I don't believe a loving God would send people to hell.....

Matthew 15-20 ESV

A Tree and Its Fruit
15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.

B-A-C,
re: "I think that is true, but I also believe God doesn't send anyone to hell."

Maybe not hell, but Revelation 20:15 does say that anyone not found written in the Book of Life will be cast into the lake of fire. Doesn't sound like anyone is going to voluntarily be jumping into it.

re: ""...it isn't because God sent them there. It's because they chose to go there."

Given the choices why would anyone choose the one where they knew that they would be tortured 24/7 for eternity?

Which one was it that took King Solomon the author of what you quoted,
down to hell? His pride or the haughty spirit?

Clown world

Thanks for the question. In response to your question brother, I would share this:

"As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father had been."
-1st Kings 11:4

I think about when people say the phrase "I don't believe a loving God would send people to hell".

The Holy Spirit laid on my heart that when people say that, what they are really saying is,

"I believe I should be free to do what every I want to do and I should be free from the
consequences of my actions, and if there is a God of
Justice who will hold me accountable for
what I choose to do, then I want nothing with that God.
"
Yes, the Truth is that God set in motion thé standard of salvation well before création and the foundation of anything .
He is not going to change it now, or He would have done it then!!!

Now your making excuses for a sinner who hate and denied the living God
even after God appeared to Him 2 times and did for him all that He did for Him.

As I look at what has happened to you Christians and the clown world you all have created for yourselves
over the last 50 years. I say to myself how can they not know that God has departed from them and took
from them His anointing? I guess for the same reason the Jews can't see it either and are still
wondering around like bumbling fools. I mean think about it, they could build a 1000 temples
and God will never ever be with them again. Yet even without the Ark common sense would tell you
no Ark no God. God departed from them when He destroyed the first temple and took the Ark with Him
and then hid His face from them. He hated them. You Christians are in the exact same spot.

That would certainly seem to be the case, but B-A-C implies that they chose to be there - not that they were tossed there against their will.

What are you going to do seeing the situation at hand?

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.

Every Christian I talk to face to face I ask them this question.

Making excuses?

I'm simply quoting the WORD of God.
Maybe we are interpreting differently, but not excuses made, simply quoting scripture.

It amazes me when someone has had anything to do with me
and they still disrespect the Spirit within me.

This is how I learned why God removed the Israelites from His sight.
He is in the process of doing the same to you Christians right now.

I think it's wrong to use fear tactics to try and get people saved. Fear has been used to keep the masses in control in the past. The Bible doesn't teach that God sends people to the English concept of hell. The original languages don't contain the word hell. The Original languages use the words sheol or Hades, which are the grave. Everyone goes there. Tartarus is reserved for angels so that doesn't pertain to people. That leaves us with Gehenna. Gehenna is a valley outside of Jerusalem where God will burn the bodies of those who oppose Him. The Bible does not teach that God torments people or that He keeps them alive for the sole purpose of torturing them for eternity. That doctrine impugns God's character. It's a doctrine that drives people away from God.

So you believe that hell as a place of torment does not exist for people?
