NKJV and most other translations are based on a corrupt moresetic text. This one in particular is wildly inaccurate. Deut. 32:8 is referring to the scattering of nations from the Tower of Babel, Abraham was not even born at the time, let alone Jacob.

Those angels are known as "watchers" watching over the scattered nations, they are not just messengers, but hosts of heaven, hence God's title "Lord of hosts". You may remember the "thrones, powers, dominions, principalities" in Ephesians, those are not myths are most people think, those are ranks of these angels. You can call them fallen angels if you want.

By the way, it's "masoretic" text, sorry for the typo. And yes, there're a lot of messenger angels going back and forth, but there're other "watcher" angels appointed by God. There're three lines of defense from evil: first, family, established since Adam and Eve; second, church, any close knit community or organization can be counted as well; those two institutions are ordained by God personally; the last one is the government, managed not by the three branches, but by watcher angels.

No, unfortunately it’s not reliable, it was a corrupted version created by some Jews who denied Yeshua. The most reliable version is the Septuigent, also known as the LXX, that’s where all OT quotes in the NT came from directly. Septuigent was in use until the 5th century when the Catholic Church translated the Bible into Latin, and those Jews provided the adulterated Masoretic version for them to use. There had never been an accurate translation since then until the discovery of the Dead Sea scrolls.

Another obvious discrepancy is Hebrew 1:6 - “let all the angels of God worship him (Yeshua)”; this is pretty important, it’s actually a deal breaker for Satan to rebel as he was too prideful to worship a man, and it’s supposed to be a quote from Deut. 32:43; but if you check the OT, it’s not there in most translations based on the Masoretic text, because it was removed.

Isaiah 30:33, 34:9 and Ezekiel 48:22, are interesting references to brimstone, and refer to end-time judgment on the nations, and it will take place upon the earth: just as in Luke 17:29 in reference to Lot, it relates to God's judgment against wickedness, and took place on the earth, resulting in complete destruction. So it will be.

No, hell is the place of the dead, and there is no consciousness in death.

REPLY: Seeing as how nobody down there has any more reason to be civil, then I
think new arrivals can expect to be ill treated in that world.

Also, folks down there are deprived of the regeneration spoken of per John 3:3-8 so
they are there as they were here. Well; human nature tends to deteriorate, sort of

that the lost get badder and badder and badder as time goes on so that even a

“Weeping and gnashing of teeth” was a common idiom to describe being stranded on the street at night, all they can see is the light from the houses and they are shut out, hence all that sadness. This is not talking about hell, but an illustration of unprofitable Christians losing their reward in the millennial kingdom - not in heaven, but here on earth.
