystical holy spirit experience.

And that should tell you something.

Experiences in itself does not even fall into the category of truth or lie. You should not be classifying people as frauds just because you don't believe in what they experienced. You have never experienced it the way they did, how are you so sure their experiences are false? You don't. Affirming that you do is arrogance. You are free to not believe in what people experience, but please have the basic decency not to lump experiences into the category of truth. They are not the same. Truth in itself is immutable, people's experiences on the other hand are all different even with the exact same event.

I have lots of experiences in spiritual attack, and I know when I encounter spiritual attack. Your last reply to me generated that exact experience. I know what I felt in the spirit. If you believe this is hurling accusations and emotional vomit, then you should consider how you are responding to people first.

The ultimate question is, are you building up people's faith by what you are doing now? We are told to build up one another's faith, not tear them down. But the entire time you are questioning the faith of others because you believe their experiences cannot be proven as valid. You should question yourself as to why you are doing all this before you question others.

I hope God brings you to repentance before it is too late. This is probably going to be my last response to you, because as much as I want to help you see where you are going wrong, I am not going to allow Satan to attack me relentlessly.
