Going from the Nursery to the Garden of Faith

There are a few cases in the scripture where Peter and where Paul both went from one place to another place. I'm sure there's all sorts of names for it, but there's no denying scripture, correct!

Those days of the Apostles are gone. No angel ministry during church age,no speaking in tongues,no raising the dead,and God only heals if it suits his purpose.
The sign of apostle are over and done with.
And certainly no out of body experiences

I don’t recall Peter on a mysterious journey.
And Paul was caught up to the third heaven to be shown things he could not tell.
There is no reason for it today. We have all the signs and information we are going to get. Now it is faith and faith alone in what we have already been shown and heard,by way of the scriptures. You can play your delusional games,but you just show how ignorant you are.

The analogy Brother Bill has used to Scripture being like food for us to eat, I see nothing wrong with.
That there are things not covered by Scripture, I also have no issue with.

Each of the above, have caveats attached to them of course, but I have not seen in his opening anything that should upset one, as his writing appears to have done.

As Jesus states he is the "Cornerstone." And all the scripture is the foundation. But we are the ones who have to grow in the Lord, and to strive to be the best that we can be in the Lord.

We have a helper in the Holy Spirit that is there to help us, guide us in the way we should walk! Was Brother Bill wrong that puts it on us to grow closer to Christ Jesus the incarnate God who is the example we have through His Word to walk like?

The Word of God existed before anything that was made existed. Faith only comes from the written Word of God or spoken directly from God himself to another person.

But nowdays, if someone says they received some words from God, they are too proud supposedly, as if God has been muted and is unable to speak anymore other than what was said in scripture. Its really sad to see this in brothers and sister in Christ. Christ is the word of God, but you all seem to think He better NEVER speak again anything new, or its foolishness. If you base it on the concept that Abraham spoke to God or God spoke to Abraham, what difference is that than God speaking to me?

And how is it different when you talk about how everything has to be in the scripture, then when I bring up Abraham that changes everything, as there is no scripture to be read?

It's true that the foundation is laid but the foundation isn't the whole building, and the scripture is the foundation. Jesus himself is the one that tells us to go to the Holy Spirit, he tells us that we are fulfilled in the Holy Spirit. So what is the difference between that and what I said is what God told me that the scripture is like the nursery the foundation and then you take everything that is in that Foundation and you plant it in the garden of the Holy Spirit what is the difference?

So God tells it in a different analogy, I mean how many different examples did Jesus give in scripture talked about seeds The Vines I mean come on so what if God uses dirt, he created it all anyways

actually I missed that,

what I have been referring to in this whole entire thread is the fact that Bill said God called the scripture dirt (soil), That is in direct conflict to what God actually says in his word.

God call his word seed, Gods word is what grows and produces fruit in us, we are the soil and if we are good soil Gods word will produce the fruit in us, To God be the glory. Now if we say Gods word is the soil the dirt, then we get all the glory for producing the fruit. You see we are dead,, soil is dead, it the seed of God, the Holy scripture that makes us come alive and grow. We do not grow on our own, we can do nothing with out God,

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

My question to Nick is do you not see a conflict between Gods Holy perfect word being called Dirt (soil) when God himself call it seed. DO you not see the little lie wrapped up in the truth to make it sound righteous?
