Why does God send people to hell?

God as the Creator and "how" He does things is the standard.
The Creator created the laws of the universe so He can "bend/break" them.
His judgment of Good and Evil is perfect. Ours is not.
Hi I would offer.

Law like stone tablets written on both side with no room for oral traditons of dying mankind It cannot be bend we would have no assuring confidence to judge .

We have the perfect law of faith, hear God, believe God's love not seen by which we can praise his name.

Revelation speaks of the comforting repenting love that draws us back to do the first works yoked with Christ believe God

Revelation 2:4;Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.;Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Not sure what your point is Curtis?

Hell is referred to as 'outer darkness' agreed. Darkness is a metaphor for a place where evil takes place. As John 3:19 explains. ''Loved darkness because their deeds were evil''. Those in hell love doing evil.
In Hell there is no love . But there is a lust to do evil

The Bible says that God created hell for Satan and the wicked angels who rebelled against Him, but there are people in hell also (Matthew 25:41). Both angelic beings and human beings are in hell for the same reason, sin (Romans 6:23).

Because God is completely righteous and morally perfect (Psalm 18:30), He always does what is right—there is no “darkness” in God, not the smallest speck of imperfection (1 John 1:5). God Himself is the standard for what is right, good, and moral. If it were not for God being the standard of moral perfection, created beings would have nothing to measure themselves against. In other words, if God is perfectly righteous, then anything that falls short of said perfection is sinful, and every human being who has ever lived, since Adam’s fall from grace, has committed sin (Romans 3:23). Because Adam sinned, the entire human race now has a sinful nature (Romans 5:12). But people do not go to hell because of Adam’s sin; they go to hell because of their own sin, which they freely choose (James 1:13–16).

Since God is eternal, immutable, and infinite, and all sins are fundamentally against God, God has decreed the just punishment for sin must also be eternal (Matthew 25:46). There is another aspect to consider, which is that God also created people to live eternally. So when someone commits a sin against another person, the offended person has also been eternally wronged.

God, therefore, has deemed all who commit sin will go to hell because they have failed to meet His righteous standard; they have broken His Law of moral perfection. If God did not send people to hell for breaking His laws, it could be said that God is not just (Psalm 7:11). A good analogy is a court of law with a judge and a lawbreaker. A just judge will always convict the person who has been found guilty. If that judge did not pursue justice for the crime, he would not be a just judge (Deuteronomy 32:4).

However, the good news is that God is also merciful. In His rich mercy, He made a way for sinners to avoid the punishment of hell by trusting in the atoning work of His Son, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:9). For Christians, the penalty of sin has been removed and placed upon Christ on the cross (1 Peter 2:24). Because of the sacrifice of Christ, God is still just—the sin is punished—yet He is also merciful to all who believe.

God doesn't send them there, they choose to go there

I would think hell is a extreme suffering unto death not dead.

As living sacrifice poured out as the dead to show spirit life was given

Spiritual ceremonial sacrifice a sign to all the nations of the world. Not a sign to Israel rather the demonstrators of the invisible Father

Healed by his living wound of the father . Not being dead. Death never healed anything.

Again living sacrifice not seen . sacrifice of faith the power of Christ's labor of love (the unseen thing of Christ our husband .

Both Jonah and Jesus prayed three times and were answered .Christ does not speak to the dead (necromancy)

I think this thread has gone into a little confusion. As it started out talking about the dead in general like everybody that dies. And I know what you're talking about, the Dead in God, which is talking about those who have toss got away. The dead in God, would be the same people that Jesus talks about in the Judgment with the King. "Away from me I never knew you". These would be the Dead to God.

