What is the difference between the Rapture and the Second Coming?

[Ceptor, post: 265687, member: 30936"]I was indeed saying that the rapture was the start of the "Day of the Lord" that is also called "The wrath of the Lamb" which is the beginning of the tribulation, when tribulation is referred to as the seven year period of God's wrath poured out. It begins at the sixth seal.

I have not studied enough in depth to answer the second question with certainty as of yet.

Tribulation and Gods wrath are not the same.[/QUOTE

You need to understand the rapture and the day of the Lord are Two different events. Just like Noah's ark was closed up, protecting those within, then the flood came. The rapture comes, protecting the bride of Jesus, then the tribulation happens.

At the end of the tribulation period Jesus comes back with tens of thousands of His saints..The bride. The bride is the one who rules with Jesus. Has it ocurred to anyone that the bride is/are the one who is chosen from the called..."For many are called, but few are chosen" The chosen will be the ones who are surrendered to Gods will and live as He wants us to. who do the things He wants us to. Not all Christians will surrender their wills to God. They are not the chosen
Brother, who are the ones called, and who are the one chosen? Is not every single person born on planet earth called. Is not all those chosen the one who responded to that call?
I thought Jesus said ALL that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will never cast them out. (John 6:37) When God starts a work in a Christian does he not bring that work to its expected end?

Php 1:6.. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

Many are invited and buy into fire insurance but do not want to surrender to His way of doing things. Those that gladly and willingly surrender all their will and mind and body and soul to Him are chosen out of the invited. They are the bride. The others may go to heaven but they are NOT the bride. Sorry

Matthew 22:10-14 (CJB)
10 The slaves went out into the streets, gathered all the people they could find, the bad along with the good; and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11 “Now when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who wasn’t dressed for a wedding; so he asked him, 12 ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him outside in the dark!’ In that place people will wail and grind their teeth, 14 for many are invited, but few are chosen.”

Why was the man kicked out? He chose to come as he wanted instead of honoring the host and the couple being married. Do it your own way if you want but don't expect to get the reward

Brother if we do it our way, then we never did belong to him.

Did the guy who was kicked out into outer darkness have "fire insurance"?

He was invited, he came because of the invite, and was not chosen to enjoy the feast because he came as he chose not the way he should have.
Now the point is....You have been invited to spend eternity with Jesus in paradise. You come in, getting fire insurance, that is to say you do not go to hell, but you want everything your way, which means you are Not chosen to be part of the bride. You're in the gate but you're an also ran.

Don't you think there are millions of people in the Church today that come every week to hear the Word of God, and never make that commitment to be saved, yet they think they are? They look just like the real thing but are not.

Yes...Scary isn't it? One has to remember though.....ITS NOT ABOUT YOU...ITS ABOUT THE KING!

This is the same day , it takes place on the same day.
The catching away, the resurrection, the last trump, when the son of man is revealed , the wrath, the gathering , the coming , when the dead in Christ shall rise ( even the ones killed that didn't take the mark, or his name, or worship the beast, during the tribulation.

These all will live and reign with Christ that died for his name,
during the tribulation.
They are in the first resurrection, all at the same time.
There is no secret rapture , where Christ will not be revealed to the whole world, at his coming.
He even said don't let no man receive you that it would be like lighting when he returns, that everyone will see him.
Why would he even say let no man deceive us, if we was to be rapture 7 years before his coming.

Sorry Wrong. Try again. LOL It's obvious you spend time in the Word but we cannot learn from God with our own heads. We NEED the Holy Spirit to teach us.

No need to try again , cause im not the one wrong
And according to you that would be Holy Spirit, that is wrong , because it was him that show me the truth about the doctrine of the rapture, that it is a lie to deceive many , cause they love not the truth.

Uuuh Ok.

It's so fitting, I think it needs a neon sign. The Almighty says it best.

Does anyone have any verses that show that Revelation is not wrote in chronological order?

It seems to me it is, and I really want to know because there is an enormous number of people that overlap and skip and this and that... and yet, I never heard the reason they done any of it... (or at least any that made sense yet)

Verses that show it is in chronological order are also welcomed. I want to know how it's meant to be read. And I want to know if I'm missing something and just can't find it.

Probably most people do not know the answer to your question and cannot even understand some parts of Revelation well enough to arrange it other than it presently is. I certainly find myself in that category.

As I read and study and pray at times I am able to relate to what is being said by what is written. Consider that God effectively wrote all of scripture yet He used a number of different writers over a period of centuries to do so. He coordinated and ordered the whole things and the final result will be inerrant as God sees it. It does all connect including the Book of Revelation, but who is able to put together all of the pieces correctly? It may be similar to a multidimensional jigsaw puzzle... but, the pieces can be fitted together wrong. Perhaps this is one reason there are so many groups of people (churches or denominations) supposedly based on the same Bible with sometime radically opposed doctrines.
