How do I accept Jesus as my Savior?

They hid themselves from God because of the knowledge of good and evil. When God was asking for them for why they would not appear, they said they were naked. God had to clothed them. It was their sin that drove them away from Him but He was not driven away from them since He had to clothed them so they could be in His Presence even after being kicked out of the garden of Eden.

And the Lord did appear to men in the O.T, after that too.

Jesus The God That Men Had Seen In The O.T.
Jesus delivered us from the forbidden knowledge of good and evil (Romans7:6:"But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held").

We were never meant To have the knowledge of both good and evil. So-- we listened to Satan lies instead of God's truth. A person can be delivered from sinfulness by accepting. Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Jesus delivered us from the forbidden knowledge of good and evil which comes through the moral law (Romans7:6:"But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held").

Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

That is what discipleship is all about in running that race as we grow in the word & in the knowledge of Him, He helps us to see our sins and/or iniquities to repent of so that we may bear more fruit as His disciples.

John 15:1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Hebrews 12:1
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

John 8:30 As he spake these words, many believed on him. 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

1 John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.....
8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

2 Timothy 4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

That is why it is written that the just shall live by faith in Jesus Christ & His words to us as He is the only way we can live that reconciled relationship with God the Father & that is through Jesus Chris the Lord as He is the power for living as His.

You are confusing between acts & the forbidden knowledge of good and evil which judges those acts as sinful.

Jesus delivered us from the forbidden knowledge of good and evil (Romans7:6:"But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held").
Seems clarification is needed here, because we still have knowledge of good and evil even after having been saved, but we are delivered from the end result for having the knowledge of good and evil which is eternal separation from God.

As it is, His standard are higher than the works of the law as in, if one looks at a woman and lust after her, they already committed adultery in their hearts and so to know His commandments requires the knowledge of good and evil that His commandments are good and why we need Him daily to help us to follow Him in keeping His commandments because there is no way to live that reconciled relationship with God the Father except thru Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd.

When the knowledge of good and evil is actually unbelief in God and His words, and salvation is by believing in Jesus Christ & His words, then yes, by believing in Him is confessing the sin and repenting from unbelief, that knowledge of good & evil.

So you no more judge your thoughts as either good or evil?

Are you saying you are justified before God by fulfilling the moral law?

Back in Genesis 2 when God told Adam and then Eve to not eat of that particular tree but they did anyway. By eating of that tree of the knowledge of both good and evil - they immediately knee they were naked. They knew them that God was seeing them as they really were. The point was that they tried to cover themselves with the leaves but God planned to cover them with the skin of an animal.

Mankind inherited the knowledge of both good and evil as a result. It's nothing that an individual needs to repent of.
It's our sin nature that needs to be delt with. We have the knowledge of both good and evil all of our lives. Because of the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross and his bodily resurrection, we do not need to be slaves to the evil part of life. We are now free to do much good for God in our lives. What he wants us to do.

We have to repent of our sins, whatever our sins are. Many people never heard of God and Jesus as was evident in Anthens:

Acts 17:23 For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: to an unknown god. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am going to proclaim to you.

All you are doing is trying to protect a false doctrine you adhere to called faith alone.

We were meant to have knowledge of both good and evil, or there would never have been freewill to love God, we would have been as robots programmed. Of course God meant for us to have freewill and He knew humans would sin.

All humans are born by believing in Jesus & without the knowledge of good and evil. But then they choose the forbidden moral law & lose faith in Jesus. Have you repented?
What? Humans aren't born believing in Jesus, they have to hear about him. See Romans 10:14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

Choose the forbidden moral law? What? Where do you get the law is forbidden?

A person's life will show their inner salvation. Believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. That He died on the cross with our sins / for our sins/ that He was buried and that He rose again on the third day.

Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth.

It's more than just head knowledge / it's the heart belief.
All good but we have to confess our sins with out mouth and believe in our hearts that Jesus washes those sins away. We have to do more than just believe and say, "Jesus is my Lord". Those who say with their mouth, "Jesus is my Lord", they had better be obeying their Lord.

Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Are you saying you are justified before God by fulfilling the moral law?
By believing in Jesus Christ & His words. God justifies me for believing in Him.

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Salvation has come to me since I have believed in Him since a tot. However, although reconciled to God thru Jesus Christ, He had to help me be His friend by trusting Him as my Good Shepherd to follow Him & His words as His disciple in my adult years ahead and onward still, thanks to the Father in Jesus's name.

Faith alone doesn't save anyone, so says the WORD OF GOD.

The question is what is a person placing their faith In? "For by grace ye are saved through faith and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest any one should boast. "

A person has to put their faith in the shed blood of Jesus on the cross purifying them of the sins they repent of doing.

The Jews used to do the works of the law which are the purification works, they used to have to sacrifice the blood of lambs and be circumcised in the flesh and do the other purification works.

Now we have to confess to Jesus our sins and repent of them, crucify ourselves on the cross with Christ and die to the sins of the world and raise up to please Jesus.

Well , yes and no.
Those who accept Jesus Christ shed blood on the cross as being sufficient to take care of all our sins -- God sees us as justified / just as if I'd never sinned.

No one is 'pure' until they are with Jesus Christ for eternity.

Even as a result of salvation, we still have the sin nature in us. That why Paul comments about the inner struggle that he experiences. The desire to do good and ending up doing otherwise. The desire to do the right thing does win a lot of the time and then we go do something we really know we shouldn't. Part of being a human being.

Your last paragraph sound like a person has to be baptized over and over again in order to continue living for Christ.
