What is the difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming?

Truthfully norapture, in the post above I was trying to stick with the "lighthearted" approach as I always do.

But it is becoming quite obvious to me that many here are dead set on causing conflict, being finger pointers, and plain fighting and being ugly.

Since you point out my "fun" and claim things he said weren't wrong, I'd like to tell you as a brother in Christ I have a large heart and what he said bothered and hurt me.

And if it hurt me, I believe it was unkind and unloving. There is no Biblical support for what he done, nor what you are doing now.

I am not an enemy of God. He was telling lies about me and everyone else here.

Dot get me wrong, we will be caught up to meet the Lord in
the air. Its the timing , that the rapture teaching has wrong.

I'm not sure I follow exactly, but since there was a pitch, I'll swing.

When Revelation talks about the people of the world being terrified and hiding from the wrath of the Lamb at the end of chapter 6, then that is Jesus.. because Jesus is the Lamb, I think we agree there. We can twist and cut and paste and skip and mix stuff, but I don't discuss too far in depth with people that do that, because when we do that we all have different books all of a sudden. Revelation for one is a different order for another. So I go with how God wrote the book.. just like it is. I don't think He wrote it to be cut and pasted in a different order to be understood.

With that said, if we take it how it is written, directly after the "Lamb" is seen and feared by the world we see the Saints before God praising Him in chapter 7.. How did we, THE SAINTS get there? LOL

Chapter 6 of Revelation imagery and Chapter 24 of Matthew imagery line up word for word. No question about that, it's indisputable. Then Jesus is seen by the world, and the Saints are before the throne praising God.. What happened?

Jesus says when He comes back it will be as Revelation 6 describes is, as the lightning shines from the east to the west.. in other words, the ENTIRE world will SEE HIM.

Now.. With all that in place, then chapter 8 of Revelation begins pouring the wrath of God out on the earth. Would we be here for that? I don't think Jesus is going to pour wrath out on me if I'm am saved by Him, that is contradictory. He saves me, but also pours wrath on me?

Not to mention, in chapter 7 we are praising God before His throne.. how are we in Heaven with God and on earth at the same time? We can't be on the earth in chapter 8 if we are seen with God in chapter 7.

If you don't mind, I'll take a swing too. Is there anything about the rapture could not happen .....
Well for one thing, in the rapture the bride meets Jesus in the air...For another thing, the bride comes with Jesus at the second coming, which could not happen if she had not been caught up first. The marriage feast of the lamb occurs between the catching up of the bride and the coming of the Lord when His feet touch the Earth. So there are two right here that agree and ......Why do you think that the marriage feast would occur during a time of judgment of the unbelievers, a time of war between the powers of darkness, when Satan gets locked up. and a new government is being set up..A Theocracy by the way. It will be a very busy time. Oh yes. And the gathering of all those who are saved throughout the tribulation period... a very busy time.. I would have to be a very hurried feast with no time for celebrations....

The rapture and the second coming occur at the same time


If it becomes not understood what it is, it is to those who are on the outside who cannot read and understand.
Sound doctrine is the enemy of false teachers who seek to dispute none disputable things that are made clear by the sound doctrine.
False teachers seek to complicate and obfuscate the truth that is plainly set out in sound doctrine.

For instance St Paul assured those who were worried they had been left behind, by clearly telling them That the false teachers telling them they had been left behind were not telling them the truth, because they could not have been, for;
The coming of the Lord and our being gathered to him will not occur until after the falling away and the man of sin ( antichrist) has been revealed.

He did this to reassure them by using sound doctrine to allay their fears of Their having being left behind, which he carefully got rid of by making clear Those two things must occur before the "rapture" so to speak.

That this is true That the church was to be aware that the antichrist was to be revealed Before the second coming and rapture is further shown by John in his letters,
To the affect that many antichrist were now and Yet the antichrist was to come.

For The falling away has already been and antichrist has been revealed already
It is the papacy.

Yet some receive the one claiming to be the supreme high Priest of the universal church
Some receive the man of sin as rightfully taking the very title of God in Christ
And so accept that head with a name Of blasphemy.
Some do not understand.
But some do.

I understand what you mean, but I've been on the various sides of some of the many issues too many times myself. The apostles who wrote what they wrote which became scripture are not here to testify for themselves. The Truth of the matter of God's Word is available but only through the quickening (bringing to Life) of the raw scripture within a man by the Holy Ghost.

This is what the Holy Ghost in us is supposed to be about, but reasoning minds of men will often have their own way causing confusion for too many people. When Jesus spoke he never spoke with confusion, but some people whose own ways were in their way were confused.

The testimony is the word of God


Those who are God's will have the spirit, they will be reachable not by men but by his word
They will not refuse the truth, The rebels will refuse it though

The very plain truth that st paul teaches concerning the coming of the lord and our being gathered to him concerns one event on one day, and st paul makes clear that that day will not come until After the Falling away ( from the truth) and man of sin is revealed.

The plain Truth of the words in english is understood by even those who do not believe in the Lord.

A liar is exposed by his lie against What is fully known to be the truth not because of lies.
Those in christ know the truth and can see the lies that are against christ's truth, Christ truth which is the word of truth that is not hidden but has been made known to all men who are in the truth..

The body of Christ is not in mystery Babylon ( confusion)
It is in the truth and knows ALL things .
