As Tucker Carlson said, "Reasonable people who are acting out of honorable motives should be happy to explain themselves."

Now I've known for decades that people confuse their emotions with the Holy Spirit. I've also known for decades that most all people think with their emotions rather than with their reason. It's obvious when one starts to look - really look - at the "reasons" given for any (any) particular belief or behaviour. Very little, if any, is based on fact, and very little, if any, is based on data.
And I can understand why, as there are no mechanical compartments in the cloud of electrical activity bouncing around inside the brain into which emotion and reason can be separated. Emotional thoughts are not tagged green, while thoughts of reason tagged blue. There's no easy color coding. They're all zipping around within this grey matter, the structure of which we truly know little.
But Reason and critical thinking skills have to be learned. Emotions do not. Reason does not need to be controlled, while emotions do. Math is hard, anger is not. And this is why people who are born with poor thinking abilities will embrace "intuition" or "feeling" or other vague and inexpressible "reasons" to believe something that is fundamentally irrational. And even intelligent well educated people will let their thoughts become clouded with emotion. It can be clearly seen in this thread.
But I've found that if one is truly unable to express or describe some mystical or holy or spiritual experience, then it is probably a figment of his or her imagination rather than a Truth, since Truth by definition can be rationally communicated.
And to elevate the mystical to the principle determining factor of Truth is merely to elevate one's own ignorance.
Again, as Tucker Carlson said, "Reasonable people who are acting out of honorable motives should be happy to explain themselves."
But instead of doing this, every participant in this thread, as far as I can tell, everyone has instead decided to hurl out accusations and emotional vomit against me, in order to avoid the clear and obvious evidence that NO ONE can or will describe this mystical holy spirit experience.
And
that should tell you something.
