In 2001 I was 5-6 months into my pregnancy, when I gave birth to my baby weighing 1.2kg.
He had no fingers and his ears were not properly formed.
My little child died after ten minutes and the Australian doctor said he had to do the report and get the baby away to the morgue in a plastic bag.
I asked the doctor if I could pray. I was already Spirit-filled and I had the confidence and wanted to pray for my child and see what God could do.
I said, "God, You are so powerful and so wonderful. I have seen the miracles that You have done in my life by changing me from bad to good, and I believe that You can do the same with the power
that raised Lazarus from the dead; and that power is in me today, and I believe that this power can raise my son.
But if You wish to take him away I do not have any say; life or death, it is all Yours and I praise Your name."
And I said, "Thank you, doctor", and went back to sleep. I couldn't cry, and the Lord was very close to me.
Three hours later, as the nurse was about to open the door to the morgue, the Lord did the most wonderful thing - the baby came back to life!
The nurse ran back to the doctor and they cut the bag and the string - the baby was breathing, he was screaming, and struggling, he opened his eyes!
The doctor put in the drip & said, "Go and get the mother."
When I saw my baby I said, "God, You are wonderful, You are powerful, and You prove it. When I have Your spirit, when I cry out, You come down and You meet my need."
And the doctor said to me, "Woman, you are very small but your faith is great."
We stayed in hospital for 1 month and the baby's ears and fingers formed properly, and his weight went up to 4 kg.
The doctor said, "The baby is very healthy - go home!" Now my little boy is 5 years old and very healthy. He does a lot of singing in the church.

IT WAS A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE
a testimony by Jackie from Melbourne Australia

I just couldn’t get life right. I didn’t know the way. I had read different philosophies and looked into eastern religions but there was nothing there.
I sat in churches to listen but came away disappointed each time.
One day in 1980 a fellow student opened a Bible and showed me John 3:3 ‘Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God’.
One night a security guard also told me the same scriptures and gave me a pamphlet. I realised they attended the same place.
I came to a meeting; it was orderly, everyone had a Bible and was paying attention to it being explained. I had never seen or heard that before.
People showed me scriptures about repentance, baptism and receiving the Holy Spirit.
There was an opportunity to be baptised, so I did it. It was a life changing experience.
When I came up out of the water, I knew I was completely renewed.
Instantly I had a peace of mind I had never known.
When I opened my mouth to quietly thank God for this miracle, instead I was speaking fluently in tongues, a language of thanks and praises to God.
I read in the Bible that the Holy Spirit is the Comforter and my experience confirmed that.
I did not feel lost anymore, the turmoil was gone, I felt whole, clean and new inside.

The Lord blessed me with a good husband.
When our first son was a toddler he had a fever and while I held him and prayed he immediately cooled down under my hands.
His strength returned and he started walking and asking for food again.
In high school he was tormented every day by a big boy who would wait for him in the stairwell and throw him against the wall.
We prayed about it and it didn’t happen again.
Our second son fell into the pool unnoticed and we thank the Lord that he didn’t drown.
Our daughter was bitten on her foot as a toddler. As we laid hands on her and prayed we both saw the redness and swelling go down before our eyes.

Now I know the way. In these 34 years the Lord has looked after us so well and been our shelter when times have been rough.
The stability and new understanding I now enjoy are only because the Lord has opened my eyes and given me life. He is my Comforter and Counsellor.
I found the answer is to be born again and to follow sound wisdom from the Bible.
I am so thankful I was found.

You speak to others in condescending tones and often act as if you are the only person here who has come to understand the full truth of the Gospel and of God’s Word.

You act as if you are the first person in history who has claimed to have found Godly, biblical “truth” on your own. You act as if you are the first believer in history who has refused to to accept the title “Christian.” And you act as if you are the first believer in history who has disavowed church denominations and who has rejected the idea of organized “religion” and religiosity. There seems to be a pattern to your responses.
I don’t know about yours; but my God “is no respecter of persons,” and He doesn’t look very kindly upon a prideful heart.

You are also very quick to call out, judge, and rebuke others who haven’t come to Jesus along the exact same path that you have trodden.

I don’t worship a denomination friend. I’m a born again follower of Jesus, who is the One True God who came to earth in flesh. Only by His blood and because of His grace am I saved. “But by the grace of God, there go I !”
He and He alone is the one true Way to salvation. Whether someone comes to saving knowledge of that Gospel truth through the witness of others or sitting Pentecostal church,, or in any church for that matter….matters not. It is YOU who seems to take issue with others because of what kind of church they claim to belong to.

Finally, you pridefully make statements like you “follow the old path” or the “old way “ whatever that means.
Brother, there is only ONE WAY and it’s not an “old way” or a “new way” …..it’s the Narrow Way, and it leads to a very narrow gate…and that gate is Jesus!
