@B-A-C -- agree with you -- "He is coming" is True -- but NOW is the time for salvation. Back in the times of the Old Testament - started at the beginning Of time. God provided for Adam and Eve through the shedding of innocent blood to cover Their sins. Back Then, people had the prophets to tell them. Hebrews 1 tells us That. And Romans 1 tells us that people have Always had truths from God through nature. Mother Nature = God.

People looked forward To the prophesies being fulfilled -- they looked Towards the Future Messiah Or rejected Him. And during the actual time of Jesus Christ being here on earth - He was either accepted or rejected. And the same Now. Either accept Jesus Christ or reject Him.

Only God, Himself, knows when 'our' time is up. We are to be ready NOW.

of course people were still on earth, doesnt mean no rapture, doe not mean there is a rapture.. I lean towards a rapture and respect those who dont. I would not bet on one though

one thing is certain, even if there is a rapture or if there is not, we believers will be tested to the fullest, the events leading up to a rapture (if there is one) will test us to the fullest, we must cling to the word of God like never before, and grow as strong as possible in our walk, serving others, spreading the word, warning everyone, praying fasting.. I have been doing this repeatedly . All i ask . Does anyone use the Gifts of the Holy Spirit . And can you distinguish between your own peace and Gods confermation. Because if you can do that . Then put it to use on what i am saying . There will be no pre trib rapture . .

So many times , i have spoken about KNOWING Gods peace in your heart. But it goes on deaf ears , or those of you who dog my footsteps only to knock down anything i try to say.

And the importants of knowing how to use the Gifts . Does anyone teach about exercising the Gifts , like you would your body. Scripture tells us to Fan into a Flame your faith. This includes using the Gifts . Not everyone can decern correctly overnight. It takes some practice .

Can you read a New Paper , and using the Gift of the Holy Spirit which articles are true and which are false . Those Gifts can tell you , to the one who works on it .

Or Healing . , with pin point accurasy to help a doctor . Because God works differently in each healing.

Or Spiritual Sight , or so many other Gifts of the Spirit not mentioned.

The Holy Spirit gives born again believers the gifts that He, the Holy Spirit decides to give a particular person. Our inner peace Is our confirmation of being in God's Will. You are suggesting that a person who has the gift of discernment will discern that there is no pre-trib rapture. My 'discernment' says that Your discernment Might be over-stepping a bit -- you are attempting to be the 'Holy Spirit' for 'me' and my understandings of Scripture. Doesn't work that way.

In the case of reading a news paper -- common sense in reading. Being aware of what's going on around you and the rest of the world.

Honestly -- as soon as you suggested that true discernment of Scripture would convince a person Against believing in a pre-trib rapture view -- you turned me Off. to anything more you'd be saying. You are Not the Holy Spirit.

When ever the 'church' is raptured up and out of here, those who have been left behind are the non-believers / non-saved. The 'church' is all born again believers from all over world. There's really no such thing as your 'institutionalized' church.

There Is the local body of believers -- up until very recently -- those people have been meeting together in a building of some kind in order to worship together. We need to be able to encourage each other.

These are both decrees of God and I feel 100% positive all have lived in unbelief and condemnation except Jesus, therefore you fulfilled the first half of the verse like it

I am a little concerned, the gifts come from the Holy Spirit, Truth is revealed by the Holy Spirit.

When reading a newspaper I too can tell if a story is true are false, I do appreciate the Holy Spirit can work on our hearts in some instances, but most times it is our instinct or common sense that tells us whether a story is true or false, most are false or exaggerate one way or another to make a story people will read. Worldly comes to mind, for those two reasons I don't buy a newspaper and haven't done so for over 20 years.

As for God's Peace, when you have it you know you have it, that is for sure. Jesus gives us His Peace, not as the world gives does He give us His Peace. Having His peace in our heart is unexplainable, it is incredible, it is like nothing will get us frustrated and worked up, that is because the peace Jesus give does just that. Inner peace it truly a blessing but feeling the peace and being wrapped in His Peace is another thing. It has not happed to me for some time now, but I have on a number of occasions, been deep in prayer and have been lifted out of this world, into a white brightness like no light or colour could match, but the peace I was wrapped in is unexplainable. It certainly is perfect peace.

As for the Tribulation, I remain Pre-Trib, but as always I keep an open mind, the Holy Spirit will reveal the Truth when He is ready.

The most important part for us all is, be ready, practice righteousness, praying, worshipping, rejoicing. Jesus is Coming Soon!

I agree with most of what you say here Sue.

But I have to disagree with what has become named the institutionalised church.

The Institutionalised Church consists of
- Roman Catholic Church
- Anglican Church
- Methodist Church
and possibly others.

RC ministers (Pope's, Cardinals, Bishops, Fathers!) are from the RC stock, they are taught and follow RC ways of worship and practices.
I do not need to list all the scriptural errors here, I have done so in the past

Church of England ministers (Arch Bishop, Bishop's, Vicars) are from the CofE stock, they are taught and follow CofE ways of worship and their practices.
There are many items they do that are scripturally incorrect, though far less than the RCC.

The institutionalised churches are larger organisations, often run in a business like way, and have links with governments of the country.

This said all churches have errors, not are perfect.

The true church, the ekklesia, has no denominations, and scripture is its guide. It is saved souls, men and women, in all the world, regardless of age, ability or disability, country or language spoken. That is the True Church of Jesus Christ, His Bride, the ekklesia.

When I read that I did not see the baptism of water what I saw was the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The Baptism of Water, is given to us by fellow Christians welcoming us into the family. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to us by God, and sets us on a path to teach to prophesy to become the witness of God

At the moment Of our heart belief, the Holy Spirit comes to indwell our heart, we become a bornAgain believer -- God has a plan for each believer - part of that would be to share the Gospel unto salvation with those we'd come into contact with during our lives. Are you by chance referring to being a Jehovah's witness?

Not many years ago the Catholic Church in south America was exposed for investing in online porn, reason, it gave a higher return for their investment! Money!
More recently the CofE was going to buy Wonga, the pay day loan company for a massive amount of money, it gave a high return from their investment, but would have seen the church investing in loans to the poorer people in society, the desperate people. The fact they didn't, doesn't take away the fact they were going to.

Where in the Scripture does it say Baptism by Water can Only be done by immersion . I am just curious . As all things are possible in God

Many years ago the Lord gave me a vision, where i saw all the Children of God . They came from all the Christain Churches including Catholic Jews, Muslims and many others around the World .

All were bickering back and forth of who had the niche on God. " We know God , you don't " and so on.
