Shocking Youth Message Stuns Hearers

No no, did not change my mind. There are a few that misunderstand and could very likely end up telling people outside the board what they thought was said, and that's how misconceptions keep momentum. I did not mean the whole thread is wrong. Sorry for the confusion. :embarasse

I have gotten here late as usual, however, I did watch the whole message and it was powerful, honest and completely biblical. Anyone who thinks that the content of that preacher's message is too intense probably needs to spend more time in the sriptures and much more time on his or her knees in prayer seeking God's face.

We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Unfortunately, only some have come to Christ in full surrender with child like faith.

The rest of us need to take this message to heart and repent, repent and repent.

If only there were more preachers and evangelists that preached the whole word of God in love as he did.

Exactly my thoughts. I will say more, however it is time for dinner! :)

Gods word touching lives as usual.
So thx again for the video link my frind.

I just want to know why that message was titled "Shocking Youth Message"...

Why is the truth shocking? I thoroughly enjoyed it and would put that pastor on my list of Top 10 I'd love to sit down and talk to.

Thanks for sharing. Any more info on how or where he preaches?

The shocking part about it is that it is an unusual method of preaching (not to mention the intensity) and not your average pastor. Its not your common preacher or sermon. So its shocking, but in a good way, at least from those who comprehend and respect the Bible's truth.

I think I was a little suprised when he said I dont know why you are clapping I am talking about you.
I said outch.

That was the best part of the beginning portion of the sermon. That part I believe really struck the audience and got their attention. Perhaps the start of the "shocking" message. But it was awesome. He said just like it is, sincerely and truthfully. He pointed out the hypocrites hands down, undeniable.

Well he had my real atention at that point and made me check myself.
I think that is the part that made me listen to the hole think.
I said this here preacher is not your average preacher.
Man I would rather hear the Truth that makes me uncomfertable than hear depart from me for I never knew you.
Now that would be eternaly devestating.

Amen to that line brother! Now that's what I'm talking about. The great thing is after we're so convicted and we seriously surrender to our Father, following Christ we do not need to be uncomfortable. We will have the peace of Christ within us knowing that no matter what tomorrow brings, we are saved by Grace through faith in Jesus.

I know that many North American churches are spiritually bankrupt, but I have a problem with Rev.Washer seemingly painting all curches with the same brush. Quite a few congregations have broken away from mainline denominations in recent years because of their unbiblical teachings and practices. The Holy Spirit has been shaking the church for quite some time.

Now if you sugar coat the Truth of Gods word would that be adding to it or taking away from it?
And if so isnt there a danger in that?

i meant that he didnt held back. a lot of preacher just want you to like them. they just tell you what you want to hear. but yea i guess your right.

Lots of times when preachers "sugar coat" things they will only preach certain parts of the Bibles, parts that won't make people mad. The WHOLE Bible is God's Word, they should preach from ALL of it.

the only thing that i disagree with in that whole sermon is where the man stated that if you ask jesus into your heart that he does not actually come into your heart. other that that this message from him needs to be heeded as a warnimg to all the churches in america.

many proclaim and many state this or that but the truth of the matter is, americans have become weak espeacially in the areas of christianity. the truth of sin and what sin is and isnt is no longer found in most churches anymore.

many people are falling trap to the teachings of pastors such as joel olsteen with his all you have to do is think positive teachings. yet i have never seen in scripture where it states that thinking positive saves us.

ther are many other false teachings that arte taught in the churches today that keep people from the truth. the great auhority teachings. teaching people that we are not to question authority just beleive everything concerning authority.

i think before any of us actually judge this man that spoke we should study the word of god for what it says and pay attention to what is being spoke in the churches today.

I think I was being sarcastic when I said "Why is it shocking?" Clearly this is not the message we get in most churches and we should be getting from those who are NOT false prophets. This video and sermon was very appropriate and awesome.

I will say that I am very fortunate to have close friends who are believers and I find that some 30somethings are tired of what the world has to offer (zip!) and want the real thing, Christ Jesus as He is truely (not the T shirt Jesus).

Thanks for the email to the link; I do believe that this was a message from my Father on this rainy night, when I need to be disciplined and loved and put back on that narrow path.

Good and healthy food....

I dont know what to say or where to start.....But what i know is this teaching is for real, its God inspired word delivered at the right season and time. That is what we need, SOLID FOOD.

I wonder why some people were complaining of this kind of teaching which is purerly PURE WORD, no spices added on it to make you excited and at the end of the sermon you dont get anything, this is just pure word. We've been feeding on milk for too long its high time for solid food(pure word of God) which is able to take us through this journey.

I actually read the sermon so that it can sink properly and i couldnt stop saying Halleluyah and Amen to almost every paragraph....this word convicted and challenged me and i want to put across to us the following questions:

-Look at your walk, your talk and passions of heart, Is Jesus somewhere there?
-There some issues and situation you're believing God for and they've taken ages to manifest, is God in that? Is this His will?
-In Salvation our part is to repent daily and examine ourselves in light of scriptures to see IF we are in the faith/ Christians, are you happy with the day to day results?

Chad, expect criticism and challenges when you focus to spread this kind of rare teaching, for many dont want to hear the truth, they want to be infants for the rest of their lives, I would say like Paul "Be more concerned for the glory of God than for the attitudes of men." Thats what my pastor taught me years back in Africa where people die seeking God by all means.....and his teachings made me to be what i am today by God's grace. He's the first African bible teacher who brought this teachings of revival in Africa. No compromising gospel.:thumbs_up

The time is NOW, that the truth will be separated from the lies, light from darkness thus, cause mighty revival amongest all nations....There's no compromise its either you take it and digest the solid food or you leave it and be an infant forever.....the choice is ours!!.

Brother Chad, Keep posting more of this teachings. :thumbs_up
