How do I accept Jesus as my Savior?

A person's life will show their inner salvation. Believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That He died on the cross with our sins / for our sins/ that He was buried and that He rose again on the third day.

Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth.

It's more than just head knowledge / it's the heart belief.

Do you want to know God?

Do you yearn to experience the Lord’s comforting presence, power, and wisdom? That’s good, because God loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you forever.

The problem is . . .

. . . one thing separates you from a relationship with God—sin. You and I sin whenever we fail to live by the Lord’s holy standard. In fact, Romans 3:23: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

Furthermore, Romans 6:23 explains that the penalty for sin is death—separation from God in hell forever. No matter how hard we try, we cannot save ourselves or get rid of our sins. We can’t earn our way to heaven by being good, going to church, or being baptized (Eph. 2:8-9).

Understanding how helpless we are because of our sins, God sent His only Son, Jesus, to save us.

Jesus Christ lived a perfect, sinless life, and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins (Rom. 5:8). Three days later, He rose from the dead—showing that He had triumphed over sin and death once and for all.

So how can you know God?

It all starts with accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
Jesus Christ provides a relationship with the Father and eternal life through His death on the cross and resurrection (Rom. 5:10).

Romans 10:9 promises, “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” If you have not yet begun your personal relationship with God, understand that the One who created you loves you no matter who you are or what you’ve done. He wants you to experience the profound depth of His care.

Therefore, tell God that you are willing to trust Him for salvation. You can tell Him in your own words or use this simple prayer:

Lord Jesus, I ask You to forgive my sins and save me from eternal separation from God. By faith, I accept Your work and death on the cross as sufficient payment for my sins. Thank You for providing the way for me to know You and to have a relationship with my heavenly Father. Through faith in You, I have eternal life. Thank You also for hearing my prayers and loving me unconditionally. Please give me the strength, wisdom, and determination to walk in the center of Your will. In Jesus’ name, amen.

If you have just prayed this prayer, congratulations!
All humans are born by believing in Jesus & without the knowledge of good and evil. But then they choose the forbidden moral law & lose faith in Jesus. Have you repented?

You were born without the knowledge of good and evil. Don't you need to be delivered from it?

Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

That is what discipleship is all about in running that race as we grow in the word & in the knowledge of Him, He helps us to see our sins and/or iniquities to repent of so that we may bear more fruit as His disciples.

John 15:1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

John 8:30 As he spake these words, many believed on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.....
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

That is why it is written that the just shall live by faith in Jesus Christ & His words to us as He is the only way we can live that reconciled relationship with God the Father & that is through Jesus Chris the Lord as He is the power for living as His.

We were never meant To have the knowledge of both good and evil. So-- we listened to Satan lies instead of God's truth. A person can be delivered from sinfulness by accepting. Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

We were meant to know good from evil, it is how we can truly love God of our own free will, when we choose good.

The Bible says, "If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart, God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus says to those who say, "Jesus you are my Lord"---

Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

We can't enter the kingdom of heaven (put in him), unless we obey.

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

We were meant to know good from evil, it is how we can truly love God of our own free will, when we choose good.
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

We could not love Him nor choose Him unless He had first loved us and had chosen us.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Better expect pruning, brother, in order for you to bear more fruit. That is the only way we can move on to perfection in our walk with Him.

John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

There is no free will when sinners are slaves to sin and need God as his Deliverer.

1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
God loved His CREATION. That is "us" in general.

God doesn't personally know those who don't love Him by obeying Him.

We could not love Him nor choose Him unless He had first loved us and had chosen us.
Notice you ignored the scripture I gave you that say we have to obey?

No one can even get in him to be pruned if you don't first do what he says to do.

We have free will, God says so.

Romans 10:9 promises, “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

It's the "Believe in your heart" that's the problem. If you're not DRAWN TO CHRIST by Father God - you ain't coming.

Not what is written. We can only love Him because He first loved us.
God doesn't personally know those who don't love Him by obeying Him.
Sinners needs His intervention so we can love Him.
Notice you ignored the scripture I gave you that say we have to obey?
Obey by believing in Him to help us to follow Him? Yeah.. I read that but you missed it.
No one can even get in him to be pruned if you don't first do what he says to do.
If we can prune ourselves, then why would we need Him to prune us?
We have free will, God says so.
Quote the scripture. Paul when he was known as Saul under the law, had no free will since he admitted he was a slave to sin. With the mind he served the law but his flesh served sin. How is that free will?

Not what is written. We can only love Him because He first loved us.

God so loved the world is about God loving His creation.

John 3:16 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

You aren't even considered known by God personally if you don't love Him by obeying Him.

1 Corinthians 8:3 But whoever loves God is known by God
Obey by believing in Him to help us to follow Him? Yeah.. I read that but you missed it.
You will never be able to get around the truth that we have to be obedient to God.
If we can prune ourselves, then why would we need Him to prune us?

Jesus came and taught how to make your heart right, the kind of heart he saves.

How is it that you keep skipping over that portion of the verse in how you get everlasting life by believing in Him?

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Is it because you apply every scripture in according to your belief regardless of what He says or what is written?

That is what you do.

Read more of John 3.

Jesus says those who do right are the ones who come to him:

John 3:21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Still cannot see the Father as drawing them unto the Son, eh? If they were doing right, then how are they sinners that need the Father to draw them unto the Son to believe in Him to be saved?

They don't hide their sins like the others who want to keep those sins!
They confess and repent of those sins.

Find these scriptures:
Those who don't believe and obey Jesus love darkness instead of light because their deeds are evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

God draws all with loving kindness, the greatest love ever known, and that is Jesus crucified.

You have to come to Jesus on the cross and crucify yourself with him, and that is about dying to the sins of the world.

You people can pick an argument where ever.
It's called doing what God wants us to do.

We are to debate, even in public debate. We are to argue, vigorously refute, sharply dispute, persuade, oppose, defend, confirm, command, preach, teach, instruct, rebuke, encourage, and contend.