But if you're talking about people that have died in the world that's a whole nother ball game. Because those who have died and yet are alive in Jesus are not dead at all.

and this particular thing tends to be an issue between Protestants and Catholics as well. I mean when they see us praying to the Saints for instance, oh you're talking to the Dead. I'm not talking to anybody that's dead I'm talking to the living in Christ. You see how that kind of works LOL

Yes the living that are dead in there trespass and sin. Trusting the dead .those that seek after familiar spirits (oral traditions of dying mankind ).

believer trust sola scriptura all things writen in the law and prophesy .Old testament (law) and new (prophets )

Isaiah 8: 19-20 ;And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, (oral traditions) and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?To the law and to the testimony: (Bible) if they speak not according to this word, (sola scriptura) it is because there is no light in them.

So, what do you think those who choose to go there think they are choosing?
Hell is a Catholic fiction, a religious fable. We would need a whole seminar on Hades, Gehenna, and Sheol, not to mention the Greek view of aiōnios and aiōn.

A short answer, is that these people think they are going into nonexistence... the nothingness poof of death that is so commonly believed in now.

I would agree .

They must call death never to rise to new spirit life. . "limbo or purgatory" .

God defines death "dead". No breath of spirit of life.

If no limbo for the younger sinners or purgatory for the more mature sinners . How could they convince themselves the need of venerating a Legion of disembodied spirits, female and male gods. They must call Patron saint. . . oral traditons of dying mankind

Its a must that they pretend dead is really not dead never to rise to new spirit life. Thier foundation reincarnation

Peter in whom Catholics have as a Pope/daysman according to a law of the dying legion of fathers is used to represent a seral deniers as a warning not do to us .

OnPeter's third denial and forgiveness for blaspheming the Son of man Jesus.

Peter in jealousy which looks to seeks sides. Peter went to town with a oral tradition that John would never die the doctrine of "reincarnation".

Christ working in jesus the apostle dismissed the lying oral tradition of Peters Jealousy . He then revealed if every time the Holy Spirit dismissed the lies of the father of lies and wrote them down we would need a larger planet to store the volumes upon volumes .

One warning not to make sola scriptura without effect . . . . . should of been enough to rightly divide seeking the approval of the father .

John 21:23-25Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

What are the options that they have from which to choose?
At some point they would choose to either accept or reject the conviction of the Holy Spirit with regards to their sin, whichever sin that might be.

... I'm not sure what you're driving at, so my apologies if it's not the answer you're expecting.

I guess i have a question in all this.

Jesus teaches us thought scripture.

The Israelites are the apple of God's eye. The favored and first born children, yet God rejected many over a multitude of years.

Were they not the chosen, the Children of Abraham. How then could these children be rejected by God.

And as these who were unfaithful were rejected by God, what makes it so impossible that we - the adopted children , could not be rejected for being unfaithful as well.

Remember, they were the Children of Abraham, thier place was sealed with God.

Don't hide behide the term , born again, as we know a number of Israelites had the Gifts of the Spirit. I.E. Samuel and Anna the prophets mentioned in the early life of Jesus.

I would offer.

Remember the MO of the father of lies. What God calls two or more he calls one. And what Christ calls one (husband and wife) the father of lies calls it all together many .LGBTQ

Lucifer would make it all one in the same in order to remove the unseen spiritual understanding of faith. Which he knows not of , Satan is not subject to the gospel He has no idea its power .. His goal Murder the whole human race ....

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

Romans 2:28For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

What is the MO of the father of lies. I am afraid i do not pay much attention to it?

Never hear the father of lies.

It usually tells me how much it hates me before going to Jesus. You see when i use the authority God gave me, i always cast them to Jesus, as i do not have nor want the authority to judge them. There is only one judge.
........
Now that makes no sense at all.

"Lucifer would make it all one in the same in order to remove the unseen spiritual understanding of faith. Which he knows not of , Satan is not subject to the gospel "

Ok this is very confusing , even for me.

Firstly, if he has no knowledge of faith? Why is he trying to corrupt it? And secondly - this is nuts " Satan is not subject to the Gospel" what faith are you??? Seriously!!! Ever read, """Every knee shall bend""" this includes ALL creation - even stones with no knees , lmao.

Dude, come out of your fog- please
