when he was a Defense Attorney he defended some of them. He also defended Donald Trump (a party buddy of Epstein) in a different case. In fact he defended a lot of people (that is what one does when working as a defense attorney), Half the people you defend are absolutely guilty but YOU have to treat them in your defense as if they are innocent. So these articles do not say he was one of Epstein's party buddies but we KNOW Trump, Clinton, Leon Black, woody Allen, Roger Stone, and others were.

no it isn't although that was one possibility for taking them (illegally). But he violated his Presidential commitment to the United States and its Constitution. That is not a farce, he was caught. He stole them because he did not acquire proper authorization and then kept them despite multiple requests to return them (since he had lost and was no longer the President). the problem is that even if he still was the President he still could not take classified documents away and keep them (PERIOD)!

Though in some parts of South America and some 3rd World Countries this type of thing happens all the time, between political parties. However, I will say as the freedoms of what is supposed to be the bastillion of freedom in the World USA goes, so does the rest of the World. China, Russia in ascendency currently while the USA is crumbling, and eating their own. Scary time for the World.

I've read some interesting responses here, though again history is telling me that there are more than meets the eye as it pertains to what is going on.
First and foremost, it is only conjecture what was pulled from the house, if you want to call it a house, more like a palatial estate. It is not known whether the documents actually TS/SCI SCIF material level/access are required, or even if they're still have the level of classification attributed to them if they are. Since Agents normally are dealing with subject/markings only. They are not subject matter experts, nor classification experts. That is not what they do for a living. They are hunter gatherers in what is going on. Another agency will make the determination on the material in question. Whether it was taken/planted is also conjecture/speculation.

Plus, if you don't think something fishy is going on here as far as the methodology of the raid is concerned, then you'd be concerned about the material that Former President Obama still hasn't turned over, though he did turn over some over in January of this year! Yep 2022!!! And he left office when??? I don't see anyone raiding, searching with warrants his house, and I'm sure is more like a Mansion!

Everything so far is conjecture, and both sides and the media is playing this up to show either persecution of who they support, or justice finally being done on the Former President whom they dislike.

Observe it, but don't feed into it either. We're not here as participants, but rather Ambassadors of the Kingdom of God who we are citizens of. Not this zany, crazy, world that grows darker by the minute.

Present what appears upsetting to you, but don't take it to heart. Clearly there is a hate for the former president and that can't be denied. However, whether he did or did not do what he is accused of, we won't know until he goes before a court of law, if it ever does! Remember in the USA people are supposed innocent until proven guilty!

So, keep praying that both sides come to their senses. For if this country falls, which I do believe one day it will. Then a great leap forward into the pit of darkness will have happened.

What that means for us believers are that times will get harder still, but our Lord who Reigns, will be returning that much sooner!!! On that there is no doubt!!!

Breitbart is not a reliable source. Steve Bannon the white supremacist that stole over 1 million dollars from the build the wall fund is its producer. So until they publish the content of the Search Warrant (which no one is obligated to do) we will not know its full content or range of implication. Right now all we know for sure is he stole them (did not acquire proper authorization) kept them (even after receiving a Subpoena to return them) and he destroyed some of them (without permission from the archive), and some of the documents he removed illegally were classified materials. All of which are crimes and not all are covered by the Espionage Act of 1917 (if that is even actually involved).

Secondly, no! Hillary had the charges dropped because they could obtain sufficient evidence in the investigation. So as far as the law goes she committed no crime (but we know better). However DJT got caught red handed. That is totally different, the charges should not be dropped. He did commit the crimes (no question).

If Bannon's rag sheet is correct then show us the Warrant so we can see that is all of it.

First off, what article? Please do not say Breitbart's. Also I have no problem at all if Hunter committed a crime (like stealing money from a charity to help kids with cancer) let him be arrested and tried like Eric and Ivanka should also be. Even if your daddy is a Washington big wig you should be subject to the same laws that you or I would be. But whatever your kids do you are not responsible (Ezekiel 18). I didn’t change the subject, as these stories are all connected. It just proves the point I was making in my opening post about government corruption. Clearly there is a bias and a double standard in judgment shown in these stories.

My concern is not about Trump or Hillary, or Biden: it is about all the lies, deceit, propaganda, and bias judgment being exhibited in this corrupt government. And also in the corrupt mainstream media, which both are connected by a liberal socialist ideology and agenda.

This is the kind of stuff you would expect to see in Russia and China, but sadly it is now taken hold in the US as well.

The way I understood it from another article was, they came to Trump and his attorneys a couple of months ago, and Trump willingly handed over 15 boxes of documents.

But the mainstream media is saying they had to seize those 15 boxes of documents.

The so called reason they now gave for raiding Trumps house with the FBI is because they said they thought there might be more documents that Trump is not handing over, and that he was not cooperating with them.

It sounds to me like the Dems are on a fishing expedition by raiding Trumps house after he had already handed over 15 boxes of documents.

What might that be?

It appears that now a days all of them have an agenda. They lean left, far left, right, far right, up, down, what have you.
Objective reporting which just provides the news and allows the reader to come to their own conclusion based upon analyzing the information provided no longer exists. That is why discernment is necessary when reviewing the news feeds that one goes to. One must first identify the leanings of the news source. Then you must know if the object of the story is seen in a positive or negative fashion by the leanings of said news source. Next you must determine if that particular object is now no longer viewed positively or negatively, again by the particular leanings of the cadre in question.

Included in this is that people have a tendency to read sources that closely aligns with their own particular leanings. We can't help but do this, unless we enjoy winding up with an ulcer! Believers are not immune to this either. We also have a tendency to align with news sources that agree with our religious beliefs, which of course can also have categories of liberal/conservative as well.

Any true investigative reporting if done correctly may just as easily land you in the courts as has been the case for those exposing the selling of body parts by Planned Parenthood. Since there is no impartiality or even any attempt at it now a days, this type of reporting, will eventually upset, someone either on the left or right. Thereby getting themselves labeled as this or that from the angry followers!!!

So, though we can try to believe that we are upholders of law and justice, it always seen through the eyes of biases we see as truths. Sometimes we are right, but also, we can be wrong, though we are loathe to admit to the latter! Look to see how many times a person apologizes, even here on Talk Jesus amongst even brethren and you'll begin to see what I'm talking about!

Anyway, good luck (is there such a thing?) with finding a reliable much less an unbiased one when presenting information that is being discussed here. When you have such a polarizing individual as the former president, your chance of finding objective unbiased reporting is probably less than zero!

Personally, I just hold on to Scripture, and try to weight what I read in the world against God's Word. If it lands me in a conservative camp today, and tomorrow in a liberal one. So, be it.

I'm assuming, but I don't want to speak for my brothers, is that they are saying how
are we approaching this topic from a Christian perspective.

However, with that question, which is legitimate, one may inquire, has there
been a standard of expectation that previous news postings were approached from a Christian perspective?

For example, when the overturning of Roe vs Wade was in the news, I can see how it relates to Christianity
because Christian's value life.

So I think what they are saying is, this isn't just a political news forum but the news from a Christian perspective.
So when members google various topics, they don't just see a political forum but one that brings it into the
Christian context.

Let’s say they get the charges to stick, and Trump is not allowed to run for re-election. Do you think they will treat the next GOP nominee for President any different than they did with Trump?
