Zephaniah 1:-2:3

Daniel 12:4-10
4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

When I see the words "wars and rumors of wars" I think about what happened after 911 and how much we heard about the war on terror. We had such a long period of peace and then two wars within a few years of each other.

I watch a farm program where they talk about crops and weather and projected crop carry over to the next year. America's reserve of grain is so low we are in danger of running out of soybeans for animal food till the next crop harvest. Famine for the world is knocking on the door if our crop fails.

verse 6 of the matthew text says it most clear...THESE THINGS MUST COME TO PASS...! what we are seeing now and will see in the future are needed to ushher in the Kingdom Of God on this world.. FEAR NOT it says we are all in the plan set forth by the Hand of God almighty.....Rev

It is good to remember that these signs are there to encourage us and not to scare us. It means our redeemer is drawing near. And he knows how to care for his own.

Isaiah 30

The coming of the Antichrist will be a major one or clue to where we're situated in terms of the timeframe, but for me the obvious is the re-establishment of the country Israel after 2000years of non-existence, see Jesus's prophecy of the fig-tree that withered, Matt 24........and the generation of that time......we are that generation.

Read post #2. The gathering of Israel is the sign that the day of the Lord is very,very near so the rapture must be very, very, very near!

Eric, I know you'll probably think," oh I've heard all that kind of stuff before", but, is it ok if I unload a little on you about this type of stuff, just a friendly discussion if you know what I mean.

Yes, That is a very interesting passage.

Of course if our "rapture" is similar to, or the same that of Stephen, we must always have our lamps filled, and our eyes focused on heaven, and on God's glory, and on Jesus at His right hand... Then perhaps we will also not notice the stones snuffing out the natural man.

I am hoping for all of us to go at the same time! But if Jesus says I must come alone, then let it be so.

No, only very cold rain, which was very welcome as the drought seems to be trying to come to an end for Oklahoma. To our west they received a lot ice and hail from what I understand.

As to all of us going at the same time, I wouldn't count on that. My father who was very close to the Lord died a bit over 20 years ago. My paternal grandmother who was one of my early witnesses died in 1985. They definitely are not going with anyone still walking around today. Just in case you didn't catch it, I do not believe in a rapture as most people define rapture. No problem as I do not expect everyone to agree with me. I do hope that all of us agree with God.

I believe the scripture gives us many signs especially in relation to the activities of Antichrist and the development of global governance since the re-establishment of the State of Israel after a 1900 year non-existence.
All this must fit within a 70 year timeframe since Sept 1948, the application to this date is a little tricky, because even applying the 70 years as one would normally do would give a past date for the start of the tribulation of >1948+70=2018-7years=2011 start to trib.
So far the Antichrist hasn't been revealed leading a ten nation or province region nor has the peace treaty of 7 years mediated by Antichrist occurred, so we know a 1948 + 70>2018-7 for the trib start is incorrect.
Personally I believe the 1948 date must be regarded as 1949, or the fullness of the year, making the start to the Matt 24 gen prophesy 1949. If we then go forward 70 years and apply the same fullness to the final year 2019 we actually have 2020 as the number we us minus the 7years of tribulation gives us a start date of 2013.
This year I believe we will see the start of the Mediterranean Union the Empire of Antichrist the re-establishment of the old Roman Empire, the brainchild of the man I do believe will be the Antichrist and soon, Nicholas Sarkozy the ex-French President, he is having a sabatical just at this moment, no one will suspect him when he takes control because the world has seen him before.
Israel and Syria are both supposed to be included within this new exclusive region. i can see a peace treaty coming!
In Daniel 7:24, he(Antichrist) will subdue 3 kings, these where the objectionable sovereign states of this new region, Egypt, Libya and the third will be Syria.
Mabarak and Gadaffi liked their independence.
Daniel 11:43, The first two will go in sequence and did go, both Egypt and Libya, this scripture actually tells us the countries, third country has to do with the alias name of the Antichrist "The Assyrian", or "The Syrian", same thing. the next to complete the 3 is Syria, then the 7yr peace treaty of the AC and his rule and reign, to happen 2013, keep watch!
Incidentally not only is the Mediterranean Union the brainchild of Nicolas Sarkozy, but instigated the over- throw of both Egypt and Libya, that's why I do believe he is the Man of Sin.
He will be back soon in my opinion for the fall of Syria, and the establishment of his Empire.
