You are lying again...Christians are not supposed to lie, because God says ALL liars will go to the Lake of Fire. You did not give any Scriptures supporting your false claim on what an apostle is...you only gave your two cents worth, and that does not count for anything.

Of course you don't agree with me, because I said what was Scripturally sound, and you make up your own version of the Scriptures in your biased mind. And, did I insult you? That was not my intention...but I have learned that on forums like this, claiming that someone insulted you is the hallmark of a person losing the conversation...which you have definitely lost.

The truth is there for all to see...apparently for the exception of those blinded by their bias that directly contradicts what Scripture teaches. If the truth is insulting (which Jesus said it would), then I guess I have insulted you with the facts of the truth. I would say that I am sorry, but the facts are the facts, and I won't apologize for that.

A church without the gifts and operation of the Holy Spirit is essentially powerless. A believer without the gifts and operation of the Holy Spirit is powerless. Why would God leave his church powerless?

Nowhere in scripture…..NOWHERE….does it say that while the church still remained here on earth, the Holy Spirit would diminish in power and in authority or would change the way He operates. If you believe that, you simply believe falsely….and grieve the Holy Spirit Himself.
And I don’t know how anyone who claims to be filled with the Holy Spirit can deny what the Holy Spirit can (and will) still do through a willing, yielded believer.
The Spirit Himself will testify THROUGH you if you are Spirit-filled! And sadly, I just don’t see that happening in you. In fact, I see the opposite. You deny the Spirit and His ability to operate today as He did 2000 years ago.

Your testimony here to a “powerless Holy Spirit” is confirmation of that.

Who sent you to declare or prophecy the word of God?

I speak what the scriptures say. You say to "prophecy" the word of God, as if it is a new prophecy. There are no more new prophecies.

Other than declare the word of God what do you think they were sent to do? Is there another hidden meaning to the word apostle ?

An apostle is one who is CHOSEN, CALLED, and SENT, and TAUGHT by Jesus, and able to do MANY MIRACLES and helped lay the foundation. .

The foundation has been laid with the help of the Apostles. If you call yourself an Apostle, then do you consider yourself one of the people who helped lay the foundation? If you call yourself an Apostle, can you raise someone who has been dead for days and give sight, or the ability to walk to those born without the ability? An Apostle is someone who is a first, a person from whom the message came before it was all written down.

There are false denominations who claim they still have Apostles in their church, and they teach and do false things.

The Catholics believe their popes are apostles, and they have added teachings that nullify the Word of God.
The Mormons believe they have apostles in their church, and they have three extra books that nullify the Word of God.

The Pentecostals believe they have apostles in their church, and they teach that tongues and prophecies.

There might be other sects who preach falseness about Apostles.

You know that no one is raising someone who has been dead for four days, and no one born blind given sight, and no one born paralyzed is healed and can walk. God still does miracles and healing in people's lives, but not exactly as He did during the laying of the foundation.

So God’s power to heal has “changed” somehow? He can no longer do the things He used to….the way He used to? He can no longer work through His followers to perform miracles? This is basically what YOU have been arguing in this thread for 9 pages.

Thats absurd in that what God will do at times is not written in the Bible.

For example, One evening heading to the "church" I used to go to, the Lord told me to go see a particular person, I did not know and had never met, and to tell her to make a list
of all the things that she would need in order to set up her new household that she did not even have.
I did and she was at my house the next morning with her list and we prayed over the list, that the Lord would provide for her and her daughter (4 yr old).
The woman in question was a user of drugs and living with boyfriend who had just kicked her out with the clothes on her back. She being distraught had prayed that
God would make him feel the way he made her feel. Instead the Lord answered differently. He provided a new place for her and her daughter within days, FREE, and within a couple
weeks everything and more that was on her list was in her house. As she had nothing and it was the holiday season you can only imagine what she got. I had to give other items to people
that gave things out of mini storages that she could not take like washer/dryer king size bed doubles of items etc....
The curious thing is that I only told 1 person other than my wife what was gonna happen, of course they thought I was crazy and still do, but the new creatures within us will always seem
crazy to a faithless person.
The testimony is much longer but I shortened it to show you that being sent still happens to this day, and He reveals Himself however He chooses. Apostles are still being raised up but
not necessarily to do only the things written of the believer.
